Your demeanor in these videos makes watching these so, so pleasant. No stupid catch phrases or silly themed things we have to endure, just good findings and some history. Add to that the perfectly wonderful music and these are a real pleasure to watch.
I agree, love this channel for the same reasons, and brads genuine interest and wonder in whatever he finds.... what is it with most detectorists and daft catch phrases literally after every single find.
Agreed. And don’t forget the scenery. Too many 20 minute or so vids have pockets of time that drag on plus intros that are downright painful. But here at Green Mountain the content is engaging and Brad’s demeanor compliments his surroundings perfectly. It doesn’t hurt that he’s a cutie patutie as well. Thank you Brad for being you and sharing what you do.
I don't think metal detecting can be more entertaining. From the well crafted videos to the history lessons along the way and being a fellow Vermonter. Well done
Metal detecting brings a joy even when you find a old rusty nail that has no value except to the finder. If you've never done it, I encourage you to try. If you purchase a metal detector start out small and work up If you find it to be fun.
WOW!!! Brad this was absolutely an amzing trip!! SO cool thank you for sharing! Can not wait for the next video! Your my medicine in this crazy world and i thank you for that!
I must have misheard you a few weeks ago because I thought you said you weren’t going to post videos because you were going to go to your winter schedule. I was excited to see this video posted this morning that I watched while drinking my coffee on the deck. I guess it shows how old I am by the excitement I felt about seeing it. Don’t underestimate the joy you bring to people every Friday.
Nice Dig Day! I know I'm a Senior Citizen, because I right away knew what the maple taps and nose ring were. You stumped me with the horse tack, though! Gun Granni NY
As soon as I saw that first tree tap I recognized it! I have one just like it that I found in a local antique shop. I hope to find a few more and make a coat rack. They are really interesting pieces.
Ahhh, my "Friday Fix"! When I first started metal detecting I would watch every video on the subject posted on UA-cam by every content creator out there. Now, yours is the only one I watch. You provide an excellent show in all aspects and I find myself waiting for your next video with great anticipation! TGIF means Brad's coming. Keep up the great work. You deserve the accolades.
First time here and when you found those tree taps you said you're in vermont!Vermont!! Vermont is on my bucket list to visit in the fall!! I will definitely be following you!!! Thank you for your calm demeanor and low key music. Focus is on you and your content. Thank you!
Good hunt, Mr. Brad, especially the 2 taps and the 2 silvers. I learned last year that I can make syrup from Elm tree sap which I did not know so I think I will experiment with that in the Spring.
Brad I enjoy watching your videos, been watching them for a long time now. Thanks for bringing me along. The filagree piece looks to me a fancy broken broche being there was two tangs across from each other for a pin maybe? 🤔
Love my morning cup of coffee while watching you digging. how can it be relaxing yet exciting at the same time?! .25 cents in 1902 was worth over $8 in our time. someone lost a big chunk of their earnings. great find!
Awesome video Brad. I really like the relics found especially the (2) sugar maple taps, the horse tack, the IHP and the barber dime and the barber quarter.
Perhaps it was the ladies nose ring and the bulls broach. She may have tried to barter her ring and a few coins for the bulls broach, but he wasn’t having it when a battle ensued between the two leaving both parties broach-less, ringless and penniless.
That was a good hunt. Waiting on to use my minelab vanquish 540. I wait till everything dies down with the freezing weather then I go detecting. Enjoy watching your videos you explain a lot about what u r finding. Can't wait till next Friday to watch another.
Awesome video with some great finds! I knew that was a spigot for maple sugar, soon as you showed it. My Grandfather would make syrup…man I miss that, and him. Thank you and hope you have an awesome weekend 👍🏻
I can always rest assured I will be watching another terrific clip, dont think you've ever let me down. I love that you educate us along the way. Oh yes...kinda miss Eddie???, the rotten bananna guy.
My guess too for the fancy intricate thing is a brooch. What a lucky-find day today. 2 silvers, Indians, fancy thing, and to top it off... Vermont sap sappers. Great location idea. Thanks for the fun video today. Hope the treasure hunt planning is going smoothly. Looking forward to that too.
Good video Brad, enjoy all your videos, I also live in beautiful VT, and do medal detecting, but not to the extent that you do, I enjoy doing it for exercise and relaxation, lucky to still be able to do at 79 yrs. old. Take care and have a Happy Thanksgiving.
Good hunt! I love those surprise finds at the last minute! My only Barber quarter was found in a deep coin spill in farm yard. I had dug an Indian Head the week before and just happened to recheck the hole and had a high tone. I dug three more coins in that hole. Good hunt!
Don't know about other comments, but here's mine. The ornate piece you found reminds me of a latch for a jewelry box or a music box, something like that. The two posts on the one piece is what triggered that thought.
Wow Brad ! I would make a half dozen videos just at that spot alone. Big congrats on the Barber dime and Quarter. You have such great places to hunt up there. Maybe you can come down to Va. some time and hunt where it all started ! That would be interesting. take care. John
I remember having a fishing lure that looked like the one you pulled up first. The quarter is really nice. I don't know why, but that broken pieces that you found with the filigree reminded me of a chest I saw once. The piece could be slid up to the left to reveal the keyhole. Thanks for the fun video. maybe you could go back again while the water is still low.
It would be great if you could show how items you found in a previous dig cleaned up. Possibly how you can get the best results using whatever is best.
Another awesome video as usual! One of these bad weather weeks if you get a chance, show us “what’s in Brad’s camera bag”, I would love to know what you shoot with what resolution you shoot, and what you edit with. Your videos are incredible to watch, and very inspiring both from a metal detecting standpoint and a videography standpoint.
Your potential horse bridle piece is referred to as a roger ring. If you have four horses, a four in hand, they carried the reins from the driver past the wheel horses to the lead horses and kept the reins from getting tangled and caught.
Your demeanor in these videos makes watching these so, so pleasant. No stupid catch phrases or silly themed things we have to endure, just good findings and some history. Add to that the perfectly wonderful music and these are a real pleasure to watch.

