    Thank you for the great video! I'm definitely looking forward to the stacking tutorial! Since dwarf captures tif's, I got a missing timestamp error with comet registration in siril :(
    Regarding the error you received ("Calibration may hit the limit"): In my experience I receive this error also when I position dwarf so that it may have to rotate too much to reach goto. Slightly reposition and it usually works right away for me.

      Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed the video. No time stamps with fits hope we will have when they will change the format to fits thanks for the info with the error. I think i position the telescope in the comet direction so it did not need to turn much.this is why i think i got the error because the comet was low in the sky.

    will you be trying the ZWO seestar? The 50mm aperture will have a massive advantage over the Dwarf 2.

    I'm enjoying your videos, thank you. I have a battery question. if you have a second battery andchange over to that second battery do you have to start over or will the dwarf2 keep it's settings and position?

    • @GalaxyArtMedia
      @GalaxyArtMedia  Рік тому

      Hello. Thank you! Unfortunately changing the battery you need to turn off dwarf 2 and when you turn back on you start from 0. Another way to inage longer is with an external battery but must do research if you want to usee external battery in winter many they do not work at cold temperature

    I'm in Australia.. We can't see it here.. Sad face. EDIT: I just fast forwarded Stellarium and it will be at 0 degrees on the 03/02 at 8pm. Then at 7 degrees on the 4/02. Then at 15 degrees on the 5/02.. So from the 03/02 I should be able to see it.

      Hello. I am sorry about that. I could try a simulation also, and see if alter on it will still be close enough to image, you usually need to be over 30 degrees altitude. I will make soon also channel membership and share a lot of my astrophotography to members including comets, as perks for joining as member of the channel, also with more expensive equipment.

      Hello. I think it should be visible later in where it will be more in the south. Have you checked stellarium using the date feature to see the position for the next months?

    • @picospace
      @picospace Рік тому +1

      Its heading south in about a week.... you should be able to see it as it leaves.

Then at 15 degrees on the 5/02.. So from the 03/02 I should be able to see it. You times will be a bit different but you should be able to see it soon.

      @@GalaxyArtMedia it’s not there yet/now. But neither is my scope! Can you tell me about taking a black picture. Does that stay within the Dwarf II? Or is there t something you have to do every time? Can’t wait. I use my wee Canon G5X mkII for landscape astrophotographery. Really enjoy the simplicity of it.

      @@DumfriesDik hello. Regarding dark frames i might make a short video about them. Usualy they should be taken every night you image at same temperature and settings as your images. For the live stack of dwarf 2 it works now even if you take them once even inside the house and the dark library remains saved on sd card. The dark library is curently removing only the hot pixels and not the rest of thermal noise. If you want to stack your images also in other software then is best to take other dark frames 20 or 25 at similar temeperature with your light frames (normal images) then download them from the sd card and use them when you stack the images
