Thank goodness for the subtitles. I can’t understand her at all. She’s so whiny and her speech is strange.
I just do not understand how people can purposefully cause such horrific pain on their children and others. RIP Chad.
Sadly, I can. I might not understand the reasoning behind it, but I can understand it, and it doesn't surprise me. Humans are an angry species. And, humans commonly have mental problems. I, myself, have some mental things that make me think things I don't particularly like (depression and shit). So I get it. I don't like it, and I don't agree with it. Said person should have gone to someone the instant those kinds of thoughts popped up, to get help with it. But, as much as it sucks, it's not surprising when this kind of thing happens anymore.
If you really think about it, is it THAT much of a leap to go from self-harm to harming someone else? I mean, hell, if you tell a doctor you're depressed and stuff, they even ask you straight up "Do you have any thoughts of hurting yourself or others?"
And that's JUST depression. There's so many other kinds of mental issues and problems that exist that can even legitimately make the person think that their crime is okay, or justified.
I don't know her mental state in this specific video. I'm just kinda generalizing a bit. And mind you, I'm not trying to justify it, or say it was okay. I'm saying I can understand the "how someone could do it" part of it.
Rip Chad he truly was GIGA CHAD ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Right!? Never talk to cops! That way you can get away with murder.
Because they think they're smart, and can out maneuver the detectives with their acting and wits.
Getting a lawyer is a concrete, voluntary step that acknowledges the seriousness of the situation. When you are building an elaborate lie that relies on others' presumption of your innocence, you don't want anything that breaks the facade. They are banking on their ability to just walk through it all as if they didn't have anything to do with it.
They probably think they'll look innocent if they don't ask for a lawyer 🤣🤣🤣

I don't know why people wouldn't do that even if they were innocent of a crime. Having a lawyer present your case is vastly better than being interrogated. If you're innocent, let the forensics prove it. Interrogations are for confessions to support the evidence they have.

That 911 made me immediately suspicious. Everyone reacts differently to tragedy. I'm a medic. Unfortunately, tragic death is part of the gig. Obviously, my opinion is from my personal observations, I'm not saying I'm any sort of expert. But if someone finds a loved one dead, especially a traumatic or unnatural death, they don't start the 911 call with an alibi. They arent nonchalant on scene. They beg for help, tell us to hurry, shout, cry, stare silently into empty space, pray, and lash out at us because we couldn't do anything to help.
They don't sound like they're ordering pizza. They dont go from casual chat to banshee wail then back to casual chat within seconds.
Wow I bet you have some stories. An interesting and rewarding job.thats awesome!!
My dad was a fireman , and he said that the family would immediately state your horrible. You should have done more. My dad wanted to help people but it took awhile for him to understand how people act when in trauma and he said it's the hardest thing because it stays with you and you have to remind yourself that you did everything you could
@yenyen5518 Sadly, yes. It is a common response. But they are trying to deal with the fact that someone they love is dead. To make it worse, the death is likely sudden and tragic. In the worst cases, it can get dangerous for us. There's been several incidents in the last couple of years where family/friends became so emotional and upset at responders that they seriously injured and even killed them because responders couldn't save their loved one. I've been attacked verbally and physically. But more than anything, it's sad. Their whole world has irreversibly changed, and they are trying to deal with it. They lash out and make really poor choices.
Crazy!!!! Thats so true. The nerve of this woman! Feel so bad for Chad
Banshee wail 😂😂
The videos are very good and interesting in my opinion and hop you reach 1 mill😊
What’s crazy is you thought you could get away with killing this poor bloke .
Just a guess, but are you a fellow Aussie?
@@lindapalmer870 no Brit talking here 😊
I noticed she’s saying the word ‘whatever’ way too much.
Total dummie.

Bunch of pommies, and tree dwelling coontz in here…
That was a joke btw. I like aussies, and the British are ok too… except for the English ones. They kinda suck. lol
25 years for murder! Just bring in the the death penalty for this type of crap.
