The B-Bars by Baseblocks is great for those who are training from home, who can't get to the gym or just have a busy lifestyle.
Easy, durable and definitely great on storage space, I've been using the B-Bars by Baseblocks for 9 months.
Training from home can be tricky when you don't have equipment, which is why I've been finding this so useful in my training.
I have also been using the B-Bars from baseblocks as well as their other products including the Basebench Pro & Strong Blocks.

Thanks for the review, this has helped me a lot with my decision
You’re welcome! I hope you end up getting them!
You made the exercises look easy 😄
It's still always a challenge ahahaha
Sean putting electrical tape in between the joints helps greatly to reduce shaking and excess space within the mechanism. Hope this helps.
Thanks! This does!
I’m confused where exactly do I put electric tape to stop the shakiness?
The shake in those bars while you do dips just convinced me not to buy. Thanks for saving me the time!
Really helpful!!
Great video. How about keeping both at the high setting and use rings?
That's a possibility but you'd have to really shorten the rings, could work!
I personally haven't!
@@sean.momentum I have a BaseBar and it's always set high and I have rings always attached for the low setting stuff. When I don't need them I just slide them on the sides or put them on the ground. It works, try it.
I tried to buy the B-bars upgrade kit but it's not available in Europe.
@@ScuffyTheDog I’ve got some things I’m going to sell and make a set up for this so I like this idea! Did you get the base bar rings too??
Hi Sean, did you ever get the original base bar? If so, I'd love to hear what you think of it. I currently have a doorframe pullup bar that I've been using for the past few years, but a) the frame is now creaking quite loudly when I use it for regular pullups, and b) it doesn't feel that secure to use, so I feel like I have to be quite careful when doing any exercise on it, and as I'm now training towards the front lever, it feels especially unsafe without having my legs pointed to the floor.
quick question, does yours shake on the higher setting?
Sean thanks for the review. Just curious, how tall are you?
I'm 179cm!
🔥🔥
😘
Are there any alternatives to this that are worth looking into? I'm dealing with limited space and low ceilings and so far this seems like my best bet. My main concerns with this is that it doesn't look like I'd be able to get a wide-grip for targeting lats and that the bars buckle as much as they do.
It does widen in grip if u need it too! So it has a few settings for wide and narrow :)
As far as other alternatives, not sure what is on the market yet
You can just get regular paralettes but if you want to do l sit pullups there aren't many bars that tall. For alternatives though I'm pretty sure with the x mark dip station you'll be able to do l sit pullups in a neutral grip. Another alternative could be the sportsroyal dip bars but since there only 45 inches tall you probably won't be able to do full rom.
Are they good enough to do weighted dips?
Any answer?
Is this a waste of money for someone starting out. I can get a pair of second hand parallel bars for 20 dollars
It really depends how you see it but I'd say what 20 dollars can get you, would do the same! I'd only get this if you were looking to upgrade :)
Do you plan on getting the big bar my friend?
Not the big bar, because i do have a squat rack with pull up bar but I am considering getting the Original Base Bar instead!
My hand hurts using the B Bars do you have any advice?
Yeh sure thing! What movement? Pull ups or dips?
