I also bought the kit and I’ve found the various pliers invaluable when working on any vehicle. Due to the fact that most of the pliers have a ratchet mechanism, it means you can stretch out a hose clamp and still have both hands free to work on the hose removal.

your video here might have been good, but you don't focus on the jaws. you focus on the handles mostly.
