As an electronic engineer I would respectfully suggest that you check all samples when they are at the same temperature as putting the measuring device in boiling water can affect its accuracy due to it being at a raised temperature.

TDS meters can be very inaccurate and this test should be done at room temperature, but if you do as you suggest you will see the result, since this video its been done thousands of times by people. Worse than using your kitchen hot tap, a bad solution

Yeah you can see the tds meter struggling to settle as it moves between the hot and cold. Again this is just TDS and they are all well within the limits for tap water.

@@OsmioWaterH2O I think, traditionally, we don't drink from the "hot" tap is that it used to have a storage tank inline and so risked being contaminated. The hot water tanks are generally held at just over 55C to keep the bacteria down so with that and sitting warm water in the pipes it's generally not a highly safe source. I would imaging that the extra TDS is coming from limescale in the tank but I don't know. Will be interesting to see your lab tests of what is actually happening rather than this shouting about it being heavy metals with no clue.

@@choffee doing a alkali or heavy metals test on the water coming out of the tap would be very easy for you to do. Also this is why coffee machine manufacturers supply and sell spare heating elements because of corrosion and scale build up.

Why are you all not compare it to the kettle boiled water? It's like comparing snow flakes to the rain.

A kettle doesn't keep water hot all the time under pressure but with a kettle you can see the corrosion

@@mariuszj1200 because people see the kettle every time they use it so if there is alot of limescale or corrosion, or both, then it's obvious, but not in a sealed unit that is keeping water always hot, it's like drinking and cooking with the hot water tap in your kitchen, except it is alot worse!

Boil, cool, boil, cool, boil... if you want an energy efficient solution for boiling water in the home, wait for the kettle to boil. If you want a high consumption, catering solution, buy a BURCO boiler. A tried and tested solution since 1938. Save some money and baby seals while your at it!
I assume that your ‘Osmio’ unit uses the same heat cycling principle, but has a ceramic coated element (not the tank I’m guessing) so how is it any different?
If you want the purest possible option for the home, re-fill your existing kettle with as much water as you need each time you use it. Which is what most people do anyway.
