Yes, Roger Moore went off to do James Bond, and that was the end of this series. I was not happy about it.

I read somewhere Lou grade was ready to finance a second series. Roger Moore was far better in the saint and this show rather then playing James Bond @samflory5541

I did not really like him In James Bond . This show and the saint were definitely his best two by a country mile

I heard about this series as a kid in 1971. I've never seen an episode until just now. Ha! I see that I didn't miss much. Tony Curtis was a no talent "pretty boy" and a "has been" by 1971. He ruins this show. He can't act worth beans. Even the filming in France doesn't help this hokey plot.
