I passed with Rob . years n years ago . when he started out.. fabulous guy and instructor ..calm and clear .. inspires confidence ... I always say to myself. "shut the door" when approach to turning left . toured Europe Scotland Ireland lots of times now and robs voice always in my head keeping me safe .... cheers rob . I'm on a cb1000r. these days
Good to hear from you Dave. New we would convert you to "Honda" lovely bike. Im glad to hear you are enjoying riding, and please to hear that some of what we coached you is still with you. Safe riding fella, feel fee to pop in for a coffee anytime your in the area :-)
I passed my DAS module 2 (with 2 minors: going too slow) today. I passed here in London and i can say that watching (over and over) these videos got me through. The training is top notch and the commentary is extremely helpful. I'd say that without these videos I'd not have passed.. As I was riding I was saying to myself: "New road, check my mirrors, cancel my signal, command position" All driving schools should teach like this. I can't praise the training enough. You have my sincere thanks! I just wish there was some way I could show my appreciation!
Well done Michael, Im glad the videos helped. Thats what they are there for. All we ask is you keep watching, liking, sharing and enjoy the biking. Keep in touch fella and safe riding. Search Google for RJH in Manchester and a 5* review would be welcomed :-)
Michael Griffiths How was it taking it in London mate? I took my mod 2 for the first time in Manchester but failed and have it booked for London. Never ridden in London before, so any pointers?
Just passed my mod 1 and mod 2 first time. It wasn't straight forward, but my advice.... • watch these videos and others available from other good training establishments and learn from mistakes made by other learners • get some training with a good instructor and listen to what he says • be prepared to take criticism and learn from it • get to know the roads, speed limits, road markings of possible routes on test day • try commentary while you ride, talk yourself through hazards and junctions methodically • if you do it in winter, make sure you are warm enough, it will help you focus on what's important • don't expect to be puppy walked while learning. It's a steep learning curve and it's going to be up to you in the test to get it right, there's only so much an instructor can do for you so nip those bad habits in the bud early on Remember, it's less than an hour of sharp focus on every aspect of riding. Practice periods of intense concentration on practice rides. Get through that 45 mins on your test day and you've got many hours out on the road to look forward to.
+RJH when ur getting lessons do u normally take more than one person out for a lesson like in the video? I thought all across the UK it was just individual lessons between one learner and the instructor
I watched it all, and I have realized all the instructions regarding road safety etc and signs, is pretty much what a cyclist has to do, and I realized I am constantly doing life savers like no tomorrow. Good stuff.
YES YES YES I bloody passed Mod 2 today , A MASSIVE THANKS TO YOU AND YOUR VIDEOS , BRILLIANT TUITION. I kept repeating what you always say . ➡️“ New road .*➡️commad position *. ➡️Check mi mirrors ➡️* cancel mi signal ➡️ Brilliant, thanks so much ☑️☑️☑️
RJH Motorbike Training Manchester , Great help , everything on your videos is exactly what the examiner looks for , mine said the MOST important thing is to LOOK before Every single time you change positions, So I watched your video on my test day and applied it Fantastic mate cheers Safe riding 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Absolutely superb tutoring...If I still lived in Didsbury I would be using you next week - sadly I am in sunny Brighton so I can't - have CBT on Sunday then Mod 1 and Mod 2 week later after daily training with riding school ( not ridden a bike for 30 years) - a bit nervous but very excited to " New road, checkin' me mirrors, cancel signals!" love it :-) - your videos are a wonderful compliment to my on-road training - many thanks
Another inspiring video . Just got my full licence and I have to say with a good instructor and watching all your clips my life was made easier on the test . Your videos are very clear to understand and you teach very well indeed . Thanks Rob and if anyone is reading this I highly recommend these videos and RJH.
Taking my mod 2 in Bredbury soon - like to watch these vids every couple of days gets your mind use to telling yourself what you should be doing and thinking and helps relax you as your prepared for the ride/test - feelin confident hope I pass first time good luck anyone else doing theirs
+RJH Motorbike Training yeah I passed today mate bit of a blur the test but must done of ok - such a relief - I can now blow the dust off my garaged cb500 👍
The wrong thing about the UK test is they focus you so much into a strict "MIRRORS SIGNAL MANEUVER". Checking mirrors constantly, you end up missing critical signs like speed limits, directions ect. You end up going into auto pilot and it just goes in 1 ear out the other and end up miss hearing what they was on about.
