New footage reveals Professor Clemmons conducting an experiment with his assistant / wife Margaret and an unknown test subject apparently withheld against their will. The Professor explores the sounds and aural minutiae of scissors, bubble wrap, pencil sharpening and rubber gloves to trigger ASMR, the Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. Yet another piece of the puzzle behind the mysterious Professor's research into the metaphysical properties of ASMR and its link to the occult, prior to his admittance and escape from the asylum and his subsequent unexplained disappearance.
This is an improv performance / fan fiction that is based loosely in the universe created by H. P. Lovecraft (I'm a huge fan of his works).

What is ASMR? Why am I whispering?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand motions, whispering and personal attention. My videos are not only meant to help induce ASMR or tingles, but also help provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer while helping to provide stress relief (especially for those suffering from depression, anxiety and even PTSD), help people sleep and even serve as a study aid.

I can't tell who is creepier, Clemmons, or Margaret. Because Margaret is directly creepy and Clemmons is sort of indirectly creepy
Glad to hear it helped you relax and thanks for watching!
Professor Lemmons is the best fruit
"Is that making you relaxed...?" "Is that triggering a response from you....?" Y--yes, P-Professor...
This was one of the very first asmr videos that I ever saw and the first to give me tingles. I come back to it every once in a while for nostalgia and to see how much has changed
I can't get over how incredible these characters are. Such diverse personalities, and each so incredibly well portrayed. It feels like I'm listening to a different person each time.
• 'New footage' this is all being released as though it is a news cast.
This vid is certainly an ASMR classic. Never gets old.
PROFESSOR CLEMMONS!!
Oldie but a goodie. That white noise really sets the mood and I love this character.
back in the original days of Ephemeral Rift, 5 years later...
Just under a decade later, and this is still my favorite ASMR video of all time! ER was the first ASMR channel I found back in the day (been following for nearly his entire time on YT), and remains my favorite creator to this day! Thanks for always helping me fall asleep, ER!
first prof. Clemmons video? this is cool, going back, seeing what made your characters into what they are today. is.... nostalgic
Boy, was this the opening of Pandora's box or what. Can't believe I've been following these videos for the guts of ten years.
so this is where it all began... what a ride we've been on
This video should be considered an ASMR classic
I felt like a test subject from Portal or Assassin's Creed! Great work!
Imagine being at a doctor and all he did was whisper crap to you and then sharpening a pen in your face
Thank you Margaret.
This is one of my first videos of ER. Weirdly enough, even after all this time it's still one of my faves ever.
