- I acquired these authentic vintage medical instruments and doctor's bag to be used as props for various videos, including the Plague Doctor, Professor Clemmons and more. Headphones are highly recommended as the audio is recorded in binaural with lots of ASMR ear-to-ear sounds.

Very cool! My wife was a nurse, so I remember some of your items. If you look at the bulb on your blood pressure cuff there is a chrome knob that bleeds the air off. If you tighten it, the cuff will build pressure. Instead of velcro, you have a snap system. There should be a peg or pegs at the other end of the cuff to snap into the holes for arm adjustment. I'm guessing you got this on Ebay? Looking forward to your role plays. Love your Danny character!

Those clampy things are called Hemostats. Hemostat literally means stop blood. They are for clamping severed blood vessels so the patient doesn't loose more blood through the particular vessel. =) Love your videos!

The clamps are for clamping of veins if they are severed to minimize blood loss. That or they can be used for a real good roach clip :) Great video, may need a nap after it now lol

On the blood pressure cuff, you have to tighten the metal knob by the pump so the air will actually go into the cuff. Then, you release the metal knob slowly to let the air out.
I looked up that sphygmomanometer (blood pressure gauge). I saw a very similar looking cowhide pouch/case from 1955. It was military issue...which could explain the blood stains! Anyway, this was a great video and I can't wait to see some plague doctor and more Professor Clemens videos!

I Believe those clampy scissors are gor holding shut veins and arteries when you perform surgery. That's a pretty nifty doctors bag!

Just a quick tip...when you're using the sphygmomanometer (blood pressure thing) your pump valve is open. If you turn the little screw on the side all the way it should work fine. Also, not that it really matters, but if you wear the stethoscope with the earbuds facing forwards into your ears you should hear more :)

The blood pressure cuff is what it's called. The mete is a sphygmomanometer.

EP from what I can remember from biology the "blood pressure thingy" is called a sphygmomanometer (sf-ig-mo-man-aw and then meter as in thermometer) for future reference as it actually sounds nice out loud :)

Good stuff mate. I'm not an electrician, but it seems as the wires to your speaker could use some cable clips. Just a tip, in case you have some viewers with OCD or something...

Don't unscrew the diaphragm from the scope before listening. The whole reason it's there is to create sound. And you took it off!