Thanks for making your videos available. I like the way you speak to your pupils, it inspires confidence. I watched them over and over again just learning and then practicing on my 125. Sadly I couldn't come to you as I live in Somerset, but when I did find a good school like yours they said I was either a natural or I had had some tuition! The video preparation helped me to pass my DAS first time just before my 51st birthday and I now ride a CBF 600 and a 2002 Pan European. On here today 'polishing' my skills. Thanks again.
This is good news fella. Where are you from in Somerset? I ride a 2003 PAN and I love her. I have owned 3 in total, and rode her through 8 countries into Spain in 2015 for my 50th birthday. Glad you like the videos and that they have helped.
I'm near Bridgwater. The Pan is so easy to ride, I was on it a week after getting the A test. My Pan has been garaged for a couple of weeks, getting a major service. Brakes are binding currently so I am replacing pistons and seals in the 3 calipers, and the master and slave cylinders. Only on 39k miles so there should be plenty of adventures ahead together. One of the best videos I've watched on UA-cam. Preparing for my MOD 2 test in 2days in Wolverhampton with NFL, good instructors (almost as good as you). Subscribing for future use even after I pass. Thanks again for the uploads.
+Ben Stah it went well mate. It one one of the best rides. Had a lesson with my instructor before the test and it helped me relax and calm my nerves... As long you make your observations and have a smooth ride you will be fine. All the best with your training.
+Ben Chigi Awesome and congratulations! The motard family is now +1 ;) By the way did you do direct access or A2 then A? Also (last question I promise) what bike did you do the test on? Thanks!
+Ben Stah thanks dude, can't wait to get on the bike once I find good insurance. I went for the direct access, took me a lot longer than anticipated due to work commitments. Did the test on a Bandit 600. Stick to one specific bike during your training, doing that helped me get used to the clutch, handling and even braking.
brilliant, detailed lesson....this has improved my driving! I want to learn to ride a motorcycle safely. Will hope to do the cbt asap and start the journey to full license. Thank you for the video.
I'm hopefully going to be doing my bike test next year sometime, complete beginner. But I want to do my full test for 600+ Bit nervous to be honest but watching these videos I think I will be coming here! Nice calm instructors.
Passed my Mod 2 yesterday, my advice to anyone going for it or retaking is to remain calm about it. If you're relaxed you will ride the way you ride and not a nervous bag of bones. Show them you're serious about safety and enjoy it, at the end of the day it's fun!
Yes indeed, will be keeping my 2004 Honda CBR 125 as it's cheap and fun, big bike is a Hyosung GT650r. Not everyone's first choice but wanted a V-twin! Your video's helped me alot to feel more confident during the test. Thank you
Fab news. This is why I post the video's. Good luck with your objectives, keep us posted and keep watching, sharing and commenting it really does help us. Im glad you find the videos useful.
been watching all your videos and it's helped massively, thank you! Just booked my DAS and went for an assessment ride to see how well I was riding to see how many days I require. Thanks to you the instructor said I was the best this year! Damn they must have been bad lol If I pass I owe you a beer or two :-)
Christ got my licence in 10 minutes from a Traffic Cop on my Norton 750 years ago. Bit more observation now days but far more traffic on the road now. 1970 lol.
RJH Motorbike Training Manchester I started on a Kawasaki Versys, then a BMW s1000xr then Rs1200 then a Triumph Sprint and in the last week I’ve now got a Kawasaki ZZR1400.
RJH Motorbike Training Manchester I have to add I’ve had these bikes one at a time and not a collection unfortunately! Lol. I could never find quiet the right bike to suit all my needs lol. The ZZR maybe different - quick, torquey yet surprisingly comfortable for someone approaching middle age lol.
i have failed my mod 2 both times at roundabouts. although i have been driving 25 years.frankly its doing my nut in. both my test have been at 8.30 in rush hour. road markings are covered by traffic and faded. even looking at google earth sattelite pics arent making things much clearer @ bristol.
R King Thats what we like to here, watch them and take what you need to put into practice :-) Lots of others too. Share, Like and Subscribe thanks. Good luck with your Mod 2. Where are you taking it?
nice video , my mod 2 was cancelled today(for tomorrow)so got it in 2 weeks @chester .will have to keep my eyes open as i live in liverpool and dont know any of the routes.1 point i think Pablo needs to be told why we have brake lights, he very rarely used them.
