- This video covers glitches that still work in Stardew Valley! I'm using the Nintendo Switch Version 1.5 so these should work on every version of the game. You can duplicate items, get out of bounds, and access the mines on the first day. Enjoy!

Concerned Ape knows about the glitches, and has congratulated the player base on finding them and said he has no intention of ever patching them out
love him for that! Wanted to cover the name ID one where your name is "[913][812][112]" but it doesn't work on all versions like switch. Love the dialog you get when doing it, cause he knows, but couldn't cover it...

Lol I absolutely love how forcing Robin to open the shop is the real life equivalent of just going to a co-worker on a day off and ask them some help, or a store owner to get you something early and pay in advance, so being good friends they have no option but oblige to it lol
I'm playing a joja run and not befriending people unless i want to, so for me this run it's more like "Heyyy I know you're off today but I seem to be the only person commissioning 10k barns from you so if you wanna just go get started, you'll get to keep feeding your family."
I actually knew this trick before I was all that good of a friend to Robin. Working her on her day off for the sake of optimizational barn construction prevails!
honestly in my head it canonically makes sense that u can interact with Robin's shop on Tuesdays, it's like if Robin sees the farmer waiting and the dialogue's probably like "oh hey farmer, I was just about to head out to the aerobics club, you need my services or something?"

Ah the icecream stand one isn't a bug, its just the horses side gig. What do you think it does when you go to the desert, island or mines?

when you go in the secret woods as a new character and kill the slimes, there's a chance they'll drop a mahogany seed. if you plant that, you can chop it down with the basic axe
You won't have a basic axe at that point as you need to upgrade before you can even get in there
@@shadyshane8125 you can get into the secret woods using a chair. You can very much get a mahogany tree with a basic axe
yeah i thought it was funny he said you would skip the hardwood trunk in order to farm hardwood stumps.

Here's a tip for the 2 player dupe glitch - you don't have to time it!!
Hold A on one players controller, and on the other, have a standard tool selected (one without an A ability.) Then simply hold A on that character too!! Having a tool in your hand will make sure you always pick up the item on the first frame possible, and times it perfectly! You can easily duplicate a full stack in a couple of minutes this way and no need to time the pick up!!!
cut this very part of my voice over out. I couldn't get it to work, but I know it's possible so try this!
@@CWillyHD if it doesn't work, try offsetting your a press on the char with the tool in hand! Wait until your other has picked up and put down a couple of times and then hold on the second controller, it'll then work OK:)
I have a gtuner which lets me program my Xbox controller to do things. And I had it so it would press A on my controller at rapid speeds…….
Then I realized I did this along time ago for this game to buy things quickly when all you have to do is hold down the A button and it does it. Same with this glitch. Just press player one’s A first and a second later press A on player two. And yes have an empty hand or tool out for player two.
@@Jociaoftrades I found that empty hand doesn't work with holding, on switch at least! Because it will auto fill the item into that slot and try to put it down instead of picking up. The count in the bottom left will increase but your actual inventory won't:)
@@lacrimosaangel5606 what you do is you have the item in your inventory already for the second player the move their hand to an empty slot or an empty bar.
Speaking of the Statue of Perfection, I duped around 137, enough to fill up an entire big shed.

Fun fact that horse glitch also works on the corner of ponds, and so u can ride ur horse over ponds on ur farm. It’s nothing incredible but it was a funny few seconds when I discovered that on my game
Thank you for the "npc near shop" glitch. The multiplayer dupe glitch works on more than just items placed on a table. With a simple "1. 2. 3." countdown, you and a "friend" can dupe anything placed on the ground like sprinklers, kegs, or crytallariums. This also includes breaking down ore and trees at the same time, allowing double the loot. Havent tried on forageables
It DOES work on foragables i first discovered it while racing my brother on co-op trying to get the piece of leek lmao

TIP FOR THE QUARRY MINE: when you eat food you get a temporary invincibilty buff. so basically what you wanna do is bring a good amount of food or anything to eat, doesnt matter what it is, and time it so that you eat it before they hit you. the invincibility doesnt last long at all, only half a second, so you need to be good at it.
as someone who is starting over from scratch, the infinite statues glitch is going to be real fun to pull off
Me and my cousin actually found that if you break hardwood stumps at the same time you get double the hardwood. Was pretty useful to get both of us horses.
That actually works with anything you can break at the same time😅
actually, you can delete items if you're using the table dupe glitch- if you both have items and you place them down at the same time, one of them gets placed and one of them gets deleted. its not a super big worry because as long as you time it right, it won't happen, but it's good to be aware of.
The table duping can be done afk if you have a way to rig it. If you place the item on the table with the recipient of the duped produce's active inventory slot not the same one the item is in, just hold the grab button for both controllers. It's a lot simpler und much more consistent because timing is kicked out of the equation. You're welcome.

