Yewww!
Sup joshie
Loving the videos Josh. Love the way you explain how you work the lures.
Hahah thanks David🙌🏼👌🏼
You need waders or waterproof kayaking pants with waterproof socks for those cold winter days. I admire your dedication to get out there in such bad weather.
🤣 nothing better than wet trackies, socks and shoes
Love these type of videos. Very few actually show how each lure needs to be retrieved. Burrill Lake is an amazingly beautiful spot. Ive caught my PB Fattie from there coming in at 74cm.
I have watched this video so many times and I love it you are so talented and inspiring to watch keep up the good work ok
What a legend! Love your work mate keep it up, its a fresh take on videos.
Good to see the next generation out and about having a flick.
Tight lines brother 🤙
Yeww cheers Phillip. Sorry about the late reply🤦🏼
Happy i found your channel Josh :) good vibes
Thanks matey🙌
Brilliant challenge. It’s tough fishing in the rain but when you get results it makes it worthwhile. Keep up the excellent work.
Cheers

Good video bud . I love me some double clutches . I like trolling them too 👍

Hahah thanks Jimjim. The water here coming into winter is getting pretty damn cold😂
Great video mate, good job.

Onya bruv 👌🏽👌🏽
i like this style of video
Nice video mate. Time for an upgrade and go atleast a double bed.. 😉
75 Double clutch is the go 🤙
I usually use the 95mm double clutch. Just used the smaller one for the vid since it was given to me
Fire content keep it up
Will do cheers mat
Mad vid bro🤙
awesome vid bro well done for the followers keep up the great work bro
Hey Josh you should try the 3 inch gulp prawn the flathead and brim love them
I’ve used it before. Not a huge fan of gulp just because of the scent, and how easy they break
@@joshdfishing yeah that is true. Have you tried 3 inch atomic proms in the colour radioactive rooster
Cheers Mate.
You should try biggest soft plastic vs smallest soft plastic. Your contents great
When you started driving I was like wtf your old enough to drive you look like you 13/14 hahahaha
😔
Great content champ! Keep up the good work.
Hey mate, love the channel great lures DC I've got salmon and slimy Mack so far, for the ZX40 perfect lure for whiting highly recommend it, the same can be said for the hardz 38 perfect for bream salmon and whiting, slowly moving away from bait 😅
Just subbed to help you get 10k🥳🥳🥳
Great vid mate, I won't give that spot away, I tryed that area came up with nothing but donuts, is that something you do regularly, walk in the water to cast to deeper water, or to structures like that boat for fish.
Yeah I usually wear long pants and shoes with socks in the water. Every land based session. I end up getting wet around my knee area😂
Thanks Josh, looks like I need to get into the water if I'm going to land base
fish down that way, have noticed many of the lakes and in that part of the Australia are very shallow on the edges, very hard to cast to the deeper waters unless you get in, thank mate.
hey mate good video hope to see more from u. And what leader knot u use.
Cheers Bradley. I use the double uni knot. Simple and strong
I love your videos
i love your videos keep it up!
Cheers cam mate❤️
Don't know what's next on your shopping list but, a pair of waders should be right up there.
Nah if you ain’t got wet trackies and socks. Your doing it wrong🤣
Wait whattttt I thought you were like 13 didn't know you could drive. Awesome content smashin' it as always mate 🔥
thinking the same thing
🤣
hey the metal lure u bought was the same lure as my dads i lost that day
Yeah I know hahah. I still remember that
Hey man, what waterway systems u fish in your videos. Love your content and I cant quite pinpoint the area
I fish a bunch of different water ways around my little town
try the MMD splash prawn.
I have before I lost mine in a tree. They work a treat aye
Hey mate can u please try Davidson park, perhaps u can catch some fish there
Thanks josh
No worries bro I hope you enjoyed
I had a meter plus queeny grab my atomic but it had a 10 second run and the hooks were straitened I had a stradic 1000 6lb braid and 12 lb leader I was just going for bream of the rock ledge it was like 2 meters deep but choppy