+markekerr Oh dear why was it cancelled? Brakes? Paolo went on to pass his test and is now riding. I certainly don't recall him not using his brakes often. Keep us posted as to your test ok
+RJH Motorbike Training yes the video are very good help I'll keep watching them till I do my test I loved your laugh the the guy in front was in the bus lane
Passed my CBT, looking on buying a Honda CG 125 as well sometime next week. Just bought all my gear, now I need an insurance quote and a place to put the actual bike.
Thanks Dave, its one of our early video's and one of our highest viewed too. There is a lot you can take from this video, put into your own riding and will only help you. Glad you approve. Where are you based fella?
I'm in Wolverhampton or I'd definitely do my DAS with you, I like your manner with the riders, really calming! I've been on a Honda S-Wing scooter for a few years and 3 cbt's but fancy a geared bike now
maybe not exactley the same but it helps if your used to riding a road push bike...your already used to indicating with hands signals looking for hazards etc - and never using your brakes in a corner school boy error.
+RJH Motorbike Training Based in the North East, rode bikes 20 years ago for couple of years, decided aged 49yrs it was time to do something for myself instead of for the business, which is normally where my money goes :/ I did my CBT a few weeks ago, doing lessons, passed my theory today, have the part 1 on the 22nd.. what I do is.. I watch your video's each at least once, I then often will play your video's while I'm working away at my computer without viewing it, I find it helpful as it drums things into my head by keep hearing it if that makes sense. When I pass my test, your guy doing the video's will have played a big part in it I believe. Thank you :)
Can you elaborate on mini roundabout at 7:39?Is indicating on approach necessary? Indicating on approach in this particular situation wouldn't benefit anybody, and could confuse drivers behind making them think you're about to stop just before that roundabout....at least in my very humble (and probably wrong) opinion.
Yes you must indicate on the approach to a mini roundabout just the same as a standard roundabout. The difference with a mini roundabout however is you do not need to provide the secondary exit signal as mini roundabouts are too small for this.
+RJH Motorbike Training Hello thanks for your interest. I actually failed that first Module 2 test (foot dropped down on a right turn - never did that through lessons). However I've since PASSED my 2nd Module 2 exam! Plus have begun riding my ZX6R. I've now been following alot of your videos. INVALUABLE tips and techniques for new bikers such as myself ! Fantastic work, plus you've made so many videos too. Thank you so much.

Thanks :) Ah nice! To be honest, the test was just like a casual ride around Gloucester and back! It was over as I just started to enjoy the ride and views of Brookthorpe! Was looking at a FZ6R. But managed to get a really decent NT650V off a family member. Going to stick with that for a while until I can get a decent fazer ^_^
In Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. Had my first day of training today and will be taking the mod 1 this Wednesday and the mod 2 the following week if all goes according to plan :)
Hi, I'm looking into doing my mod 1 and 2 soon, I'm just wondering if this amount of commentary and advice is normal on a test? it seems like too much "help" to me, like anybody with basic bike handling skills and a pair of ears can pass?
Lizzy Trubshaw I have a feeling this person is their instructor and not the examiner as the examiners will only give you which directions they won't tell you to use observations or lifesavers etc
Very useful video. Thanks! What are your thoughts on traffic filtering during the test? I did my CBT and have been riding for a few months commuting everyday to and from work. It's about 15 miles each way at rush hour that involves dual carriage A roads and city center riding. I learnt to filter after observing more experienced riders and watching some of the police tuition videos on UA-cam. There are a few situations in the video where I would have tried to filter but I see the students making no such attempts. I plan on taking DAS fairly soon. Thanks.
When you say "new road, check your mirrors, cancel your signal". why do you need to check the mirrors before canceling the signal? what is it that you're looking for when checking the mirrors, and does this affect when you should cancel your signal? or is this just following the mirror, signal, maneuver. Thanks
Good question, a couple of reasons why. One reason for test purposes is on a module 2 test one of the reasons (popular) that people fail is they leave their indicators on, so using the system new road, command position check mirrors and cancel indicators helps get into a routine of cancelling them. The more important one for day to day reasons is to ensure you are aware what has followed you, in order to be aware of traffic behind at all times.
