I was a feeder from 73 to 06. Fist time I worked a triple pay day the numbers did not add up to me. Boss said, part of it is the money you would have got for not even getting out of bed. OH? I was a brown blood UPSER. Loved the outfit. Not so sure I would feel comfortable now with the way CEO is operating. What do you do when they shut down a center for a year? The work still has to be covered from another near by area. How do they do that? New hires or let people laid off follow the work. If those laid off do not have a certainty of coming back what do you see. I see a gradual replacement of all drivers as they close and reopen and close another place. Teamsters, HELLOOOO!!🦇
Cool, congrats on your years of service and thanks for your comment. It's always tricky with corporate decisions. In general, most cost cutting decisions tend to be unpopular amongst the workforce and the general public. I think it is fair to allow the people from the affected location to follow the work. I know it wouldn't be 100%, however giving people the option is probably best.Overall, the workforce might shrink over time, but not by much relative to the size. It's important to pivot with the times if they want to stay competitive. I may do a video on this soon. Thanks for the idea!
@@BrickedOutMedia Hope you do a video on that. Never in my 33 years did UPS do anything like this. They close a whole center for a year. If they move the work down the road and do not let workers follow their jobs are over. So, when they open the center back up will they close the one they sent the work to for a year? Hard to get info on the one question, can they follow the work.🦇
I’m a SSD I wish I got the extra 8! But thankful for my SSD job and hopefully it will turn into something great!
Thanks for your comment. I hope so too!! Keep me updated.
Definitely made some good money this black friday. Love the content bro keep up the good work.
Yeah man, let's run it up! I appreciate you bro, thanks for watching!💪🏾🔥💯
Damn! They sent home all the new covers on black friday!
YEP, I seen it! Our center had enough seniority drivers that signed up for the routes that were in, so.....🤷🏾♂️
THANK YOU
💯

"Close to 8 hours " and a helper ? Haha you all need a raise 😅 I picked the wrong job
Heyyyy, I'm down with another raise!😆
Wouldn’t this also be true on MLK day?
No, that's not a "working" holiday. Just a regular holiday, so UPS is closed.
