I believe there is no airflow at all in the mobo chamber? what about the temps of the nvme, rams, and other component on the mobo. I know ram won't get hot but it surely get warm in long periods of gaming or editing/rendering. With traditional PC case fan there will be some airflow moving around the mobo either its exhaust or intake configuration. but this configuration seems like its only focussing on the radiator for cpu and not pulling any warm air from the mobo side. edit: I just noticed at 0:10 there is holes for air from the mobo chamber to be pulled through by the fan, resulting hot air from nvme and ram to be exhausted. Would love to see the nvme and ram temp
Beautiful vid! Running furmark and cinebench at the same time would have been cool to see - that way you know if the whole system could thermal throttle.
It would be interesting to look at the processor temperature in Cinebench if the processor did not have a core frequency limit. So that the cores work at least at 5.0-5.2 Ghz, and not at 4.6 Ghz. It's just that if there really is a frequency limit, then it's not surprising that the processor temperature and its consumption are low… And a 2-section radiator will take 100 watts from the processor without any problems. Although I want to pay tribute to the fan.
That price and the handle isn't trustworthy to hold the weight in your opinion? I wish SFF cases manufacturers would actually include solid handles if they decide to add one at all. Seems hard to find a good mini case with a trustworthy handle.
An incredibly beautiful design and a very nice presentation. If I knew that i could switch to this system by just purchasing a case, I would buy it immediately.A new system needs to be assembled.
It's a great ad but it would be nice to see a comparison with a more traditional sandwich case (with two top fans on a water cooler radiator). Does this "innovative" cooling system even make sense? You can get the Shiny Snake (KXRORS) S450, this case is much smaller and cheaper, or any sandwich case with water cooling on top.
This is probably one of my favorite cases to see people build in. It is extremely unique and if I had the money this would probably be the case I would pick.
Can you order a replacement fan to go with it? I would feel better having a replacement ready to go. If so what does a replacement cost? Do they offer a fancier fan? You couldn't rotate the PSU 90 degrees? To face the modular connections towards the board?
@@devyn.johnston that is a red flag if I've ever read one. Given the price of the case I cannot imagine getting a replacement fan in 2-3 years would be cheap, or possible if they decide to stop stocking them.

You should also definitely checkout the XTIA Xproto-ATX Case V2. It is an SFF open frame (17L) that can house an ATX motherboard. I have one for over 2 years now
It's just poorly designed. If you look at the website they say it is machined by a 4 axis CNC out of solid aluminum. There is absolutely no benefit to that, and I imagine those design choices are where most of the cost comes from.
@@DeathendYou’re semi wrong. They state the main case body is aluminium extrusion. Now *that’s* expensive (though China is supposedly fairly cheap for getting custom extrusion forms produced). I assume the front and back plates are machined, as well as whatever small components the case has. The main body is also overworked to put all the cutouts in it. This case is produced as cheaply as this design can be (and any other design would be less stable)
This isn't new I actually had this same fan in my Falcon North West Computers "FragBox" not the current and still.old model but the original...the tubular , cylinder fan was too notch. Yet that was over 25 yrs or more now ...glad to see it's being used again
people really don't understand how business works. ATX is simply more popular, you can order your units in larger batches saving you money, you can keep a surplus in stock because you know they will sell, which means your product will be less expensive. SFF pcs are not all that popular, ordering larger batches and keeping them in a warehouse unsold makes no sense, the cases will need to be ordered in smaller quantities, costing you more, which means the customer is going to pay more. Some of the most popular SFF cases are under $200 btw (for example the Lian Li A4-H20 is $150), and there are so many under $100, you just won't see the later reviewed on YT.
The fan doesn't seem super effective, Like i think they could keep a similar case design but have it built so you can Slide a rad in the top and a rad below and just have an airflow from Bottom out the top and keep the same Duel chamber design with the GPU at the back and make the case like 20-40mm taller for more cable room and you're good
There is no customer base that is more gullible than "enthusiasts" lmao. 550 bucks for an aluminum case is just insane. This costs probably less than 50 bucks to make. In addition, the "crossflow fan" is stupid and gimmicky, and it's not even good. You can cool a 240mm radiator with two 120mm fans. On their website they say it maintains a "quiet" 40db noise level under load. That's TWICE the noise of the Noctua NF-A12x25. So the competition is cheaper, probably more cooling-effective, and quieter. Why does this product exist?
y'all complain about everything. This case is made by a smaller company, and the amount of innovation here is impressive. From the lever to plug in the GPU, the case shape, the fan, the CNC hinges etc... You can't expect a small company to charge the prices of huge companies. To make a decent profit, they have to charge a lot. You guys complain about companies not paying their workers enough, then turn around and bash companies that charge prices that are necessary to pay properly. This case is NOT for everyone. You decide whether or not to buy it, but the price is not unreasonable for what it is. An innovative, niche PC case. Few will buy it, thus its more expensive.
Well said. The problem with today’s society is that everyone wants everything for nothing. I bet no one would be able to replicate this case for hundreds of dollars less, even at volume. You’ll lose either quality, features or fair employment.
