Imagine hundreds of videos like this that will dramatically help you improve no matter what your skill leveL. If you are serious about getting better in PDR, subscribe to denttrainer.com today.

I had to use a suction cup. I had to place and pull just in the right spots to move the metal flow and then continue with traditional paintless dent removal.

The videos are well-produced and offer a clear and concise explanation of the techniques involved in each process. The presenter is knowledgeable and provides useful tips and insights throughout the demonstrations, making it easy for viewers to follow along and learn from the video.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for explaining the dent dynamics and how it might have been created.
Perfectly Splendid! What separates you from the boys is you know exactly where to start the pulling. I would not have known to start on the side you did at this point.
Thanks again Myke! Very detail oriented!! And.... another great repair
Appreciate it David 👊
Holy Crap, that customer had to be real pleased, nice work.
👊 but it was a rental car.. Just kidding. 😊
Nice job ! Excellent teaching without the usual drivel! Very easy and pleasant to watch!
One of the best videos on the topic! Thank you for sharing!
I come back to this one occasionally, because there is so much valuable info in there. Thanks!
I am so glad I found this video Mike. I've learned so much from it. Extremely helpful. You DA Man Mike.
I tripped across @denttime vids and I'm not PDR nor body repair person. I'm hooked watching how the dents are removed. Way Kewl!
great job. looks amazing. the technique is perfect.
Great analogy and easy to understand. THANKS
Great Work!
I really like the idea of thinking about the progression of how the dent was formed and then reverse that progression to pull it out. That was impressive to see that dent removal concept in action and how quick and effective it was!
Nice work! thanks for sharing.
One of the easiest Mathod to repair the dents
This is the best and most informative video I have seen thank you for this
Great repair Myke !!!!
Thanks Chris. 🙏
Weldone mate. Thanks
Awesome video. Thank you for your time and attention to detail.
Thank you!
This use of vacuum to pull has been used by the Obstetricians for ages. And is used as an alternative to Obstetric Forceps
Hi bro thats sooo amazing thank you thank you for a wonderful lesson
very helpful video like the way he explained it
I needed to watch this video put me on game
WOW,WOW !!!, that was Fantastic, I understand what you were, saying, it makes a lot of sense, No heat , No glue, Great Video, this is probably thee most, information in the shortest amount of time I've ever seen, Thanks William Orange county,
Wow nice job !! Thats an art !
Excellent job sir 👌👌
Great work man, holy smokes!
Haha...I’ve done the light suction cup a couple times and had the arm pop off! Surely some of that California heat helped.
A Principle in Medicine for example when a narrower part of the intestines goes into a wider portion called ‘Intusussuption’ it is the ‘part that went in first comes out last’ therefore the centre of the dent comes out last.
Yes makes perfect sense thanks
Nice job!!! I subscribed to your channel , Will from North Carolina
Very good job,!
What kind of pricing should you charge for doing a dent like this? And how hard is it to talk a body shop out of just replacing the hood and repainting? So many?????🤔. You make it look so easy.
Damn that was fun to watch, and watch a master at work! Killer job, Myke!! It's also refreshing to see I'm not the only one still using a line-board, I still use my black & yellow ghost-board just like that on on a daily-basis, I love it!! 😎
thanks
Also, rather than pushing on every individual micro low with the tip of a rod, if you could fit a whale tail being a panel and slide it back and forth with some pressure, wouldn’t that smooth out the last bits of distortion?
Nicely done! It makes me hopeful that my newly acquired dent can be removed this way!
Your sharper black tap down tip, is that nylon? What’s the hardest material for a tap down tip other than tempered steel and polished surfaces? How would you compare those to stainless steel tips, are they paint friendly?
Excellent.
well done
Wow , what a great video
Thanks for the video. Would you recommend this or cold glue or cold for these kind of dents on hoods?
Cold glue is much better.
where do I get this knockdown ?
What is the brand of that suction cup?
Where can I buy that suction cup let me know plz thanks
Nice! Where can I buy that suction cop and dent revealer screen and dent hand tool?
Where can you buy the suction cup???
Can you suction cup any dent? Is it possible to mess it up more especially if you've never done it before?
Saludos desde Cd. Lerdo, Dgo. Mexico
Thats amazing
Buenos dias maestro, estoy desayunando y viendo los videos del dia de hoy. Si los videos estuvieran con traduccion al espanol seria fabuloso. Gracias
do you have a link of that suction cup you using looks like can do the job
Fantastic work man. Let me ask you if you put another half hour to an hour could you make the zebra stripes as sharp as the other ones? right now they are equidistant and direction-ally correct and the right progressive width but they are jagged, I wonder if with the sharper tool complete restoring could be achieved. I am a car designer by the way and we do the same type of work in CAD pushing and pulling on surfaces with the Zebra-Candy stripe filter turned on so this feels second nature to me. lol
I have tiers of what customers want to pay. The more perfect they want it obviously the higher the cost. Not everybody can afford high-quality so to answer your question yes indeed it can be improved if they have the budget. Thanks for watching.
If a hood is bent, then you should loosen the metal, pull the dents out by any means necessary, put screws on the edge on that hood then hammer rivet pieces or solid rivets in holes.
Amazing
Where can I purchase the tool! Please attach a link. 🙏🏼
brilliant idea line board . Light bulb moment
Hi, you won't believe this, the moment I saw this dent, I said somebody put their fat butt on the car. It was totally obvious. I really enjoy watching someone as talented as you are, also how well you explain what is happening. I'm learning A lot by watching and listening. Thanks for great videos!!
Ok.... 😂😂😂 my man uses his suction cup from his mini light 😆😆. I never even thought about this. Fantastic Myke 👏👏👏
👊
Nice job, thank for your video.
If I'd to try this, where can I buy this tool?
Generally try AnsonPDR.com
What exactly is a crown??...so place puller beneath crown?
20:36
You are pushing down on the end of the rode to push up on the other end of the rood (under the hood). Meaning there's a pivot point. But where is the pivot point and what is it? is it a hole in the hood (regardless you drilled it or not). If so, aren't you bending the metal at that pivot hole (point)?
No because the curve in our tools allows use to maintain leverage without damaging the access point.
Where can I buy the suction cup? Thanks
Where can you buy the suction cup???
This is literally a big ass dent!
Would this work on any post 1988 body panels? I don't know if the modern today's car have thinner panel than 1988 or 1995 cars.
Older vehicles are generally much thicker gauge metal. PDR is still possible for sure but the factors are limited.
I love it , do mine !
WOW! look at how humble these monsters are! Lets learn fellas. Most of the time we forget to listen to another brother that's is trying to help us out. STAY WOKE!
AMEN!!!
Where can I purchase one of those line boards Myke?