Death is too easy...and so are prisons today...😢
i believe in cruel and unusual punishment for cruel and unusual crimes
I think sitting in prison is a worse penalty than death. Death is an escape.
For all you guys watching, Niki is using the "Lost Little Sheep" technic coupled with the "Player" technic. Niki is the perfect example of a female suspect that needs a female detective to question her.
Nikki literally acts like my ex and omg I just realized how close i was to being murdered. Man I'm glad I changed the locks.
Going from hysterical crying to the dumbfounded silence at 14:50 is like something out of a comedy show
I watch all these crime videos...I can beat the Reid technique with 4 small words: I want a lawyer.
Yes exactly 🤔🥴🙈🤦🏼♀️🤨🤫😶
Narcissists never ask for a lawyer. They think they are smart enough to manipulate the situation on their own.
Obviously, she thought she could outsmart the detectives and didn't think she needed a lawyer. Not too smart.
Yup. Me too
@cathykeim1088 most criminals think they are smarter than the detectives!
Seems like everyone who thinks they can get away with murder is absolutely terrible at doing things that would in fact make sure you grt away with it.
I really very thankful to the police officers investigating n the explanation given by the narrator....but very sad to know such wickness exist...the love the husband showed end his life...watching 😢from Singapore
HOLY CRAP! These two are the BEST soft cop/WTF Cop duo I have ever seen. Better than law and order, these two ❤
Be fair, this wasn't a difficult interrogation. They had 90% of what they needed already and she's not slick at *all*
Not really. They are easy to read.
Anyone that pleads their entire case out on the 911 call is guilty. They set up their Alibi they give a roundabout story instead of sticking with the facts and just the facts that they need police here immediately! The 911 call can tell cops a lot before even getting on scene.
Facts!
Whenever I hear a 911 call & the first thing they say is "I just came back from blah blah blah", I immediately think they are guilty, it doesn't make sense to be saying that instead of "please send help quick"
I watch lots of true crime movies and videos like this and you nailed it! If I came home and found a crime scene I would be hysterical and calling 911 immediately while running to a neighbors house until help could arrive.
i thought the same thing!!! you wouldn't be giving all this context to the operator & detailing what you were doing beforehand. Your focus would be on getting help there asap -- aka stating the emergency in the shortest form possible and giving your address
Ikr 😂😂
Great naration, and production value!
3:27 the snow coming off the roof is crazy
I also saw it 😂
It never ceases to amaze me that people will kill or try to kill someone over half a million dollars. It really isn't that much, you can't retire off of it and live a rich life like these people think.
Seriously!!!
But these ppl are dumb, so of course they’d have no financial literacy to know this.
Especially in today’s dollars. I was injured in a workplace accident due to company negligence and received a low 7 figure payout. It’s crazy how fast $500,000 can go. Is the money life changing? Sure, but all it would do for you is just give you a head start. You’d still have to work to pay bills. I talk about this with others in similar positions and 1,000,000 is nothing like it was back in like 2000. Decent houses are 300K+, cars 40k+, bachelors degree 60-100k depending on where you go. Like can that money buy you some nice things? Sure, but that amount of money disappears real fast if you think you can just go out living the rich life. That’s why most lottery winners are broke after only a few years.
@@anbufan1011 100% To add on, greedy people don't invest or take advantage of savings or certificates.
@@anbufan1011 eh. Anyone nowadays would be over the moon to get 500k.
If you invest half a million and get an extremely modest 5% return, that's $25000 a year.
If you can sit on it instead of drawing it to let it compound, you're sitting pretty in short order.
The key is to not blow it on stupid shit like an Escalade.