My friend and I found a co-op duplication glitch, where if two people try to break the same item at the same time, you will get two. I now have 100 statues of endless fortune.

Great shout out to other creators! One of my top, s-tier stardew UA-camrs is Wickedy Chickady. I first saw the Robin trick on one of her let's plays years ago, plus tons of other stuff. For tips and tricks, it's hard to beat Wickedy and Ezlily!

You can get ice cream almost every day at any season
Around 7pm Clint will go get a drink at Gus
He'll pass through the ice cream shop
Once he pass by it "hit the iron while it's hot"(should say "bite the ice cream while it's cold") and buy as much ice cream as possible
You missed a duping glitch. The one wear a player hits something like a furnace with a tool, and basically both players hit it at the same time helps dupe those items. Honestly I believe it works with the statue of perfection.
Yes. The Co-op dupe glitch works on Xbox, but it must be local co-op. So on days there isn’t anything going on, I tell my fiancé to log off so I can spend the day duping the things we need. Note: saplings are a great item to dupe for money at the beginning you can even get them on day 1 to become a millionaire on day 2. Then you can dupe treasure chests for big money and I believe the legendary fish.
The table one works on xbox in online. The person that is placing and picking up the item just has to manually press the button instead of holding it.😅

If you ride a horse and run into the corner of a fish pond, you can walk on it. Discovered it on accident.
I always thought having multiple statues of perfection was a mod or something. I should try this glitch!
another glitch you missed, in qi's walnut room once you unlock the ability to trade golden walnuts for qi gems, spend all your walnuts on qi gems then run /recountnuts. This gives you your walnuts back and your able to repeat & get infinite qi gems wih no effort
How to avoid skulls in Quarry mine better: Use block when holding sword, it will deflect them backwards.
Just a tip for ur item dup with co op if the 2nd player holds a sickle the dup is easier

Me and my mate were messing around with table dupe on pc but we were having problems at first until we found that if you were holding a sword or other item excluding the item you were duplicating and right clicked when it showed up and your friend would just place the object at a certain speed.
If you are the server host it often worked better to be the one who picked the item up as it didn’t show up on the table consistently for the other person.
Btw the co-op on where he duped on table u can have 1 hold the thing u want too dupe and the other hold a tool works better
I believe the horse-fence glitch works on fish ponds as well. Not as useful, but good to know about.
If your inventory is full & you collect something else & don't want to throw it in the rubbish bin.Then you can click next to the ok sign & the item or items will be left on the ground. So you can put yout inventory into a chest & then go back to the place that they were dropped & collect the left over items.This you can do on the switch.
How do you get off the chair hopping forward ? It always goes to the side for me

Im actually playing this game for the first time. Literally on Year 1 first Fall. Not tried any of them yet but I wonder if they work on console as well?? Ps4 to be exact. This game is really fun and it's hilarious as well. I'm on my way to being a pale ale brewer/farmer 😅🙏
My favorite glitch sadly was patched in 1.14 iirc. It's the fishing journal glitch, I raked up thousands of gold from that glitch alone 😔
Another 2 player dupe glitch is to hit a placed item down at the same time. I've duplicated iridium sprinklers, crystalariums, the statue of perfection, and the coffee maker.
It doesn't seem to work on furniture items though. Probably beacause of the furniture catalog you can buy from Robin where you get furniture for free.
Another is if two people hit a rock or stump at the same time on the last hit you get double resources as well.
I was kinda familiar with these but thank you cause I didn’t know most of this. These involve real co-op (not just split screen), and my roommate has stardew so I’ll probably make a video on those glitches soon! I’ll include your comment :)
@@CWillyHD Awesome! The only thing is when duping placed items both characters receive an item but only one character gets an extra. So one character can place while the other gathers. So count to three and hit at the same time. You can dupe really quickly using this method!

Tip for golden scythe, use the dup glitch to dupe loads of food and then go there.

