they arent if you dont have much desk place to place a full sized PC, also they have better cooling than gaming laptops, which means they wont thermal throttle or shutdown from overheating
@@jbjuhibiv1047 You can build small ITX PCs if you really don't have a lot of space, but honestly I can't image a scenario where you can't fit a desktop PC. Unless you're living in a micro apartament, though they're not a thing in my country so I can't relate.
Anyway normal PC can be upgraded and holds value longer. It's also easier to sell it, since you can sell each part separately and keep it useful for as long as you want, since you don't need to replace everything at once.
Desktop PCs are the most convenient way to use a computer in the long run and they're quiet, since you can install larger coolers that are affordable (40 USD or less).
As for small PC you can get used thin client really cheap (home server or Batocera retro gaming) or brand new one with Intel N100 for about 100 USD. These are very energy efficient and fast enough for most desktop tasks and 4K video playback and some lightweight gaming.
I have an alienware x17 r2 i9 3070ti, the thing screams when gaming and is CONSTANTLY sitting at 100° when gaming. Is it worth upgrading to the atomman over this? I got a laptop because my house cant handle the full power of a gaming pc (its a very old house on a 60amp circut) is this a good pc to upgrade to?
Maybe if an intel Ultra9 version comes out....
the ultras arent really for gaming plus they have lower specs than the regular intel core i versions
Man.. if only it was ryzen
there's already ryzen version available with weaker gpu. atom man g7 pt
Whats wrong with intel mate
decent price...about 1400 bucks if you get the upgraded RAM
@ETAPRIME I am interested in purchasing the Minisform AtomMan G7 Ti SE. I already had the previous model, the MINISFORUM NUCxi7. Unfortunately, the NUCxi7 did not have the Wake on LAN function. However, Wake on LAN is very important for me.
Does the AtomMan G7 Ti SE have the Wake on LAN function?
Kind regards
So yeah, there’s no way any laptop at this price point is able to run games with a 4070 at 140w and staying under 65c
hey, just wanted to point out that chimeraos unstable is working on nvidia cards, its really buggy, but its working
Where can i purchase this?
Do you have any suggestions for the best rtx mini nuc pc that has silent fans or if you could compare all of them side by side to which is most quiet
Where to buy & how to buy for 220v?
What is the video running in the background from 2:31? It looks absolutely gorgeous!
What if they added a built in screen and keyboard. Then they might have something.
Does this have USB-C or Thunderbolt out? I use a Studio Display as my main display which has USB-C inputs.