F-ck them shitty small greedy companies then. Cause this isn't even worth 200$. Ingenious mounting? Really? A LEVER THAT A 7 YEAR OLD CAME COME UP WITH?
I think a cross flow fan installable right in front of the GPU would be great. I have my case horizontal, so all the GPU heat collects against the glass
I feel like so much could be done by changing the ITX layout or even how the whole cpu gpu combo is designed. Single board computers with with swapable gpu dies, or mobos with gpu mounting ports on the back that are much closer physically to the cpu. The pci-e extention cable is a major source of latency in communication between gpu and cpu. And depending on your application can cause stuttering. Not to mention it tends to fail often if you swap gpus a bit. SBC's is probably the future. Apple is leading the way there with their Arm based M chips. I really wouldn't be surprised if the windows platform followed soon, and eventually almost all pcs would be SBC. hopefully with replaceable parts.
The case is beautiful and seems well put together, but I'd be a lot more comfortable if they put in a 92x15mm intake slot hidden under the PSU to allow it to breathe better and allow the double cycle fan to exhaust the excess heat, PSU's are very important to keep cool, especially with higher end, power hungry components. 😅😅
I think my main issue with this is the design forces you to put the case on the left side of the desk. If your like me with a big mousepad this may not fit on your desk.
So this is a case that will give you a big headache when you clean the dust on this fan and will give you an additional headache if the fan breaks and needs to be replaced.
I was looking for top exhaust fans for a T1 this morning and asked myself "why don't people make tower fan style blades for these?". I figured someone surely tried and maybe they didn't perform as well or were louder etc. Crazy this video dropped around the same time!
they overcharge that much to help compensate for the crazy amount of R&D that goes into making a product like this. especially for a small company thats not exactly equipped for such ventures. but at least we have some brands that are taking the leap to hopefully help designs like this become more mainstream
I wished you talked more about the fan like is the motor can be replaced with standard/generic ones or when it broke you buy the whole motor+blades from the manufacturer or buy another whole case because 450bucks is no joke.
It's a very interesting design and I'm impressed by the temperatures, but the price is insane and what happens if that weird fan dies? How much does a replacement unit cost and do they sell it as stand alone? I'd rather stick to conventional cooling.
To those complaining about the price this is a product developed by 1 guy investing into this to make it a product in the market. Everyone wants the small guy to win but don’t wanna pay the price they need to make profit after time, material, and development
I asked about replacements fans in case something breaks and I'm told there is a 1 year warranty. If something goes wrong they will replace the fan. After the warranty expires there will be an option to purchase a new one if you need to.

But I really love the way it is! I guess it is all down to personal preference, so it’s nice they offer some optional front panel
What FPS / hardware monitoring tool are you using in game? Looks clean AF
its msi afterburner. you can customise the looks of it, he already dropped a vid on how he customised it to get that look and I'm using the same style. just look it up
I believe there is no airflow at all in the mobo chamber? what about the temps of the nvme, rams, and other component on the mobo.
SO neat on the desktop , Neat & Tidy Build , Big Fan
That price and the handle isn't trustworthy to hold the weight in your opinion? I wish SFF cases manufacturers would actually include solid handles if they decide to add one at all. Seems hard to find a good mini case with a trustworthy handle.
Building starts at 2:00
An incredibly beautiful design and a very nice presentation.
Cool idea, bet you can use that space between the mobo and the psu to put a small res and do a neat loop
Glad that awesome (and affordable) lcd cooler is getting some love :)
If it breaks there’s a 1 year warranty and they will replace it for free. After that they offer a way to buy a replacement.
@@devyn.johnston that is a red flag if I've ever read one. Given the price of the case I cannot imagine getting a replacement fan in 2-3 years would be cheap, or possible if they decide to stop stocking them.
@@devyn.johnston550$ and only 1 year warranty, kinda crazy 💀 I just replaced my 70$ corsair psu after 4.9 years of use (fan broke), they have 5 years warranty. For 550$ minimum warranty should be like 3 years.
You should also definitely checkout the XTIA Xproto-ATX Case V2. It is an SFF open frame (17L) that can house an ATX motherboard. I have one for over 2 years now
Imagine your younger sibling getting mad at you while you’re gaming and they just unplug the GPU riser by flipping the switch
Super neat. I really want something like this, but for custom loop liquid cooling. But I really like it
This case is absolutely not worth the money. Companies like this are responsible for jacking up the cost of virtually every hobby out there.
It's just poorly designed. If you look at the website they say it is machined by a 4 axis CNC out of solid aluminum.
There is absolutely no benefit to that, and I imagine those design choices are where most of the cost comes from.
Wrong, morons who buy this overpriced stuff are the ones responsible.
@@Deathendholy shit thats a lot of shavings
SFF manufacturers: 1000000000000 dollars because unique.
ATX manufacturers: super high quality, good fans and beautiful. Under 200.
people really don't understand how business works.
