DTM paint means ,"direct to metal" - and lots of black will make it super dark, lighting will be an issue. Worked in an old building that was Grey, after 10yrs of working there, they painted it white, almost needed sunglasses and less droplights. Might do a corner before a final decision is made.
Since you are replacing the old fluorescent fixtures, you ought to install 2X4 drop-in LED panels in the front room. They make great light, and look like dry erase boards when turned off. And you just drop them in any space in the suspended ceiling. You can even move them around easily if your floor plans change. Y'all are doing a great job; looking better all the time. (And the building looks nice, too!)
I put all led shop light in my shop and they are day lite bright and they are amazing two led strips in each fixtures. It’s so bright and I love them !

Stoko Kresto is by far the best hand cleaner I have used....beats everything sold in stores. It cut oils and grease even better than dawn and has walnut shell to scrub and it doesn't dry out my hands. Dawn is great otherwise and is also great for cleaning windows professionally.
The laundry sink at my grandparents old house also had the taps backwards. Alex, it's a utility area it doesn't have to be perfect. It will end up covered in oil soon enough. Glue a sheet splashback in there. And yes it's ADHD progress, but it is progress.
Mix yourself two thirds dishwashing liquid and one third white vinegar for not only an excellent lather, but it's highly effective as it cuts easily through grease and grime, it leaves dishes and car parts sparkling clean... experiment with the ratios until your satisfied with the results!!!
Duct tape on scissor lift main beeper works wonders and cardboard shoved between beeper on the side of joystick controller keeps you from having to shut it off 😎
I always liked the wing widows because our 64 bug didn't have ac. In southern Arizona, it stays well above 100° all summer long. The wing windows could bring in lots of air.

The water coming out is all the existing water in the lines and the tanks... If your putting valves on you will be fine you put compression fittings on. Shop stuff looking good.

Your bathroom sink if for washing already clean hands, the new sink is too nice to get covered in paint when washing brushes, it's for washing dirty greasy hands and arms so you are clean enough to use the bathroom, now you need a big old cast iron sink/tub that you use for the really dirty stuff that is tucked away so no one ever sees, and if you're too dirty for that, it gets the hose again. Lmao
A/C ducts not finished completely, but an amazing job by Nikki Bobby. Plus it will be hidden and so much neater looking. Cabinets not finished being covered!! Poor job performance by Alex. Cars not covered or moved into another section to avoid dust, dirt and future paint over spray. VW Bug kind of started, but abandoned. Sink is totally installed but not mounted to wall because of need for paint and awaiting new cabinets so it can be moved exactly where its needed. Walls above bathroom not done. Door still needs to be made bigger for fork lift to fit in storage room. Ceiling needs to be painted. Walls need to finished and need to be painted. Lights need to be wired and installed all over in the building. Floors need to be polished. I won't mention the rest. BUT LIFE GETS IN THE WAY!! THAT'S OK A LITTLE PROGRESS IS ALWAYS BETTER THEN NO PROGRESS. KEEP PLUGGING AWAY. BEFORE YOU KNOW IT IT WILL BE DONE..
I used to run a flex hose from the heater outlet under the back seat between the seats so I could point it at the windshield for defrost or down to keep my feet warm... it gets damn cold in a bug up here in Alberta in winter lol.

I have painted warehouse ceilings like that and have done rooms in very dark colors and they take far more light for it to seem as bright, so I had the same concern. If the plastic was on a roll, then I might have made the connection. Last night, I watched Dexter and his new partner plastic a hotel room together. They never show him disposing of all that plastic and that stuff takes up much more space than when it is on a roll.......it kind of fluffs up and even the very thin plastic turns into a good size ball to throw away, much like dirt.......yes, it grows into a bigger pile than what is removed, my newer trade with equipment operating. I will be sad when I reach the end of Dexter!

You are going to be surprised how much the building moves the higher from the ground that you get. The building is not rigid. The building flexes. With the paint being freshly applied to the insulation it is very flexible. When freshly applied it flexes easily and initially sticks to the vinyl coating on the insulation. I say all of that to give you this caveat, it will.most likely be 5 to 7 years before you will see any cracks in the paint.
Is that electrical outlet within building code, being that close to the really nice new SS sink you just installed? Also, you may want to get a piece of SS sheet and install it behind that sink for a backsplash.

Things take time.. Venting is good …. Cheaper to rent than to own a lift. Ya can get a better deal renting long term… and you don’t need to shell out $$$ if it needs fixed
One piece windows on a Bug.....a very invasive task that ruins the door and serves no purpose. I put up with mine for a year then i changed the doors to have my vent windows back.

This! Totally agree. Keep the wing windows. They're a feature, not a problem. I've owned a total of 14 VWs, 8 bugs, 4 type 2, and 2 type 3 (also 2 914s), and those with wing windows were so much better in hot weather.

I use diluted Dawn soap at my utility sink because it cuts grease the best and rinses off easily.
Absolutely dawns the way to go cut grease but they use it on ducks and donate

Just keep some drop sheet plastic and a roll of duct tape in the Bug, no worries. A tarp and a couple of bricks are cheap too, heh heh.

Leave the ceiling white. Your mechanics and technicians need as much light as you can give them. There's a significant amount of lumens gained.

If you black out the ceiling it will absorb a lot of light, it will not be as bright for working on things, if that is a factor.