RJH Motorbike Training right that makes sense, my dad's an instructor so he's allready got me thinking the command position etc but hadn't heard of the new road saying, so on my ride to school this morning I was saying that through my head each time I turned, thanks for replying
Question for you- something I struggle with due to year of driving a car... The two second rule? Does that apply in all situations? E.g. In traffic crawling? Or coming up to a round about for example and a car is in front waiting for a clear gap to pull out? Can I then close up to the bumper or?
I would use the 2 second rule as a general guide and at 30mph and above. Traffic crawling or under 30mph be able to stop within the distance in front of you and as a guide here 10mph/1 car length, 20mph 2 car length. At junctions and traffic lights/stationary allow enough room that you can ride around the vehicle if needed.
Ok thanks for your time.. It would be good to see a video specifically on round about, lane selection, bike positioning etc Signal timing etc etc Thanks for reply much appreciated
Child being molested at 16:44 is a little worrying!! :D Otherwise great video, I felt I was on the bike and learned a lot from it, thanks for sharing and thanks for making us better riders. The test is just the means to the end, you don't become a good rider overnight, you become a better rider each time you get on the bike if you heed the warnings and observe good road etiquette ALL the time, not just for the 30 so minutes for Mod 2!!
the mirrors to slow down mirrors to pull away on the test really irritates me. when riding through London daily i have no interest in what is behind me except when im changing lanes. sometimes the car in front will slow and then suddenly stop if i checked my mirrors when he started to slow to see if a moron is up my butt im not looking at the car ahead which is much more dangerous than looking at the car behind. lucky for me the car driver behind is not doing the same or he may hit me. when pulling away the only thing that is going to be in my way is some moron trying to overtake on the lights and the only people that have ever done that to me are cyclists so if they want to be run over fine crack on. Im considering getting a rider scan and to be honest it would be a lot safer to glance at that then it would be to turn my head away from where im going but that doesn't matter the the people who run the tests they want what they want and that's it. thanks for the video its helpful i will be retaking mod 2 soon and appreciate you making these videos
+Mark Seals323 We would generally see a new rider taking up to 6 days to obtain their FULL motorcycle license. That said everyone is different, we all learn in different ways. I would always recommend completing your CBT before you committ to a full course, this gives the Instructor a better idea of your requirements, but as important you can see the school before you part with your hard earned cash. If you are in the North West our details can be found at www.rjhgroup.co.uk
I'm in London do have courses here? If not do you have schools you could recommend? Your vids really good and are giving me the confidence to take my test. You said about 6days are they consecutive? And will i be able to ride any cc. Thank you for your reply this has has been more than helpful.
+Mark Seals323 Dont know any personally however search this directory begin-motorcycling.co.uk/ If you need any helpgive us a shout ok. If you are 24 you can complete Direct Access (ride any size bike) We have good B & B's locally if you fancied a little holiday = LOL = Get your Bike License
Nice one, and great lesson too. Im going to be looking to move up from a CBT and considering i live in Manchester and use to live in Atherton lol this was a handy watch
It's a shame you havnt got the bredbury test route on here. Got my mod 2 in October and it's in bredbury. It has taken 3 months to get me booked in for mod 2 which is a joke really
We use Bredbury, Macclesfield, Blackburn, Atherton and St Helens. Your training school must only use Bredbury? We can get trainees Mod 1 and 2 tests within a couple of weeks.
RJH Motorbike Training that's good to hear... I can honestly say your videos have helped me a hell of alot so thanks for that and keep up the brilliant work 👍
RJH Motorbike Training I did my mod 2 today at Atherton as a slot was available and I passed... so glad the pressure is off me now haha thanks for your videos again and they helped me massively
A Lifesaver, Shoulder check, Blind Spot check are pretty much the same thing. A Lifesaver before you move off? A Lifesaver before you change lanes? A Lifesaver before you overtake? Hopefully that will help, although there is a great video on our channel explaining rear observations.
Relax and enjoy the experience. Don't let nerves effect you, its normal. Forget about the Examiner and "just get on with it" Keep us posted, where are you taking your test??
