Awesome tournament story! I laughed so hard that I now have tears running down my face and I think I may have to throw up. Shayne, it could be worse. I knocked myself out during a Tae Kwon do demonstration by kicking myself in the head. In front of a group of new students. I had just gotten my 2nd degree black belt a month earlier. And, I was 6 months pregnant and was showing that baby bump... so. 5 foot 2, bowling ball on toothpicks, blond woman kicks herself in the head and instantly goes unconscious. Yup! Non-black belts are typically allowed in the black belt division in tournaments. In fact, the blue and brown belts that fight up are some of the most dangerous opponents. Not because they are better at fighting, but because they lack the control to avoid doing injury prone things. A low kick to the groin may give the lower belt a penalty, but it can leave the other guy with a bruised bladder that can take more than a year to heal. (Ask me how I know 😮)

Stumbled onto this from Key & Peele, thought I'd listen to comedy while opening mail. Twenty minutes later I'm searching for more Shayne Smith, not having read the first letter. Guess that can wait til tomorrow.
Oh my word I am shaking so hard from laughing! 😂 I always die laughing every time I watch a Dry Bar comedy skit from Shayne. He’s a great storyteller and he has the best stories. That’s a winning combination in my book! I wish only the best to him. I hope he continues his comedy. The world needs more (clean!) comics!
The ninja turtle 7:50 🐢🥋🤣 “Michael Angelo is my favorite”
am I still in trouble?
The only problem I have with Shayne Smith drybar videos is that there need to be more of them. PLEASE 🙏
Shayne Smith is one of my favorite comedians. Really glad to see him back on the Dry Bar channel!
Shayne is so good at providing comedic perspective shifts without overdoing it!
I love the line at 18:35 “he’s gonna quarter circle forward me and it’s OVER!” Really paints the picture
He’s not what you think when you think Catholic convert lol but we’re so happy to have you Shayne!
This guy does comedy like i do conversations. Sets up a story, proceeds to go on the most insane tangent you're ever going to hear, and then bookends it with "so what i was saying was..."
And im so here for it. Give this man a special right this second!
5:48 "hurt my hip immediately" got me good, lmao. I don't think anyone who's held a pair of nunchucks for more than 2 seconds hasn't hit themselves with them, and METAL ones would hurt so bad lmaoo
I used to have a pair of wood nunchucks when I was a kid and there was a time when I would have perpetual bumps in my head from constantly hitting myself with it by accident.
I've owned both types and wood seems to pack more of a wallop.
I'm a simple man. I see Shayne Smith + Dry Bar Comedy and it's an instant click.
Same, all the way
Best comedian I have ever seen. Shayne Smith has such a crazy life and he's so ... Chill when he's telling us his stories. Like he's just fine with everything we're laughing our heads off at! I LOVE IT!
I have not heard of this guy until tonight. Absolutely hilarious. Would love to see a show of his.
Coming from studying six different martial arts over two decades. This is hilarious, and what makes it work is his self deprecating humor. Cracked me up!
Top notch delivery. The paced build up and well thought out punchlines to keep the crowd engaged to the final punchline is master level. Like he’s trying to get people rolling and make them explode at the end scanners style. It’s super effective. Thank you for the laughs.
Yes. Yes exactly. This dude gets itm
When I watch Shane, it brings me back to the crowd in highschool I hung out with. Always something ludicrous going on and he nails it. One of the funniest by far.
i was absolutely keeled over dead laughing and crying this entire time, 23 minutes of pure enthusiastic joy and hilarious bafoonery. Thank you!
I too was banned from karate for going too hard Who knew you could get kicked out for fighting
I been watching this guy move up and I'm glad to see he not giving up, he really does great telling his storys and jokes.
Ah man every time we get a new Shayne video it immediately makes my day. His stories and the way he delivers them is hilarious and magical
I love Shayne when he comes to dry bar. Easily my favorite comedian here.
He slays me, every time! Love this guy. He’s really kind of an inspiration
Bro's hilarious, it doesn't even matter what kind of a story he'd be telling, I know that I'm gonna laugh no matter what.
Yup! That was a banner day!
thanks for sharing, hilarious!
😅 OMG!
😂😂😂😂
Feel your pain. I knee’d myself in the face and it wasn’t pretty.😂😂😂
I don't think I can properly picture that without busting out laughing like a maniac 😂kick self in head stick figure blonde with a bowling ball baby bump
He keeps me in tears. He's so effortlessly funny and his delivery and storytelling is superb 😂
This literally sounds like an episode of "it's always sunny in Philadelphia "! Shayne Smith is hysterical. I've watched this like 5 times this week and laughed over and over...❤
With Mac's special karate noises😂😂😂

