Im having a nightmare with all these tests and the bloody cost its ridiculous. You can easily spend a grand on achieving category a. As a full car licence holder and a 125 rider nearly 20yrs ago I was made to take cbt again and a theory test for bikes and after buying a hondanc750s and getting to the testing centre in a hire van!! I was told it was 0.9 under the power allowance for category a! Not happy. So then had to go through a bike das company so i could use there 600cc kawasaki. I passed mod 1 last week and have mod2 coming up its bloody mental Im 45yrs old and can ride so watch out for category a bikes that are suitable!! Great vid.
It's been 3 years for me ,and this channel was an excellent form of knowledge back then, I feel sorry for anyone who was about to take Thier DAS before this virus hit, I bought a new bike in January it's covered 300 miles now , I'm so frustrated just looking at it in the garage though.
Not to debunk or anything as I haven't passed my mod 2 yet that will hopefully be tomorrows good news but I was always informed you should never use the kill switch while the bike is running unless in an emergency. Therefore during the test you don't have to start the bike just push the button on and off.
Very good instruction they seem common sense especially if you have a mechanical engineering background, for others make a list and apply them to a bike it helps you later if you ever break down or have maintenance issues and can save a fortune and make your experience a lot safer.
You can only get one fault for this, even if you get all 3 questions wrong (including the pillion questions) - It's not possible to get 2 or more minor faults
Great vid thanks , you mentioned that you could loose a couple of points here , as I understand it you only loose 1 point regardless of how many you get wrong , can you confirm? Thanks

Yes most Examiners want you to show them when the engine is off.