+RJH Motorbike Training passed mate, thank you! Your videos helped a lot! I was 110% committed and passed all my tests first go! Very pleased thanks for your content and ride safe:)
+RJH Motorbike Training cheers I'm looking at sorting my provisional out soon and getting a bike when I'm 17 and do my cbt possibly over the summer. Thanks for all the videos they're helpful watched a video earlier of the two men who couldn't speak English trying to do the Highway Code! Haha
I think it's wrong to say you didn't need to use the indicator because there is no one there so it's not beneficial. You never know who is looking to cross the road or the nutty biker doing 100 mph better to be safe than sorry. I always indicate.
If you take effective observations then you would see "who is looking to cross the road or the nutty biker doing 100 mph " and take the necessary steps. If no one would benefit from the indicator why would you indicate? As a matter of interest what difference do you think indicating to tell the " nutty biker doing 100 mph" would make??
RJH Motorbike Training You can be observant but what if you cannot see the potential risk so why take it? Also the nutty biker might see you indicate from a distance and give you more space. The guys in this video looked right but didn't look left for pedestrians that can run out but pedestrians might see your indicators. I know it's not likely but why risk it? You don't go through red lights when there are no cars so indicate also when there are no cars.
It doesn't actually matter how many times you take your test, because failing it will only improve your riding. Plus the test is pure luck. My examiner was a real job's worth, and it all depended on what mood he was in on the day.
@@RJHMotorbikeTraining absolutely. I passed on my fifth test. It wasn't particularly hard, but I lost my confidence a couple of times. But once I was made aware of my faults, I learnt from them and they didn't happen again. And after spending all that time and money, I couldn't just stop.

Tim Labuscagne An Instructor is able to take 2 trainees on the road at once
Jacob there was one instructor and two students when I did it.
it's a just little bit cheaper if you go 1 on 2, about 100quid less than if you did 1 on 1
Brings back memories- I passed at Atherton with thanks to RJH exactly this time last year !! well done guys !

I'm hopefully going to be doing my bike test next year sometime, complete beginner. But I want to do my full test for 600+ Bit nervous to be honest but watching these videos I think I will be coming here! Nice calm instructors.
We have a good record fella. Where are you based?
Bolton mate
On our doorstep fella. We use Kawasaki ER6n for DAS. www.rjhgroup.co.uk/training-school-bikes/
Passed my Mod 2 yesterday, my advice to anyone going for it or retaking is to remain calm about it. If you're relaxed you will ride the way you ride and not a nervous bag of bones. Show them you're serious about safety and enjoy it, at the end of the day it's fun!
+Lewis Jordan Well done on your pass. Good words there too. Have you got a bike?
Yes indeed, will be keeping my 2004 Honda CBR 125 as it's cheap and fun, big bike is a Hyosung GT650r. Not everyone's first choice but wanted a V-twin! Your video's helped me alot to feel more confident during the test. Thank you
+Lewis Jordan Thanks for that Lewis, are you local to Manchester? Perhaps see you on one of many rideouts?
Great video and as many others have said, Rob inspires confidence.
Wow this perspective as a video really convinced me I can do it, will be doing my theory soon and begin the modules afterwards for the A2 :)
Fab news. This is why I post the video's. Good luck with your objectives, keep us posted and keep watching, sharing and commenting it really does help us. Im glad you find the videos useful.
im not even a biker but i enjoy watching these vids, many thanks
I like it. We might convert you then :-)
i think you might just ;)
been watching all your videos and it's helped massively, thank you! Just booked my DAS and went for an assessment ride to see how well I was riding to see how many days I require. Thanks to you the instructor said I was the best this year! Damn they must have been bad lol
If I pass I owe you a beer or two :-)
Fantastic news, maybe our videos helped in your assessment too. Keep watching and let us know how you get on.
+RJH Motorbike Training definitely helped! thank you so much. will let you know how I get on, only if I pass haha
Best this year?? What was it 2nd of January 🤪
Christ got my licence in 10 minutes from a Traffic Cop on my Norton 750 years ago. Bit more observation now days but far more traffic on the road now. 1970 lol.
The good old days. All different now.
The past is a foreign country.
Thanks for all your videos RJH help me get through the direct access test first time
+Pezzer 81 This is fantastic news, im glad the video's helped. Now for bike hunting? what are you looking for?
Great video/excellent instructions which helped me to pass my mod 2.
One love🇯🇲
Good news and well done :-) Where did you pass and have you a bike lined up?
Fantastic. Where did you pass? Have you got a bike lined up?