Yep, no over acting or hype
So true! He's now my favorite detectorist, because of his down to earth ways. 🪙
I know right? I l❤ve this man.
I don't think metal detecting can be more entertaining. From the well crafted videos to the history lessons along the way and being a fellow Vermonter. Well done
Your pure joy and sense of discovery are such a blessing to all of us who follow your videos....thank you for sharing the adventures with us!
Some of the older fishing lures (spoons) have value with collecters

I’d love to see a video where you showcase your collection and how you display all these awesome artifacts!!
THIS!!!! ⬆️👍🏻
This!
Your cinematography is brilliant, the storyline well delivered. A joy to watch. Thank you.
Good morning Brad,. Salute to all veterans!
Thanks Richard. I’m an Army veteran and am currently in the hospice ward at Loma Linda Veterans Hospital waiting to go.
@@scottpeterson-hs3yf 😥😥 Sorry...
Opening music score is awesome! Always look forward to another amazing adventure! 🌞
What a great day. Thanks for sharing.
WOW!!! Brad this was absolutely an amzing trip!! SO cool thank you for sharing! Can not wait for the next video! Your my medicine in this crazy world and i thank you for that!
Amazing spot! The silver barbers alone would make my day but you went way beyond with the relics too! Awesome hunt! Ty!
What a great hunt today. Thank you for allowing me to share in your experience.
Really look forward to Friday's love watching your videos
I’m glad you filmed the actual hole dig on that barber quarter! I enjoy watching the shovel hit jackpot
Love the variety of finds but I've always been a sucker for old coins. Great finds!! Thanks for sharing!!
I love watching your content. Have a warm winter
Yours is an interesting hobby!👍🏼😊. Enjoy your videos.
Maple tree tap. That silver coin is gorgeous!

Thanks Brad, another nice Friday visit. Look forward to your videos and appreciate your labor....take care
1902 O Berber, too! That "o" on the back increases the value. GREAT find!!
It is so interesting to see those taps. Thankyou.
Nice Dig Day! I know I'm a Senior Citizen, because I right away knew what the maple taps and nose ring were. You stumped me with the horse tack, though! Gun Granni NY
I so look forward to your videos on a Friday (recent follower in Scotland, having done a massive catch up!) lol
I wonder whether it is either a Hair Comb or Brooch, either way, it is so detailed and pretty :)
As soon as I saw that first tree tap I recognized it! I have one just like it that I found in a local antique shop. I hope to find a few more and make a coat rack. They are really interesting pieces.
Great job Brad !!!!

Autumn must be spectacular in Vermont. Just from the glimpse of those trees with the red leaves I can only imagine the beauty of your surrounded by.

A "Daredevil" lure! Made my chuckle of the day.
Nice change from searching the woods, hey Brad?!! And you found some very cool coins and other goodies! Thanks for posting....Mike in wet Florida
Another great video Brad!
Awesome video Brad. I really like the relics found especially the (2) sugar maple taps, the horse tack, the IHP and the barber dime and the barber quarter.
Congratulations on the Quarter, Brad. Have a peaceful weekend.
Same old Brad i've watched for years, perfect tone and great to watch. Thanks for the upload and may your channel continue to grow.
Fabulous hunt with outstanding finds!
So happy you found such historic items! The coins? Awesome!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I have used the older tap you found! Of Corse the newer tin kind as well! 👍🏼👍🏼
i think the oxe pulled so hard it ripped the nose ring out, the ring flew across the farm and hit the womans broach . breaking it into pieces.
....and knocked her unconscious causing her pennies and dime to fall out of her pocket. When she staggered off she dropped her Barbara quarter. 😁
😂😂😂😂❤

Brad, Sugar spiles (taps) are not uncommon to find here in NH, amazed that you don't find more! great video, thanks for the weekend fun!

What a great little treasure adventure of finds that delivered where you were. I enjoyed watching this video. Good luck on your next search!!!
Really nice on the Barber quarter and it's a New Orleans mint awesome. You have a rare one there at least $20 value and the priceless of finding it.

As soon as you pulled that first tap out I was like maple tree tap! So cool there were two of them!
Those maple trees behind you are beautiful

I also had a lure like that when I was a kid, it was called a "Striper Swiper".

That's a red devil spoon. Pretty much my go to lure for general fishing. I'd be stoked on that find, haha
Two Maple Taps and Two Silver Coins...What a Day! Congrats:)
