Most dangerous reservoir there is in my opinion because of the wind and freezing cold water. But it can be decent fishing. It gets lots of angler effort through the ice in winter but that too can be dangerous business cause of fluctuation in water levels
If you are thinking of going on this lake BE CAREFUL!! There are numerous dead heads and the wind is violent and comes without warning. Stay close to the land and be prepared. Numerous hazardous rescues happen every summer on this lake.
Im from calgary and its probably a one way road but we consider denver colorado to be our sister city and ya we both got a good chunk of the exact same rockies! and all the exact same wildlife!
If you don't mind the hike, there is a lake near Abraham called landslide lake... went there a while ago but between me and my dad we caught over 100 cutthroat... if you flyfish bring alot of flies though! The rocks can be hard on flies!
Thanks for sharing! I’ve lived in Alberta most of my life but haven’t made it to Abraham lake
The scenery there looks spectacular!!

I hauled my canoe down once in May by the damn. The wildest lake I ever fished, you launch and by the time you get one canoe length out youre in 200'+
But what kind of pie did you get in Nordegg?

The sketchiest lake out there! Many people die every summer and winter here! Do not go
I thought boats are not allowed there cuz it's too dangerous...

Thanks very much for the video!! Loved the beautiful drone footage. I've always wondered what's in that lake, now I know. Cheers!!!
Great video, I'm heading there this week, staying at the DT resort. Hope I can land one or two from shore?
You and your brother are both fantastic really enjoy your videos
great vid, thanks for sharing, beautiful yellow fins
Nice dude, love the Rockies view. Good job on the video!
Nice fishing bud, I was there yesterday, superrrr windy
When are you guys making a fishing movie? Slay slay slay!
Excellent !
What i found in these mountain lakes is it just best to fish 40 feet of water and use buzz bombs
Out there yesterday. Pretty slow.
Suprised you weren’t running riggers or lead on that lake seems it would’ve worked great there
On a small tinner riggers aren’t possible. I was running in line weights thou at the start of the video
@@fishinggeeks I got the a rigger on mine old school 14ft StarCraft yours looks like a 10-12footer definitely possible
