- ASMR whispered unboxing of the GoPro Hero3 Black Edition. This is the first one I've ever owned. There will be more to follow including test footage, walkthrough of the functionality, LCD bacpac review and a look at the Android app that can control the camera via WiFi.
While this may not be the most informational video since it's not a review, I hope someone will find it interesting if not useful, or at the very least, relaxing and possibly ASMR and sleep inducing.
While I heard about the GoPro in 2011, I didn't think I would have much use for it back then since I already owned an HD camcorder at the time. But that was before I created ASMR videos. It was then recently brought up again thanks to the suggestions by a few viewers who thought it might help make for some interesting and unique ASMR videos. I think this has a lot of creative potential in regards to ASMR videos alone, such as whispered Geocaching (which I've always wanted to try), more Whispering Zombie POV, nature journeys, trying it out with the help of my assistant for some Professor Clemmons videos and who knows what else I can come up with, especially since it can be submerged under water.
For those of you who may not know what ASMR is or why I'm whispering, it stands for the Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. For more information, I strongly suggest searching Google, UA-cam and Wikipedia for "ASMR".

Normal is subjective, and I'd say the only thing ER is trying to do is have fun. He can do whatever he wants. I'll keep watching.
Coo!!! 1st person ASMR. The most cool thing would be you, playing in water like diving in water maybe... with it.
You might also invest in a DIY glidecam. It dramatically reduces shake and makes the camera movement much smoother. I made mine for only about $30 with instructions I found on the internet.

I think the geocaching idea is great
As someone who uses action cameras for motorcycling I've seen a lot of go pro unboxing and review videos...but yours is the first to give tingles :-)

they need to moutn go pros on everything, they are awesome little cameras. had 2 on me on my back packing trip, the one on my front was mostly face down in the dirt and the other got some good shots of the guys face behind me. they make everything entertaining. bikes, mountain climbing, motorcycles, cars, parkour, cofee cups, shoes, ceiling fan, EVERYTHING needs a gopro.
4k is 3840 pixels × 2160 (4 times the resolution of 1080) - it will be the new standard in consumer televisions, very nice future proofing on behalf of GoPro.
i've always loved unboxing videos even ones that aren't made with the intent of triggering tingles please do more of these :)

I think for your first video you should put the camera in a tub or something, and splash around and what not. That would be amazing.

Hey man, just a head's up to install the latest firmware update for this thing before using it too much. Apparently a LOT of people have had major issues with it that will be cleared up if you just update the firmware.

1080p, etc are just fancy ways of stating the resolution. For instance 1080p is a 1920×1080 resolution. The abbreviated name usually is the horizontal measurement. I think youtube added support of 4kp though. Not sure how it would effect upload time. Love the videos as always though =]

Be very careful with the audio.
It has horrendous audio, so to help with that, use the NON waterproof back door, AND use a microphone adapter. (GoPro sells one on their website.)

4kp = 4000 horizontal pixels as opposed to 1,080 or 720 horizontal pixels. Ultra high resolution.

Well, this is just a guess without looking into the background of the device, but if it's from a North American company, it would explain English and French for the most part due to Canada and the United States, though shocking that it lacks Spanish.
Please can you put it in some water. Go Pro's sound brings so many tingles when underwater.
Get the GoPro USB to 3.5mm jack input and you can use a external mic @EphemeralRift

What is your reason for not wanting to partner? I often have to sit through ads before viewing your videos so I would prefer for you to generate a little bit of revenue rather than UA-cam taking all the profits, that way it can help you to fund your ASMR videos. Hey, you never know you might be the first person to make a fully featured ASMR movie.