@retrorevival1 Visit China. Go and have a tour of case manufacturers. You'll quickly see how greed makes unique cases inaccessible.
NCASE M2 and Fractal Tera are both S-Tier ITX cases for ~$165
Looks nice, but cable management is a turn off, cables look messy.
when my friend refers to his "only fan" case I was not thinking this 🤣
8:52 what is that app which display cpu gpu temps etc?
I use cpuidHWmonitor
He made a video about that overlay. It is a custom made overlay
Title of the video:
''Minimalist In-Game Overlay (MSI Afterburner Tutorial)''
@@jacobfromerth4589 i meant the one is on top of ur monitor IN the game(overlay). I googled it and one u mentioned doesnt have that feature
@@vladyslav.hlynianyi then refer to emiel’s comment, CPUID doesn’t have that feature
The fan doesn't seem super effective, Like i think they could keep a similar case design but have it built so you can Slide a rad in the top and a rad below and just have an airflow from Bottom out the top and keep the same Duel chamber design with the GPU at the back and make the case like 20-40mm taller for more cable room and you're good
yeah...i'll stick to my CM 200NR...similar temps with a price tag $375 cheaper
absolutely love the background music in this one
Fantastic well engineered case.
yes, great case. but you can cool all the stuff with silent fans when you understand that hot air is moving upwards. nothing to gain here.
Really cool idea, could be the future of case design. But why no dust filter or even a grill on the top?
mom! they put the home air conditioning cylinder fan in an sff!
the most beautiful build I've seen this year
Did you purchase the case, or did you get a test sample?
There is no customer base that is more gullible than "enthusiasts" lmao. 550 bucks for an aluminum case is just insane. This costs probably less than 50 bucks to make.
In addition, the "crossflow fan" is stupid and gimmicky, and it's not even good. You can cool a 240mm radiator with two 120mm fans. On their website they say it maintains a "quiet" 40db noise level under load. That's TWICE the noise of the Noctua NF-A12x25. So the competition is cheaper, probably more cooling-effective, and quieter. Why does this product exist?
What's worse about that fan is it's 1 year warranty. Doesn't show a lot of confidence.
y'all complain about everything.
Innovation? This technology has existed for so long that I can go buy a shitty $15 tower fan at a local department store.
Good thing we are all entitled to an opinion. It looks cool, but it is rather expensive
Bro im so cooked i only relised im watching a sponsership after it was done💀
it is beautiful. I thought it was 200 cap. but seeting the price, I will probably not even thinking of looking back.
I think a cross flow fan installable right in front of the GPU would be great. I have my case horizontal, so all the GPU heat collects against the glass
With those close up shots of handling the case, if you whispered instead of apoke this would be a sweet ASMR PC video.
Any other case more afordable with same size? I've space issue on my desk and apartment..
DANA4 or just get a deepcool CH160 or NR200
we dismantling an air cooler with this one
Woah just WOAH! DENSE and to the point video, I LIKE IT
Where would one find a cross flow fan? If some SFF cases have space on the top of the case, it would be good
Hi, what is the cordless screwdriver you used in the deepcool ch160 video? Wanting to get one, thanks
looks pretty awesome but the price is not
That's really genius, putting the tools to get inside the case inside the case. hahaha
It's like SAW, "Thank you for purchasing, I want to play a game...."
what about this vs nr200p max?
Thank you for your valuable review.
Would it not make sense to intake air from the side and blow it out the top? Considering hot air rises,
I think my main issue with this is the design forces you to put the case on the left side of the desk. If your like me with a big mousepad this may not fit on your desk.
those temps are unbelievable. My meshlicious sff is getting into the 70's and theres more breathing room in it than this. Super impressive
They should *really* consider putting a spare fan in the box lol
what software are you using for the OSD infos during gaming. it looks super tidy
0 static pressure
what software are you using to show the temp etc at the top of the screen?
I wished you talked more about the fan like is the motor can be replaced with standard/generic ones or when it broke you buy the whole motor+blades from the manufacturer or buy another whole case because 450bucks is no joke.
now all we need is a better company to come along and create a similar case for half the price or even better, half of half! lmfao.
How the only special fan compares to two Noctua fans on the radiator? Is it any quieter? I would doubt that....
It's a very interesting design and I'm impressed by the temperatures, but the price is insane and what happens if that weird fan dies? How much does a replacement unit cost and do they sell it as stand alone? I'd rather stick to conventional cooling.
Dope case but $500 is insane
In case anyone is curious, this is 15.2 liters.
300 is the max, I'm willing to spend on ITX case.
For this price, I'd want an extra fan or two for when this one inevitably goes.
Would you mind sharing your temp/FPS counter config used in games? I like that layout.
I would buy this case honeslty. The design is genius
What monitor are you using? It looks sick:)
there is nothing compete against Formd T1 case
Depends on how big your GPU is :)
To those complaining about the price this is a product developed by 1 guy investing into this to make it a product in the market.
Everyone wants the small guy to win but don’t wanna pay the price they need to make profit after time, material, and development
just when I was thinking there is lack of innovation in PC cases
