Just passed my module 2 today; first attempt. I was pretty nervous. I realized I had made a few mistakes during, which at the time got me quite worried, however I tried to put it behind me and continue focusing on the test, although I thought I wouldn't pass. When I got back turned out I only picked up 3 minors. Had I let myself continue worrying and loose focus after these mistakes as a result I'd have been more likely to not pass. Moral here is if thing's don't go as planned, push it out of your head and try to move on focusing on the test at hand. At the end of the day they're not trying to fail you, they just wan't to see you can ride on the roads safely and with a certain level of self confidence: I know I missed a few head checks and other things as well during the test but they didn't give me anything for them as, I guess, they know all riders make some mistakes.. and at the end of the day if you can show you're a safe rider generally they'll wan't to pass you. Just try as much as possible to roll with it and focus on the task at hand (either following the instructors single instructions or following signs). Watch these videos the night before the test as well as I really think this helped solidify my training over night, both with my module 1 and module 2. Good luck my dudes, you can do it!

Watching these videos over the last few months really allowed me to gain confidence as a rider. The tips I picked up from your videos greatly helped me pass my Mod 2 test in Kettering today (only 1 minor).

Thanks Graham. I.m training with pro Scot up in Kirkcaldy Scotland, I live in Edinburgh but sadly the schools in Edinburgh I found either they were too busy, expensive or I just did not get the feel they were right for me so fingers crossed just now I’m out on my little Honda cbf trying to get as much practice in as possible . I’m so much more confident on my “road craft “ to my module 1 stuff it’s hard to find somewhere to practice without feeling like a wally

    These are to quality videos!
A couple of years ago I used videos on this channel to pass my mod 2.
I had some training from a local school here in London, but there were usually around 8 of us so it was pretty useless (but still expensive!) I reckon this channel did 70% of the task of getting me my license.

I passed my Mod 2 on that exact bike, on that exact route.
    .
Graham was my trainer from CBT - Mod2.
    .
If you’re watching this video and thinking of getting your bike license and you’re thinking of training with RJH, my advice would be to go for it.
    .
I really enjoyed my training, had a laugh with Graham and I loved that Suzuki!
    Cheers Graham,
    Ash

Thank you for these videos. As a result of listening, watching and making notes, I passed my Mod 2 yesterday. I think it is good practice to go back to these once a month . To keep the good advice front of mind

RedlineRossi.... failed for not cancelling my indicator.. it’s a bad habit I have. Any tips on how to remember would be greatly appreciated. This could become an expensive slip of the mind if I can’t shake this habit

@@kpr1969 Gutted for you man. Don't give up though. The only thing I can suggest is to make it the first thing you do when it's safe to do so. I always keep my thumb on the indicator button until the need to cancel if that's any help.
I keep thinking I'm going to fail because after driving for the last 30 odd years what I'm not used to is doing the life savers or shoulder checks before pulling away. Its gonna catch me out, I know it.

I'm confused about that faint speed sign( change of speed) josh did a shoulder observation and mirrors and you said good observation. But that threw me I'm confused. Did he have to do a blind spot observation for a change of speed or was it just open to personal choice ie would he have been OK just to check his mirrors. Please can you clarify.

Are all the mod 2 test routes similar to this or is this a particularly easy/straightforward one? It seems like the majority of it was a nice loop round the countryside with not too many junctions or roundabouts or places you could mess up and get yourself into the wrong lane etc

would going 32 33 in a 30 zone be marked as a minor? As technically 33mph is 30 in real life.

Insurance is a pain for the first year but the costs tend to halve every year for maybe 3 years