Just tried to to the name item code glitch on switch and it doesn't work. I Googled it, and apparently it's been wiped completely from many versions of the game, depending on what you play on.
I randomly discovered one day that if you run vertically with your horse, and then suddenly turn horizontally, you can phase right on through fences on your farm. Lol like it just happened and it confused me so much, now I use it all the time

When I discovered the item dupe glitch, I created a new character but the Gus conversation spam didn't work for me. So instead I used a previous character who had already built a deluxe coop, sold all my animals, bought 12 more and named each one the item code I wanted. It's not as fast as spamming a conversation but naming every chicken the stardrop code can net a HUGE amount of gold. 👍👍
*Edit*- I discovered an additional glitch while using this method to obtain stardrops. Since most stardrops in the base game are consumed automatically when you receive them, I found that on occasion if I had an item equipped when receiving a "name-drop", they would switch. I would consume the item, get the energy boost, but still have a stardrop in my inventory. First time it happened, it was my scythe, which was removed from my inventory and placed in the mayor's lost and found box. The second time was the galaxy sword. It never showed up in lost and found so I had to by another one. Third time was my ax. It respawned. So note that if you want to use the "name-drop" method to get infinite stardrops, make sure to have an item or edible equipped that you won't miss. 👌
I found another duplication glitch in the mobile version. If items are put in the lost and found, if you collect the items, close the menu, and open the lost and found again, the items would either be back, or be multiplied. I used this to get over 10k gold in year 1 fall.
Just did this clip but with the horse stable, went through it, so I searched it up but yeah you can do it with the stable stable too
Do the supplication glitches still work on the Switch? I know a bunch of other glitches were patched.
If you play Co-op, you and your friend can scam robin. So long as you have shared money, and you both have the proper amount of materials. All you have to do is at the exact same time, go to robin’s, open the building thing, and build two things at once. So not only do you get two things at the same time, but you can actually trick the game. For example me and my sister only had 35,000g, but we both upgraded our barn and coop to deluxe and tricked the game into thinking we had enough.

How do you glitched out of the entrance of the quarry mine or are you just stuck? And have to perish in the mine to get out ?

I didn't know the chair glitch worked on switch!! I tried it before and it didn't work for me. I'd have to start over on a new farm to try it out again
Really considering making a iridium statue/mega forge in my house void since you can place things there
For the statue duplication you dont need to place them all down every time, you can just break the original, get the new one, place it, break it, repeat

Depending on the type of farm you have, you won't start off with any chairs.
Actually I know a better Dupe Glitch you can dupe up to 36 different items at a time and they can be any item you put in a chest, or works on all versions except mobile, it's been in the game since launch, and still works today[Full Guide In reply]
What you need
- Two Players
-A Mill with something ready to harvest
-Full Inventory for at least one player
-whatever you want to dupe
Steps
1- ensure mill has something ready to harvest weather it's rice or flour it doesn't matter
2- One player has a full inventory, and opens mill first, this player fills mill with the items they want to dupe
3- player two opens mill while player one has it open
4- both player with hover over the first item in the mill, and count down from 3 and both will hold the take one item button until the mill is almost empty(once emptied you will have to remill something to open mill again)
5- As Long as the mill always has something left inside it you can do the dupe Glitch without prep forever

There is actually no timing involved. One player has the item selected, and the other just needs to have a completely different item selected and then perform the glich as normal. It works that easily.
FunFact: some daggers push you backwards
Me and my friend accidentally found another duplication glitch but on a much larger scale where we could duplicate full inventories, got rich real fast and spent it at the casino :D
I dont remember exactly how it works, but I do know it includes going into the lost and found thingy in Lewis' house and taking their items from their inventory while theyre logged out, I forget the other steps tho

Me and my friend who play co-op call the co-op duping glitch our counterfeiting operation and we make lots of jokes about it.
the fence glitch ALWASY happens too me and I dont even do it on purpose, in fact, I use a LOT of these glitches. not all of them tho.

there's a way easier way to dupe statue of perfection. if you use co op and both people hit with pickaxe at same time, it will dupe the statue!

dupe omni geodes first maybe like 50-100, crack them at clints and hopefully you get a prismatic shards and irridium and make irridium bars and duplicate that and prismatic shards. its so much easier if you're a beginner. also if you play on nintendo by urself just connect with another controller no need coop.

I would look up the “statue of perfection” on google or the stardew wiki. you need to make a certain amount of progress in the game, but it’s a complex point system that’s hard to explain.
8:20 I actually did that and just pelted Marnie with explosive ammo from the wall XD Imagine if you were just.. Well staring at a microwave and then a bomb just phase's through the wall and hits right in front of you, Just BARELY hitting you. That would be terrifying, At least i'm not actually hitting her directly with bombs but i've probably traumatized her XD
