A 4 banger with some bass after being straight piped? I’m impressed.
The 1.6T is one of the best sounding 4 cylinders with a modded exhaust. And it pops and crackles stock

I just paid mine off and decided to keep it for my daily. It's been a great car and fun to drive with the 6 speed. Thinking about doing some tasteful mods. This sounded WAY better than I expected.

Hey what else did you do to open it up? IT doesn't sound that throaty with just a more open flowing exhaust.
This isn't tuned right?? I have the Optima SX 2.0T and I'm not tuned YET. BUT I know they charge $200+ for "pops and gurgles" when buying the tunes. I grew up building and working in the shop doing alot of custom exhaust so I know how to make good sounds.. I also know these cars do it with just a res+muffler delete and straight pipes 🤣 so glad you did this man I've only done muffler delete but debated resonator - for a solid year in fear of local bacon sniping me. I've decided, she's coming off and quad tips are goin on the end! Great vid thanks guys!
I just installed a bov plate on my forte5 sx. What a pain in the ass. One of the three bolts is damn near impossible to get to without taking the front fascia off. Ended up taking an hour and a half to do but it sounds sick.
Thinking about doing this exhaust mod next.

Hey man! Quick question. I have the same exact car. The only mods I’ve done are a muffler and resonator delete. My exhaust sounds pretty good, but it doesn’t even come close to the gurgles and low tone that this one has. I’m lucky if my pops and gurgles once, let alone a lot like this one. Is there anything else done to this car that would contribute to that? Is everything else still factory? Are the cats still on? Is there anything I can do with my car to make it pop and crackle and sound more intense? Thank you so much. I really enjoy your videos, and I look forward to hearing back from you.