You know when these 911 operators say hello and the caller immediately begins telling every single thing they did today, they must just roll their eyes. 🙄
And they feel like typing in the system, murderer called in to say she killed her husband…
@@reneevaz7848 🤣🤣🤣
Straight facts
"Come on. You don't have to be like that about it". 😂😂
When she tried to rip up the paper😂😂😂
The guy narrating the video you can hear the excitement in his voice his ENJOYING the psychological breakdown hahaha onya bro 😂 Love it SUBBED
It’s amazing how she just stopped. Instantly no sobbing ,and no speaking frail.
I cannot get my head around how stupid these criminals are! It's bad enough you go ahead with killing your supposed loved one but then how stupid can you be moving things in an out of a hotel where CCTV cameras will obviosuly see you! Don't get me started on the ridiculous arson attempt
😂😂😂😂I’ve always believed there should be 2 different sentences given. 1 for the crime committed and 1 for badly it was planned😂
I love these investigators.Doing a good job .
Poor Chad, rest in peace.
Give more credit to the fire investigators on this! Not the fire department or the Marshalls. The fire investigators themselves did a hell of a job. Shout out to the Arson Investigation Association, many crimes would go unnoticed without them
Being a fire investigator has to be an emotionally draining job. So much loss…
Like we specifically know who's who
@@stuff1784for sure. Everything your investigating is destroyed. Including humans/animals. Gotta be tough tough.
@@thanos7110 I mean if you're familiar with this type of work you know exactly the difference between them and the rest
@@stuff1784 it very much is, my mom in northeast Indiana was a Arson Investigator for 15 years and they get the tough part. When all Is said and done they sift through ash, go through personal belongings, examine crime scenes involving the fire and its all on them to figure out how it started. I have nothing but respect for the investigators and wish they'd give them props on this video. Currently in school for Fire Science right now so hopefully Arson Investigation will be in my best future
The first thing she said that made her sound guilty, to me, was "I've been away for a few days". Had to get that in early! Vile what some people will do for money!
Exactly my thoughts! Already trying to have an alibi put out there! First rule of investigating . The 911 call is telling if a person is innocent or guilty. If they try to establish an alibi on the call big red flag!
@@MmmmmmmmTaters I agree with you 100%. She may as well have told 911 that -I just shot my husband and lit a fire to cover my tracks.
Everyone's always "away" for a few days exactly when the murder happens
Man these are as good as explore with us.
When they say I think your a good person, you know your in for a long time lmaooo
its really interesting to watch the psychological journey of a guilty person. Like the methods the cues the body language etc. I really respect criminal detectives for that
Yes. Have you seen the masterful interrogation of Colonel Russell Wilson? A Canadian Air Force Colonel trained in counter interrogation!
@@avanellehansen4525 Most bizarre case ever. The man was such a success but let his kink destroy others and his life.
In a lot of these interrogation videos, the guilty party starts out seemingly overconfident that this questioning process will be quick, that no one suspects them, and that they'll be able to just talk their way out of it. Then, once they realize the officers/detectives have caught them in a lie or multiple lies, they are so quick to try to shift the blame onto whoever their accomplice might have been, usually without actually coming out and saying it, but one way or another they try to make the other person seem guiltier than them.
@@jamesbowen2088 yeah like it's that process they go through and it really reflects on their body language and words. That phycological process is the interesting part.
Killers like this are always as dumb as a box of rocks believing they can outsmart investigators.
I know rocks that are smarter.
No one can out smart multiple men- with 50+hours per person each week looking into your case.
Luck is the only way you outsmart multiple cops- luck and being extremely loaded
Usually these killers are narcissistic and their thinking is not normal like others, it’s about control, and taking a life is the ultimate control. Lying is easy for them, because they never take responsibility for own actions ever.
same. i got a couple pet rocks with higher IQs then her.@@melissafraser2190

you have to be pretty dumb to come up with a plan like this in the first place.
This is the most BIZARRE interrogation. Her reaching out and touching him for emotional support just gives me the ick, it's SO weird.
For real, this level of bizarre is on par with that kid that threatened to release his bipolar.
