I discovered this while the clamp was in my hand. Not on a hose to restrict it's rebound. That spring tension busted my fingertip wide open lol. I had just started liking those clamps too.
No, you don't need a special tool for everything. This is not a profitable way to run a business. You buy what you need and as you get more work, you slowly add more tools to help save you time.
Also align the clamp back to the impression on the hose.
Fuck yeah. This is a very helpful trick. I always squeeze and release until it pops back.
I'm embarrassed bc i did those things as it didn't release until it just released. Thank you for the screwdriver tip
Thank you for watching!
I love great industrial design.

keep your fingers out of the way , as the big ones bite.
Ask me how I know 🤓
Thank you, had this same problem yesterday. This helped a lot.
None of the ones I’ve seen have a way to lock them open!
Thanks
Thank-you!
this is amazing tip than trying to return the lock with squeezing. Thanks.
Thanks🎉
This was so helpful. Thanks for posting. I was so frustrated I had to come look it up and found this, think I'll give it another go in the morning🥰🫡
Hose clamp pliers aren't that expensive.
But they don't help with releasing the clamp....
Twist the screw driver.... twist
Where do you buy replacements
Worm drive old skools damage the hose, hence this new style.
the worm drive clamps will damage plastic radiator fittings, which is why they use these to maintain constant tension.
These clamps dig into the hose until they leak. My experience is these are the worst clamps I've ever used
Cut off junk factory clamp put real hose clamp on

I've never had a problem with them so I don't really give a s***
I've never had a problem with them either just don't over tighten
Pro tip... use the proper damn tools in the first place or don't do the job!

So admit that you have no common sense and ingenuity skills ? Not worth much if you can’t figure out stuff if the tools/situations are not 100% ideal
Whats the tool? I been looking for the right way to do this.
@romeothompson9389 commonsense ain't verry common any more
Spring clamps and that's obviously an American vehicle clamp. Imports really don't have that
