  • This is the Basebench review from baseblocks, where I will look at the claim that this is a must have for calisthenics leg training. The base bench allows for Bulgarian split squats, pistol squats, Nordic curls which are some of the best calisthenics exercises out there but it also allows for bands to be added meaning you can do banded deadlifts, banded bridges heck you can pretty much do any like in the video of banded rows. This is a versatile calisthenics equipment which is certainly worth your time in checking out.     So update with customer service and problems with the product is im getting replacement but getting the pro version, with the idea of doing a comparison between this one and the pro so make sure to subscribe so you dont miss that one

    have had it for a year now. Got my first nordic a few weeks ago. Don't give up. I find it really sturdy. Been using it for hip thrusts too and it's very comfortable.

    What is the system you are using for your rings? I've been after an adjustable ring set-up that can support weighted exercises and roll itself back up after use, and your set-up looks really good

    imo it would be better to work on ankle mobility/ wedge pistol squats than trying to do them off a box, I spun my wheels for a bit doing the box variation, but if your injury can't be helped with mobility work then I understand.

      Yes ankle mobility is something I have worked on. I've tried banded mobilisation but doesn't seem to help. The right ankle is better and is getting better. Already been able to them without holding onto anything so hopefully with time get better
