I would highly suggest calibrating. My inkbird was almost 3 degrees F off. I used the hanna thermometer to calibrate. Great vid! I think that heat controllers are a must have for aquariums.
Nice vid thanks. Recently picked up the 306A as I don’t need the cooling. The inkbird app is great but I did have a slight issue getting the unit connected to my wifi (more me than the unit 🤦♂️).
You can have a check on this ,Bud,Please make sure the router is 2.4GHz WIFI, please check the Settings: Could you try slow flash mode? The steps of AP mode are as follows: 1. Switch the WIFI indicator light of the device to slow flashing 2. The mobile phone is connected to the 2.4GHz WIFI router, and the router can access the Internet successfully, and the location permission has been opened. 3. Open the Inkbird Pro/Inkbird Smart app, select AP mode, enter WiFi name and password, the app will prompt you to connect to SmartLife-XXX, please do not click to confirm. 4. (Key step) Switch to the wifi connection Settings of the phone. After connecting to the SmartLife-XXX hotspot, it will display "Connected without Internet". Then immediately return to the app and it will go into connection mode,Hope this can help you,good day
Brilliant video mate, was great to see how the inkbird works, I use the DD temperature controller so its interesting to see the differences, I love the Wi-Fi feature of this unit!

To calibrate probe get cup ice water and thermometer put probe in it should be 32 degrees
