Donald Glover always seems so serious in interviews but in this, he seems so bright and cheery like its almost like he's playing troy again.
David North that’s who he really is, he’s a comedian and writer and this gig was one of his come up gigs before he was so big. His step out of UA-cam, people forget that Donald was a UA-cam darling before anything else.

Allison Brie's enthusiasm in this and all through out the show is really admirable. Everyone's kept talking about how busy Donald is but Allison Brie has shot up to fame too and she managed to have the same level of eagerness. I guess that goes to show how tight knit this cast are.
Yeah I love how Allison and Donald are such big stars now but they’re still so happy to be here. It warms my heart.
I think she as much as anyone else had the time of her fucking life on that show. If you watch the bloopers, she seems like the best person to be around because her enthusiasm is infectious.

I never outgrew him. I would still love for Pierce to be shoehorned into the movie somehow, although it doesn't seem very likely considering how things went for his character and in real life.

Donald as a musician is a very different person than Donald as a part of community. He’s so happy and smiley and making jokes I love this so much. I hope he’s doing well.
I think that's partially due to the fact that within Community, he can really truly be collaborative and have fun while doing so. His comedic side is sort of suppressed while he's on his music side. He's also exposing himself alot more musically in my opinion rather than with his comedy cast. He can have fun and not try as hard and sit back and play with others. Be silly. 😂
ninikee456 I fully agree. He’s so talented in so many different ways and it blows my mind how diverse he is in the arts. It just makes me so happy to see him so happy. He’s very serious about his music and as great as that is, it’s fun to see him have fun.
I feel like a lot of people forget that he was a comedian doing stand up and web shows and community before he was known as this musically gifted, show-runner, director savante that people now know. This was how I knew him first and it did hurt seeing that he became unhappy towards the end. He talked about 'losing people', and the show was so abused by the network and background drama that I don't blame him for being over it.

I cannot emphasize how much I love these people. Community brought such genuine happiness and joy to my life, even in the darkest of timelines, community was one of the things that genuinely brought nonstop smiles and laughs out of me. This was a show like no other. I love and enjoy many shows, but community was something else. Thank you all for bringing this show to our lives. I still haven’t been able to rewatch the last episode. Little by little I was able to rewatch the episodes after Troy left in season 5. Then after a couple of years I was able to watch season 6 again. But I haven’t worked up the courage to watch that last episode. You guys are so loved.

The boat Troy leaves the show on to fulfill Pierce's wishes is the Childish Tycoon. Found it interesting when he got Childish Gambino from the rap name generator. It is all connected! Donald Glover is a god damn hugely talented human. All of the Community cast are just amazing people! Love they are doing this!

It just needed proper exposure. It was the same with Newsradio. NBC just shuffled it around and people couldn't find it, but in syndication it found an audience. Also, I think the Russo Brothers being involved may have attracted people's attention. "You mean the guys that did the last two Avengers films did a comedy show?
@@Paulafan5 and then they find out its also created by the same guy as rick and Morty and has a bunch of recognizable faces in the cast. Like you said, the show is so objectively good all it needed was a way to reach a lot of people and it's was bound to start getting a spotlight!

Maybe not having a big budget is one of the reasons why the show was so great.. forced them to be extra creative

Yeah, I genuinely that's how to make a good movie/show/whatever. If you can do whatever you don't try as hard, have restrictions and limitations? You have to try. You have to be creative. You care more about what you're creating. The blanket/pillow fort documentary and the bottle episode are some of my favourite episodes and they came about because of money issues.
Yeah but the show is infamous for going over budget for there big episodes like the paintball wars for example.
Rory Fox your right that they went over for things like paintball but their bottle episodes like dnd balanced out their budget for the most part. Season six is looked at as expensive since it sent Yahoo streaming into debt but it actually wasn’t terrible it was just that Yahoo’s streaming service never had a lot of followers and picking up community didn’t save it.
The most underrated show of all time, so ridiculous and funny but still so heartfelt and caring, hope there’s a movie

Love it. It's one if my many rewatch shows. Futurama is pretty underrated as well. It's got some crazy emotional scenes in between the nonsense.
Andrew Shirley um nah, it’s widely acclaimed by both critics and the fans. Under-watched is what you’re looking for. Even a little under-appreciated.

After season 3 was almost canceled I wrote a letter to the D-bag at NBC ( whoever the guy was who decides what shows get cancelled), I cant remember his name, but it's been the only time in my life that I wrote in to try and save a tv show. I'd like to think it helped, but will never know. Also I'm pausing this vid every 5 min so it will feel like it will last longer. #6 seasons and a movie. Love
