You fought that fish way too long. Then handled it too much. The odds of that fish actually surviving your release are very low. Right them faster since you're releasing them who cares if you lose it! Handle them less
You offer some good advice. I could have sped up the fight but I had already lost two fish that morning from trying to horse them in, I was being cautious. It's definitely recommended that you reduce the amount of handling time and keep the fish in the water until you are ready for your photo or measurement. Thanks for the comment.
Gorgeous trout man! Great day out
Thanks 👍. Lucky we have such quality lakes around us!
Great video keep them coming
Thanks! Will do!
Where is this? Very nice location
This is a lake called Dolberg. It is a very popular trophy trout lake. It’s a lot of fun when the trout are biting but it’s very busy on the weekend!
I didn’t get a chance to do early season trout 😢
There’s always fall trout fishing!

Caught my first tiger last year at Hasse Lake by stony plain. Beautiful fish
It sure is! They fight well and eat readily as well. One of my favourite fish to catch these days.
I used to live by there, is the fishing actually good there? It used to have the nickname 'Ass lake'
