Been to Bermuda three times. The last time I went I met a local who loved my fishing tattoo so much that for three days straight he brought me out of his boats and we fish all over the island and up to 20 miles off the coast. I caught easily over 40 different species of fish and had the best time of my life. On the last day, I decided to keep a deep water triggerfish that was huge for the species and made the best ceviche I have ever had right down the street from the Hamilton Princess Hotel on the seawall. Bermuda is one of the greatest places to go fishing and one of the most expensive places to visit, lol. Great video, whish there was more fishing in it.
The chances of you seeing this is slim to none, but, I want to thank you for being the escape I need to make it through the week. You’re awesome! Love watching your vids, almost feel I’m there, one day I will fish those areas. Many blessings my brother! One day I hope I get to meet you in the other side of the river
It pisses me off that you only have 27k subs but these other trash "fishing" channels that do more bullshitting than actual fishing have hundreds of thousands. Smh. You deserve so much more keep up the good work.
Awesome video! Fishing to snorkeling, underwater footage, jet skiing to feeding the fish and catchin one by hand. Beautiful scenery....keep up the great work! 👍
Hahaha my lady and I done the same thing and the locals has an eye on you. The moment you land that fish. They will be so fast to acted. " Hey are you gonna eat that, if not can I keep it for dinner, " lol best place to fish while on a one week cruise 🙌
It's funny that people make a big deal about the Bermuda Triangle, and yet people go there and don't crash or sink the boat. Yeah the earth is flat too.
yeah its a pretty silly conspiracy. Its not that 100% of the time you go there, something bad will happen. I think its more of a string of coincidences that turned into some BS lore that gets perpetuated. Obviously theres nothing inherently crazy about the earth in that area, its just a handful of events that have been associated with some mysterious voodoo
:/ I would hardly compare natural fluctuations/concentrations of magnetism on par with flat earth conspiracy. You have to also consider that electronics in modern technology are a lot better grounded and shielded, so it makes perfect sense that the issues would decrease.
It is known that over 300 shipwrecks lie on the seafloor surrounding Bermuda that includes prominent ones like The Constellation, The Cristobal Colon, The Mary Celestia, Montana, Xingda and lot more, Alot of people go there yea sure but people still die there yearly
Bermuda is awesome!! Next time head over to the other side (St. George’s). I travel the island by scooter (rental). There’s decent sized barracuda off one of the points there. I used the flashy SP minnow with the black dots. It was the only lure they wanted out of like 30 I brought. Lol. Can’t wait to go back!!!!
Wow, I Could almost see my house at the beginning of the video☺️. Funny enough you’re actually not allowed to fish there; it’s unfortunate because grey snappers, breams and Bermuda chub love to swim under the cruise ships and boats that anchor down in Dockyard. The first fish you caught is def an Amber jack which are DELICIOUS. Anyhow, glad you enjoyed your time here🌴🌺🌊 If you come back you should go out past the shoreline with some locals who will show you all the hot spots where you can catch fish like Rock hind, hog fish, and yellow tail snapper🐟 (that is if you can understand de thick accent we have😉).
This was the video that got me hooked on your channel years ago. The rivers are still bad up here in Indiana. I can't wait to be able o get a line in the water again
In Hawaii we call that a Kahala. On the mainland they call it Amberjack. We don’t usually eat them in Hawaii because they carry ciguatera poisoning a lot.
Man I always wanted to bring a rod on a cruise usually the cruise line and local gov have some agreement how much trouble was bring the fishing rod I went on allure of the seas last year
4:07 is either a juvenile Amber jack or an Almaco jack 7:38 are a whole lot of reef fish scutch as parrotfish, yellow wrasse and small fish that I don’t know of 8:28 is a lot of Sargent Major, which are the little ones with black and yellow stripes, there are grey snapper, yellow striped grunt, which are the pure yellow fish and there are Cubs 10:45 are only chubs, but there might be more fish in the shot I didn’t see
Where you on the st George's side by the causeways. Or where you going the Hamilton side. That island is incredible Elbow beach is awesome. I also remember The Swizzle inn right by the blue grotto caves. Just a awesome place to visit and fish.
Ive been right where youre fishing by that pirate boat bar, had some drinks and jumped off the plank water is so clear and beautiful, wish i had know i could fish there i had a rod with me
That's the old Nine Beaches resort at 9:41, I stayed there for my honeymoon back in 2007, I saw an "abandoned" video on it recently, I guess it's been closed down for a few years now. I stayed in one of those villas on stilts right by the boat near shore.
I love Bermuda been there 3 times and I always wanted to bring a fishing pole with how many fish are in those waters! We rented mopeds and some locals were fishing on an island less then 30 feet off shore. They invited my wife and I to lunch and eat the fish they just caught. Extremely nice people over there!
Those fish you start feeding bread to at 10:20 are called Bermuda Chub, Rudder Fish, or here in Hawai'i Nenue, and they are extremely strong fighters on light tackle. They will bite bread (obviously) and also the brown Sargasso seaweed. Too bad you didn't bring a rod. We usually eat these raw filleting but never gut first as the digesting seaweed in the stomach can taint the flesh. We make a dish called "Poke" (po'-keh) cubing the flesh then adding sea salt, onions, and chili peppers. Try it if you dare. Aloha.
