One Christmas, my dad got one of his friends to dress like Santa and pretend he was sitting and eating on our big couch. So my dad and my mom woke all of my family up to sneak down our stairs to see him. I will never forget that Christmas ever.

Our family Christmas tradition is a bit different. We don’t sleep until morning to open presents, we stay up and wait out Christmas Eve to open gifts and then we go to bed at 3 in the morning. The whole gathering was a night owl fest!

Christmas really hits different once you get older. As a kid it was always so magical having the whole family gather around by the tree and be surprised when opening gifts.
Now it's just like "Oh yeah give me some money and maybe like a book or something, I don't need anything special" and it just feels like basically any other day.

I've felt this feeling, but i am in my teenage years, heck, i didn't even want nothing in specific, maybe it's not the day's fault, maybe, things change, you start growing up, you start getting more serious in life if it school or not, but sometimes, if you wanted something in specific for Christmas, and you got it, the feeling will come back, but last time it happened was when I got my 2ds and my two games, anyways, merry Christmas ( even though it ended).

It's insane how time has passed. I was some years older when I realised the efforts my parents had to go through to give us (the kids) the christmas we wanted. Now I'm 31 years old and about to 'celebrate' the first christmas eve where my dad isn't there. For all of you people out there able to celebrate this with both of your parents, please make sure that they feel appreciated and look them in the eyes when you thank them.

The ending is very true. But honestly, whole video makes me feel an appreciation for all the effort my parents put into all of my presents over the years. Don't enjoy Christmas as much anymore, I work and have college and all that, but hey at least now I can share some of the joy I used to get as a kid with my little sister and other family.

One christmas I actually really enjoyed was 2008. I got Gears of War 2 and me and my dad spent an entire day playing it, to the point it was already nighttime when we got somewhat far in the game. We did this I think 2 more times until we finally beat the game. It was a time I'll never forget.
I love how he is using a silenced pistol, even though that wasn't in Halo 3 multiplayer until MCC. Still good video though.
It's more easier to record MCC on PC than digging out the Old 360 and hook up a capture card just to record something that a lot of people are not going to notice
@@camygael I think his point is that he could have used any other gun but decided to use one of the only two guns in the entire Halo 3 sandbox to not be in the original game.
It was just easier to get original footage of halo 3 from mcc, not to mention the map he is playing on came out a month ago

2010, my parents got me an Xbox 360 instead of the PS3 I wanted. I was disappointed but I understood that the 360 was $150 cheaper at the time for the holidays. That’s what got me into GTA IV, Forza Motorsport, and Gears of War. I’m 24 now and I still thank my parents for all the Xmas gifts they’ve worked hard to give me.

I’ll never forget when I got my white 360 for Christmas. It came with the forza motorsport 2 and marvel alliance combo and my dad got me halo 3 as well. Literally will never forget those days.
Now I’m 25 and from December 20th to January 3rd is literally a living hell for me every year. Happy holidays everyone.

This video was great. The only thing that broke my immersion was showing footage of Iceboxn which didn't exist until it was made for MCC. But still a great video otherwise. Makes me appreciate all the work my father and mother put in to afford presents for me as a kid.

brother almost died christmas morning, we have a tradition of waking up at like 5 in the morning and look at our presents then get our stockings head up to our play room and all check out our stuff and have a great time. brother started choking on a sourpatch kid from his stalking my older sis and bro screamed for our parents but i didnt know what to do. I was 6 at the time and horrified and so all i could do was punch my brother in the stomach hoping it would come out after a bit we got it out of him. Great christmas besides that i got a 2ds

One Christmas, my sister got tangled, and we watched it that night with a lot of popcorn. m&ms, and reeses cups. It instantly became one of me and my family's movies. My mom said that was a present for all of us after watching it, because she didn't expect to like it that much. Those were good times.

One Christmas when I was 8 years old, we had divorced parents, and you know what that meant. Two Christmases. So when I went to my mom's house on Christmas Eve, at the time she had a douchey boyfriend who had his friend over as well. He seemed nice at first, or that's what I thought. All was well, my mom bought me a Nicktoons Christmas DVD, and I was watching all episodes non stop, over and over. Then later that night, 3am on Christmas Day, I woke up out of the blue. I walked down the hall into the living room, and you know who I saw?
My mom's douchebag boyfriend's friend, drunk out of his mind peeing all over the Christmas tree. And moaning very loudly too. By Christmas morning, Mom had to replace all of the presents piss coated wrapping with clean wrapping. And thus, her douchebag boyfriend's drunk friend was never allowed over again. And I'm permanently scarred from that event.
I now refer to that night as "Pissmas."

Hey my family's financial Situation didn't blow up until I was 15 or so (mom graduated college) so we couldn't really afford a gaming pc or games for me until then and trust me you got a SHIT tone of memories you're yet to make. Those years feel like a life time to me now
When I was little every morning on Christmas we would put the gifts in different piles (there was 3 of us) and we would all wait until we were all ready and bolt down the stairs to see them. The magic of seeing what you got at the same time your siblings did was truly magical and something I miss now that my brother is at college and I’m older now.
I got Halo 3 over the summer it came out, but I do have another special nostalgic game I remember being extremely about existing, Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
My friends and I LOVED Melee. We would play it in several ways. Pokeballs only, all items, or roleplay as the characters. When I first saw Brawl, I was unbelievably excited and wanted it more than anything. I begged my parents, and for Christmas I ended up getting it. At some point I wanted to reveal to my friends that I got the game, so I set it up in the living room and played a fake out on them. I picked Temple, I picked characters that were in Melee, I wanted to hit them with the double whammy when they realized it was the new Smash game. In short, we played it to death and loved everything about it.

Christmas was way too stressful when I was younger, everyone watching me looking for a reaction. I always felt like everything given to me was taken for granted, every present I opened released a wave of guilt.

I miss the christmas feeling i would get every december. At start of every december i counted when it's going to be christmas, play christams songs everyday and in the christmas day i couldn't wait to unpack my presents. It was a strange feeling that i can not express. Nowdays christmas gets way faster than back then and now there isn't any magic in it.