Hey josh would you recommend braid or fluorocarbon line on a new reel? I want to be able to skip soft plastics and cast with light soft plastics?
Nice vid mate 👍 what size was the double clutch
Nice work 👌🏼
Thanks I hope you enjoyed
Just on the eco gear vibe, ive lost heaps of fish on those little hooks, solved it by adding a straight eye lure hook to the split ring.
Thanks alleycat. I’ll look into it. Thanks for the feedback🤙🏼😁
Well done mate, what river system are you fishing?
Also that 60mm Double Clutch in Ghost Wakasagi is my favourite lure for the freshwater down here when chasing Estuary Perch and Bass
I fish a wholeeee bunch of estuarys around my small town. There is about 4
can you please try a Zman Trd Crawz?
What's the set up you are fishing on here mate, if you don't mind me asking? Looking for something similar
In Victoria is it good for the same lures?
What a great fishing spot! Any reason why you wouldn't use a snap swivel instead of re tying lures all the time?
Personally I think snap swivels interrupt with the lures movement. And it makes the profile not as real. I know people that have succes with them. But I’m not a fan👍🏼
@@joshdfishing yeah I used to think that. I use them when squid fishing and they work fine and calamari have the best eyes in the sea too lol,(use small size of course) your vids are on point👍
@@shannontogo6538 Hi , could you tell me what "Small" means :) ?
@@spayrex_I think he means a small snap swivel
@@spayrex_ Search for "decoy round snap" on BCF, they go down to a 000 size (12lb breaking strain) and are tiny. Not a lot bigger than a knot you would tie. Larger sizes have higher breaking strain. I have tried them and I believe they do the job without upsetting the lure action but they are fiddly due to their size and if you get good at the knots you don't save much time. Maybe saves your leader getting shorter every time you change lures but you lose them in the snags all the same. They are $7 for 13 so give them a go if you're curious.
Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.
Hahah a fish took my rod in the water and I managed to catch my own rod again
What are the chances😂
years ago my mum hooked onto a line one end a 40cm bream the other end was the rod and reel still attached
Think you ment long Tom rather than garfish. Garfish have no teeth long Tom have teeth like barracuda , big fan of your vids
How long does it take to save up for your gear
Is that Burril lake
good old bunnings unbrella
Hey josh, What's the best lure/soft plastic in your opinion for flatty fishing
I think we have the same reel could you just tell me whar type of reel you have please mate?
You think that's bad weather, you should come to England that's the best wether we get
What size jig head are you using?
Hey mate what chubby you reckon will be bream killer?
you should have got the atomic in muddy prawn
I just started fishing at port Phillip bay with lures. We usually get a lot of snapper, some bream and flathead. I’m fairly new to lures in general so do you have any recommendations? Thanks
What leader knot you use ?
Oi u should go fishing with miller wilson
Do you prefer bait or luire
So what braid do you have exactly ? The G5 or the 4X or another ?
What do u film on ????
GoPro hero 9. And a Sony camera
Twisty pls day 1
what rod r u using?
Mate, I need to know! How do you have a drivers license at 13!?!?
where do u fish
South coast of nsw
What water ways are you fishing
The reason he stopped UA-cam is because people kept going to his spots
How old is he driving that car around ?
He’s 19
What brand braid and lb are u using bud
Shimano kairiki and fc rock leadet
@@joshdfishing oh okay thanks for the mate lovely set up that u have bud 👌🏻
Nice petrol cap
😂
Spinner bait
Use powerBait nemesis
It’s a challenge but at the same time not because they are all good lures
Very true
How old are you I'm just curious cause your voice sounds a little high pitched to be driving a car
18….
If you dont mind me asking how old are you, you seem to know a lot
No one gonna talk about how this kid is driving?
He’s 19
Ain’t no way
no way you lost and found a atomic
Can I have one of your lures pls??????????
How old are you?
