  • This video was shot about 5 years ago before "cold glue" came around. It's been on www.denttrainer.com since then. So I decided to release publicly to youtube so my audience can see what kind of real pdr tutorials they are missing.
    Imagine hundreds of videos like this that will dramatically help you improve no matter what your skill leveL. If you are serious about getting better in PDR, subscribe to denttrainer.com today.
    (Back to video description)
    I had to use a suction cup. I had to place and pull just in the right spots to move the metal flow and then continue with traditional paintless dent removal.

    I really like the idea of thinking about the progression of how the dent was formed and then reverse that progression to pull it out. That was impressive to see that dent removal concept in action and how quick and effective it was!

    A Principle in Medicine for example when a narrower part of the intestines goes into a wider portion called ‘Intusussuption’ it is the ‘part that went in first comes out last’ therefore the centre of the dent comes out last.

    Also, rather than pushing on every individual micro low with the tip of a rod, if you could fit a whale tail being a panel and slide it back and forth with some pressure, wouldn’t that smooth out the last bits of distortion?

    Fantastic work man. Let me ask you if you put another half hour to an hour could you make the zebra stripes as sharp as the other ones? right now they are equidistant and direction-ally correct and the right progressive width but they are jagged, I wonder if with the sharper tool complete restoring could be achieved. I am a car designer by the way and we do the same type of work in CAD pushing and pulling on surfaces with the Zebra-Candy stripe filter turned on so this feels second nature to me. lol

      I have tiers of what customers want to pay. The more perfect they want it obviously the higher the cost. Not everybody can afford high-quality so to answer your question yes indeed it can be improved if they have the budget. Thanks for watching.

    If a hood is bent, then you should loosen the metal, pull the dents out by any means necessary, put screws on the edge on that hood then hammer rivet pieces or solid rivets in holes.

    You are pushing down on the end of the rode to push up on the other end of the rood (under the hood). Meaning there's a pivot point. But where is the pivot point and what is it? is it a hole in the hood (regardless you drilled it or not). If so, aren't you bending the metal at that pivot hole (point)?

    • @denttime
      @denttime  2 роки тому

      No because the curve in our tools allows use to maintain leverage without damaging the access point.