Passed my test in Oxford and have been riding a Honda CBR600RR since..
These videos certainly helped my training 4 years ago!
Good to hear. What you riding now?
RJH Motorbike Training Manchester I started on a Kawasaki Versys, then a BMW s1000xr then Rs1200 then a Triumph Sprint and in the last week I’ve now got a Kawasaki ZZR1400.
@@matthewjones3395 Fantastic selection of bikes. You've done well.
RJH Motorbike Training Manchester I have to add I’ve had these bikes one at a time and not a collection unfortunately! Lol. I could never find quiet the right bike to suit all my needs lol. The ZZR maybe different - quick, torquey yet surprisingly comfortable for someone approaching middle age lol.
nice to see this from the instructors position, really helpful for when I take my a2
+James “the cyclist” ireland Glad you like the video. When and where are you taking your tests!
Ill be using Anglia rider training and as soon as i have the money
Might be an older video but still useful for me when I'm doing the DAS course soon!
some good content which is still relevant
i have failed my mod 2 both times at roundabouts. although i have been driving 25 years.frankly its doing my nut in. both my test have been at 8.30 in rush hour. road markings are covered by traffic and faded. even looking at google earth sattelite pics arent making things much clearer @ bristol.
+neilpinkett Soory to hear this fella. What are you failing for?
Just done my theory test and cbt doing a day out on a 600 on Sunday thanks for this video really helps :)
+PluGPoPPeR Marc Glad you like the videos. Where are you training?
+RJH Motorbike Training Able Rider Motorcycle Training
Great instructing there
+Trigger HappyTV Thanks. Are you learning? Riding?
agreed, fantastic instructor
Thanks for sharing. Great video. Nice calm and concise instruction. Top work mate.
Thanks fella, are you riding?
+RJH Motorbike Training yes. Just done my mod1 yesterday. Just one more hurdle to jump :)
Good man. And good luck.
Very helpful video for my upcoming MOD 2!
Keep us posted as to your test ok
can't wait to book my test in January then I can get my bigger bike out
+michael campbell Where are you doing your test?
Portsmouth mate to far to get to you lol
+michael campbell Good luck fella, keep us posted and glad the video's help
+RJH Motorbike Training yes the video are very good help I'll keep watching them till I do my test I loved your laugh the the guy in front was in the bus lane
+RJH Motorbike Training can I got straight for the mod 1& 2 with out doing the 3 day course? ?
Passed my CBT, looking on buying a Honda CG 125 as well sometime next week. Just bought all my gear, now I need an insurance quote and a place to put the actual bike.
+OmsoiTekken Fantastic news, and you wont go wrong with a Honda :-) Safe Riding
MOD 2 next week, been riding 125's since 2006
+RJH Motorbike Training Cheers.
Just about to do mine. Any advice??
That's a great video, looking at doing my DAS this year
Thanks Dave, its one of our early video's and one of our highest viewed too. There is a lot you can take from this video, put into your own riding and will only help you. Glad you approve. Where are you based fella?
I'm in Wolverhampton or I'd definitely do my DAS with you, I like your manner with the riders, really calming! I've been on a Honda S-Wing scooter for a few years and 3 cbt's but fancy a geared bike now
Good man, with geared bikes there are a lot more options. Keep watching the video's any questions just ask fella.
maybe not exactley the same but it helps if your used to riding a road push bike...your already used to indicating with hands signals looking for hazards etc - and never using your brakes in a corner school boy error.
Awesome, thank you for sharing RJH.
Very helpful these videos.. thank you very much RJH Motorbike Training..
+daddydidge1 Glad to hear your enjoying the video's. Are you learning? Where are you based?
+daddydidge1 Fanatastic, thats what they are there for! keep us posted fella
Will do.. thanks again :)
I'd say he hesitates a bit after every green light.
Just glance left right and accelerate off immediately when it goes amber.
Paulo did good
GameStu he did well
Chin to shoulder that's nice to know
thats all a lifesaver is
Can you elaborate on mini roundabout at 7:39?Is indicating on approach necessary? Indicating on approach in this particular situation wouldn't benefit anybody, and could confuse drivers behind making them think you're about to stop just before that roundabout....at least in my very humble (and probably wrong) opinion.
Yes you must indicate on the approach to a mini roundabout just the same as a standard roundabout. The difference with a mini roundabout however is you do not need to provide the secondary exit signal as mini roundabouts are too small for this.
great instructor, very clear and precise instructions.