THIS is the Wild Card friend, fr…
I've NEVER laughed as hard as I do when I'm watching Shaynes stand up. Literally can't breath😂😂😂
This had me laughing like a crazy person. My wife was worried that I couldn’t breathe 😂😂😂
Shayne is, hands down, my favorite comedian. I met him in 2021, and he’s truly kind and hilarious. I was hoping we’d get another special from him. This made my night. 😂
The way Shayne tells a story is incredible! He is truly one of the finest comedians ever 👏👏
My absolute favorite comedian. So glad he's back.
I'd never heard of Shayne before, but I haven't laughed so hard and so often in a long time.
This young man is both incredibly gifted and incredibly hilarious.
Hands down my favorite comedian, I rewatch his Drybar double feature weekly & it never gets old.
Mountain Dew guy is hilarious, no doubt
Non-black belts are typically allowed in the black belt division in tournaments. In fact, the blue and brown belts that fight up are some of the most dangerous opponents. Not because they are better at fighting, but because they lack the control to avoid doing injury prone things. A low kick to the groin may give the lower belt a penalty, but it can leave the other guy with a bruised bladder that can take more than a year to heal. (Ask me how I know 😮)
How do you know?

Boo hoo
As a martial arts and anime nerd, this dude really speaks to me 😂
Fell asleep with autoplay on, woke to the sound of Jim Gaffigan. Looked at the comedian and thought I was dreaming.
I could barely breathe because I was laughing so hard! Never seen this guy before. Amazing!
I burst out laughing and started crying when you said "Michael Angelo is my favourite".
Love Shayne Smith. MORE of him PLEASE!!!!
When I watch stand ups, i never laugh. Usually it's chuckles. But this story made me laugh to tears. Delivered so well! Absolutely loved it 😂♥️
"... but I don't know that."
I lost it there. Great delivery and foreshadowing.
Skilled storyteller! One of my favorite comedians.
When you have women laughing hysterically at KOing someone with nunchakas and getting arrested you know you are funny af and a great story teller 😂👍
Nunchucks
And those are Utah moms!)
@@obfuscated3474I guess I spelled mine wrong regardless as it ends in us not as: nunchakus but that's the original English spelling and nunchucks is an alternate English spelling.
If you Google nunchucks VS nunchakus there are a bunch of articles

Those women all have sons who tried that and it was hilarious
So good to see Shayne. He is always going to tell great stories..❤️🤣❤️🤣❤️🤣❤️🤣❤️🤣
IKR? I can’t wait until he gets the inevitable sitcom about his no doubt crazy yet poignant life. Young Sheldon/Malcom in the Middle style.
I think I've listened to this at least three times a week for the last month. It's always funny. Especially the end.
The fact that he brought the nunchuck joke full circle, with the guy making his friends realize it was all true. Genius
I love dry bar comedy! These comedians think differently and in hilarious ways! Shayne is wonderful!
I love how his act isn't 99 percent involving the audience cause that got old SOOOO fast
This dude is hilarious. I love how he tells stories. When i heard him tell the story about the guy who robbed a wendys with an alligator i laughed so hard i could not breathe.
Same!! My kids thought I had gone insane and asked me if I was ok. I can't think of Wendy's or alligators now without thinking of that story. This guy is hilarious!!
Ditto. He's hands down, my fav comedian

Wendy's alligator is possibly my favorite stand up of all time. "And then he palmed an alligator!!!!" 🐊
Love this guy. Can't wait for more specials. The scared straight story is utter gold
I laughed so hard with this video!, the funny thing is that once he sets the story up, you KNOW where it's going and yet he makes you wait and wait for it and it's hilarious!
I keep coming back to this video. I don't remember how many times I've watched this; it's just amazing storytelling !
Shayne is funny as hell. From the way he talks we're on and have been on similar paths. I love his comedy.
