if you mean taking out the headliner in a car with a sunroof, the there's usually a bead that runs around the edge of the interior side of the sunroof. Here, you simply need to pull this (U shape) bead straight out, there most of the time isn't an y fastener holding it on, it is just held there by friction

I leaned my seat back and still had massive issues getting the headliner out. Does it matter if its the driver or passenger's seat i take out?
Where are you located? Can you do suede headliner upgrades?

@Scatpack-gw9kb I pulled out mine from 2023 honda Accord, and I don't see that it can be installed back in without creases. It would be nice, though

I removed the seat so you can remove that headliner easier with out folding/wrinkling/bending the headliner and ruining it