Sure. Go to my website and contact me from there. denttime.com thanks
Where is a good source to get the R4 tool that you are using?
Dentcrafttools.com
That cup is probably the best.. The windshield ones are too solid you wouldn't get it to grip/seal
What do you mean by windshield ones? Is that the large cup with handle?
Nice
I think these hoods are aluminum. That would be good to mention to the viewers.
Steel but thanks.
wot does the stripey thing do
I was thinking someone sat on the hood too.
Excellent video and narration. I have to do this tomorrow on my Hyundai accent. Deep dent but near windshield wipers.
Cool.
Wow 😮
Wash it down first with hot very soapy water and whack a toilet plunger fair in the middle and pull sharply.
And then what are you gonna do about all the ripples in waves left?
@@denttime Send it to SAN Diego! I jest...but I once reversed my daughters car onto a post and pushed the rear under fender panel way in! Was horrified.....but in that case it was not a compound fracture and popped right out again. What these guys do is beautiful to watch...
Where can you buy the suction cup???
Exactly
You maybe was a woodpecker in your previous life 🤣
Someone was laid there ...
My hood looks similar but all I did was hit a deer on the way to work 😂
Someone jumped back and flopped on it.
how can i learn this....
In India 🇮🇳
I am learning PDR all on my own, I bought some PDR tools on Ebay, I solicit old cars that has PDR type of damage, and try my best on each car or van, I do this FREE OF CHARGE, But with NO GUARANTEE, I WATCH THESE VIDEOS, and apply what I see, i am OK at it now, I found that Glue Pulling gives a major advantage. so if you can't get trained by a pro try it on your own. 😁
I do body work now and paint thank
used hood same color 20 minutes
In a perfect fantasy Island world… Yeah that might work.. as long as the paint isn’t damaged, scratched or not faded in the same color tone and shape as the rest of the vehicle… 🙄
Looks like lizzo sat on that hood
Good job 🇷🇺
ad scam with fake comments
Gimme a break. 😂
This video does not need to be 22 minutes
Yes, talk to much
That's a straight up sex dent! 🤣🤣🤣
😎👏👏👏😉👍
