PT Unloader. Just got my 4th wisdom pulled today. Got 4 implants, bone graft 80% covered, everything else (extractions, root canal, reg cleaning 100% covered). If it wasn't for UPS, I'd still have missing teeth. I had bad insurance pre-UPS and they don't cover much besides cleanings. Luxury bones my butt, Europe & Canada have socialized dental and don't have this problem.

Good work, keep keeping the world moving. You right, UPS jobs ain't for the weak, I watched multiple people come in day one working warehouse, they would disappear at lunch without saying a word, and never show up again.

Nice to hear how ups functions down where you are. I'm up in canada and ups is run in the same way with a few differences here and there. I transferred to another building in a smaller town 15 years senority went to the new building and back to the bottom on the senority list. Pay is the same top rate all stays the same weeks of vacation etc. Just lose the ability to bid on a run. For me not a big deal needed to do what was best for my family and move away from the big city. It all worked out though as the turn over was really high and basically moved up in senority to the middle of the list in no time. Bro I just went through my first peak season as a preloader, let me tell you: it was HELLL 😂. Dont mind it though, it's a fun job, UPS is pretty dope and hopefully there's a driver position waiting for me in the soon future. Take care boss and keep on grinding 👍

Start inside and let mgt know you want to be an RTD driver for peak. Gets you out of the hub for a few months driving so you'll make more. Once peak is over. You will go back in the hub. As driver positions open up, UPS will pull from those trained RTD drivers based on senority for FT driver positions.

This was my first year working for UPS SSD. It hasn’t been worth it. Dispatch is very short with you. The hours are awful. Last week I worked two days. The send you a text message around 7:30am to let you know if they need you. The shift starts at 11am! My checks have been $300-$420. USPS was better. They give you the hours and the pay is better especially without using my own vehicle.

Some of the guys at my spot always just stretch it during the week so they can get early out early on Saturdays. I got some hours left today so I should have most of a full route today. I prefer staying on my route, but the all ressie routes on Saturday are nice too. No bulk stops or businesses. I keep waiting to get another 500 package truck but hasn't happened this week so far. As an SSD I'm working to stay as a driver come January and February. I can't tell if the loads are lighter, or if I'm just getting better. I'm getting 150 done in what I used to do at 100-120, so it seems like light work. As long as the aisles aren't packed in and the shelves aren't crashing to the floor lol. Depends on the loaders, and I've been getting the veteran guys all week. Makes a huge difference. You see them freshies I'm the blue vests you know it ain't gonna be good lol. You get 80 percent of your pay for a year while you’re laid off through the union.

I've been having average 150 stops but alot of eregs in the middle with alot of business bulk stops it's still peak for me😂 that stuff hard to work with at least half the day

This is my 5th year..1 as a driver helper, the other’s as personal driver. I have apartment’s, and I hate em! Im still trying to figure out how to deliver faster, with apartments they slow you up. Very organized. So how can I move faster, any tricks?
