    That twitching mullet looks good, like Yozuris' gotta try one. Found a cool plastic crab and jig on Amazon to try for tautog up here. Your hogfish vid inspired me. Peace.

    Hi hun...I come out fishing yearly on a vacation ...could you recommend a travel spinning rod and reel...I've googled and don't know where to start..thanks 👍💜

      The uglystick 4-piece rod isn't a bad option.(caught a nice jack on that one) There's also a sougayilang telescopic rod that is sold locally here, and most likely online. They seem like they'll handle most inshore situations quite well.

    what is the weight of your lure compare to your rod?

      Rods lure rating is 1/4oz to 1oz. That lure was 1/4oz. I dont use anything less than that

      @@fishingwithadrian754 my standard set up is 15lb braid with 25lb fluoro leader. That has landed me fish as big as 22 inches no problem

      @@fishingwithadrian754 rarely. I made sure I started using the appropriate rod, and didn't over spool the reel. As long as the lure is over 1/4oz or so, I typically don't get wind knots