+Mark Seals323 Thanks. Our highest viewed video to date.
I'm actually watching this video right now
Cool instructor
Thanks very much.
Found this very informative..to get ready for my A1 test.
+koovar mandlebrot Great news, glad you like the videos. Where are you taking your test?
good advice and comentry
Rodney Fisher Glad you like it Rodney, are you riding? Learning?
Life savers are for changing lanes\direction, mirrors are for lane position changes
Mod 1 is in Lee on Solent and Mod 2 is Poole..
+Pippa Webber How is it going??
Hya.. all good thanks.. did my test at the end of last year.... now got a Harley sportster.
Top video, MOD 2 on 29th. Nice pointers
Thanks Im glad you like the video's. Good luck with your Module 2 and keep us posted. Where are you completing it??
Took Mod 1 in Glasgow, taking Mod 2 in Ayr which is local to me.
Very informative content in videos - keep up the top work.
Thanks for this Video! Excellent narrative. Very informative. I have my Module 2 test this Friday! :-O
How did you go on?
+RJH Motorbike Training
Hello thanks for your interest.

+Danny Beard Good Man!! Our most popular video......
So where are you taking your test?? And good luck!!
Thank you!
It is tomorrow :)
The 26th, in Gloucester.
Passed first time!! Two minors :)
Well done Fella, I'm originally from Cirencester so know your patch well. Have you got a bike?
Thanks :)
Ah nice!
Great video, I think this will really help for my test. Thanks for the upload.
+Phillip Dove Glad you found it useful, where and when are you taking your test?
In Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. Had my first day of training today and will be taking the mod 1 this Wednesday and the mod 2 the following week if all goes according to plan :)
22:19 laughing at them sitting behind the van. These two are funny.
The only thing missing from this is a wheelie or two ;)
timtimtim89 class comment 👍😂😂
IDIOT , PROBABLY RIDE A 180 “registered as a 125 “ loser
Really feel like I've gotten to know Andrew and Paulo
really helpful video and great instruction, thanks for uploading
Hi, I'm looking into doing my mod 1 and 2 soon, I'm just wondering if this amount of commentary and advice is normal on a test? it seems like too much "help" to me, like anybody with basic bike handling skills and a pair of ears can pass?
Lizzy Trubshaw I have a feeling this person is their instructor and not the examiner as the examiners will only give you which directions they won't tell you to use observations or lifesavers etc
Daniel Mayfield sound thank you c
This is a lesson not a test.
Thanks.
Is this London?, enjoyed the suburban ride, thanks
Atherton comes under Wigan in Greater Manchester.
How many test routes are there for the test centre
Quite a few
The first guy missed sooooo many life savers before turning, i hope this was a practise seshion
Just a practice run on a test center area
when you say mirrors before signal is that checking both mirrors or just the one youre turning into?
I check both
Start DAS in two days pretty nervous to be honest this is good stuff though.
Thanks glad you like the videos and good luck with your training
It would be good to see a video specifically on round about, lane selection, bike positioning etc
Signal timing etc etc
Thanks for reply much appreciated
I will see what I can do for you ok, keep watching.
Child being molested at 16:44 is a little worrying!! :D
Otherwise great video, I felt I was on the bike and learned a lot from it, thanks for sharing and thanks for making us better riders. The test is just the means to the end, you don't become a good rider overnight, you become a better rider each time you get on the bike if you heed the warnings and observe good road etiquette ALL the time, not just for the 30 so minutes for Mod 2!!
Glad you like the video's they are there to help if needed. Take what you can out of them. What are you riding?
18:25 indicated too early again... no, Paulo lol
What I won’t to know is did di canio pass his mod 2 1st time round?
think he did
Had my Mod 2 today, failed. 8 minors and a serious fault. Had a perfect Mod 1, just wasn't ready.
get it next time
@@RJHMotorbikeTraining I've got it on Wednesday.
Aleksha Plagues Brilliant and good luck
@@RJHMotorbikeTraining I'm going to watch all your videos again and I'll let you know how it goes.
