Hey is it that bad to wheel around? Was hoping to keep this in the closet when not in use. Also have you tried holding weights at the higher incline to progress to the lower inclines?
No, I haven’t tried holding weights. Thanks for the idea! And it’s not bad to wheel around. It’s actually fairly easy. But it’s a bit bulky and might be hard to fit in a closet. Make sure you check the dimensions on the BB website to make sure it’ll fit in your closet.
@@MinusTheGym Thanks for the reply! Is it also quick to change between incline angles and for storage? One issue I have with freak athlete is there’s so many knobs it takes forever to change between storage, nordics, back extensions, etc.
Thanks! I wasn’t planning to since I did a review on the original Big Bar, but I’ll ask BaseBlocks if they want to send me a Pro for a comparison video. We’ll see!
I hope they do. I purchased the Big Bar because of that review. Also purchased the B-Bars because the review you did years ago. Just looking to see if the upgrade worth it
Great video! It helped me decide it was a good piece of equipment. On a side note, for Europe most equipment is not available or with ridiculous high shipment cost. But this I could order without shipment cost directly from Europe!
Love baseblocks. Recently made some additions with the coming Freak Athlete reverse hyper and wheelbarrow sled so have to hold off but… I would love to see Big Bar Pro review! Cash is tight with new baby so will probably wait til next Spring. Looks like the perfect dip/pull-up combo
Y just have a steel, padded T, screwed to the wall at a strategic height with a pull up bar on top to hang bands for asistance for Nordics, and a yoga type harness for hypertensions. It's safe, cheap, and you can use those for a cornucopia of bodyweight pain. I must have spent way less than $1000 in my entire fitness studio, that includes rubber floor and air conditioning.
Possibly. You could lie flat on it and use dumbbells, for example. There’s some clearance for your arms, but it’s obviously not as much as a standard bench, which is much higher off the ground.
Can you try to do QL raises on it and let me know if it feels ok? I'd love to replace my valore fitness back extension with this. Looks good for trap 3 raises too.
I just scored 7 Baseblocks pieces, including this, for 500 bucks. All new in the box. Youre videos have been invaluable to me. Thanks!
Nice! That’s an amazing deal!
Thanks for sharing. Can u do dragon flag on these and forgo the basebench?
I really hope they send you the Big Bar Pro for a review. The angled dip bars + big bar seem like a great combo.

Great! I’m glad it helped 👍 Hopefully you got the 10% off with the link, too
Major con- smashed gonads 😂. Not in the UK sadly. I'm tempted by the basic baseblock for added leg exercises
Does it work well with QL raises? Also I am 6’3”, would hyper extensions be comfortable ?
The hyperextension setup is fixed. What height range would it work for? Also is it stable enough to use with weights?
Hi, are you still having the 10% discount on by any chance? I would like to buy it but would like to check this first 😅

Does it stand upright for storage?
will it work the mid back and if so how much involvement or improvement do you see in the midback (thoracic spine)
What equiqment would you get if you were starting just now? I live in an apartement flat.
Can you do bench press on it?
Possibly. You could lie flat on it and use dumbbells, for example. There’s some clearance for your arms, but it’s obviously not as much as a standard bench, which is much higher off the ground.
@@MinusTheGym thanks for answering!
Is it not available for Europe? Product is nowhere to be found on the website
Interesting. Their website says it starts shipping in Canada on January 15th, but I don’t see anything about Europe 🤔 I’ll reach out and ask Jason.
By now, the product is visible in Europe ✌@@MinusTheGym

Never-mind, just bought it using your affiliate link. Thanks!
And does it feel okay to do QL Raises on it?
Btw i treid juicing some honeycrisp apples the other day and was blown away how tasty it was!
Apples are loaded with sugar. I don’t eat any fruit.