Aleksha Plagues important to enjoy it and ride as if your on your own. Good luck
the mirrors to slow down mirrors to pull away on the test really irritates me.
when riding through London daily i have no interest in what is behind me except when im changing lanes. sometimes the car in front will slow and then suddenly stop if i checked my mirrors when he started to slow to see if a moron is up my butt im not looking at the car ahead which is much more dangerous than looking at the car behind. lucky for me the car driver behind is not doing the same or he may hit me.
when pulling away the only thing that is going to be in my way is some moron trying to overtake on the lights and the only people that have ever done that to me are cyclists so if they want to be run over fine crack on.
Jason Leo yeah you’ll crash soon then dw stupid statement
What are the times available? For bus lanes couldn't see
7-10 and 4-7 times
Do you go on the highways or big roads like that for the A full bike test?
Depending on your test centre. You could go on National 60 and 70 mph roads. No motorways.
i have no previous motorcycling experience but over 20 yrs of driving. How long would it take for someone to pass their motorcycle test?
+Mark Seals323 Dont know any personally however search this directory

If you need any helpgive us a shout ok.
If you are 24 you can complete Direct Access (ride any size bike)
We have good B & B's locally if you fancied a little holiday = LOL = Get your Bike License
Were Paolo and Andrew 125/CBT riders? or were they going straight in for "A" license?
+Eugene Agyeman Paolo 1st time rider, straight for DAS. Andrew has a background of biking. Both completed CBT, Theory and DAS
Nice one, and great lesson too. Im going to be looking to move up from a CBT and considering i live in Manchester and use to live in Atherton lol this was a handy watch
+Eugene Agyeman I hope you are going to come to us :-)
Can u use your own bike when u are doing the cbt
+Nathan Mccrae Check with the school you are going to do it with. We do, providing it is road legal and insured.
I can honestly say your videos have helped me a hell of alot so thanks for that and keep up the brilliant work 👍
Thanks and good luck with your test. let us know how you go on.
RJH Motorbike Training I did my mod 2 today at Atherton as a slot was available and I passed... so glad the pressure is off me now haha thanks for your videos again and they helped me massively
not sure what your referring too when you say lifesavers?
A Lifesaver, Shoulder check, Blind Spot check are pretty much the same thing. A Lifesaver before you move off? A Lifesaver before you change lanes? A Lifesaver before you overtake?
Hopefully that will help, although there is a great video on our channel explaining rear observations.
u shud read audio books,,dat voice
Can I ride a 650 to the mods 1 & 2 or must I use my 125 ?
+Andy Bryant Can ride only a 125cc, unless you are with a certified Instructor.
Any advice I've got mine on Tuesday so nervous
Relax and enjoy the experience. Don't let nerves effect you, its normal. Forget about the Examiner and "just get on with it" Keep us posted, where are you taking your test??
+RJH Motorbike Training Chester, tomorrow at 01:33 still very anxious I'll get back to you tomorrow fingers crossed with a pass I hope
how did it go fella?
+RJH Motorbike Training passed mate, thank you! Your videos helped a lot! I was 110% committed and passed all my tests first go! Very pleased thanks for your content and ride safe:)
This is good news and well done. So what bike are you going to buy?
Have my mod2 in a month, are there any differences in NI?
Shoudnt think so, enjoy and let us know how you go on.
will do boss, thanks
Was this the exam or just a practise run ?
Just a practice run.
Is Paulo deaf? :)
MP3 Rider English not his 1st language. He turned out to be a bloody good rider.
I successfully passed my test with the help of this and other videos. Thanks for posting it. It really was/is helpful.

nothing is hard if you put the time in. how have you done?
Rjh I'm 17 in May and want a 125cc to be able to get around etc. Would you recommend any 125cc for first time riders? Cheers
+aidan sambrook Japaneze, so Honda, Yamaha, etc...............
Haha
+RJH Motorbike Training I was looking at a Honda cbr125r?
+aidan sambrook Nice bike
+aidan sambrook yes we get all sorts of abilities, so make sure you study the highway code ok
You don't go through red lights when there are no cars so indicate also when there are no cars.
ok cool
+rjh Why do you have to check over shoulders right and left before moving off when the mirrors on a bike show u if there is anything coming/overtaking
There is no way either of these have a car license
a lot don't
It doesn't actually matter how many times you take your test, because failing it will only improve your riding. Plus the test is pure luck. My examiner was a real job's worth, and it all depended on what mood he was in on the day.
good way to look at it. The more saddle time the better
