I have the WEN rotatary tool that came similar to that one and I absolutely love it. I had to replace my tools when I was robbed and TBH, unless you're a label snob, brands like WEN and TISWALL are just as good as a DREMEL. And you typically get more accessories too!
Diedre, do you happen to know of a "rotary tool guide for dummies"? My issue is that I don't even know what the pieces are called in order to replace them 🤣🤦♀️...I'm at the hardware store and I'm like "ya know, the thingie that's flat and round but kinda looks like sandpaper but I think it's for cutting?..."
I have this and love it! I got it for something completely different, but have used it almost daily for resin, sanding sharp edges, drilling holes and now will use it for polishing as well!
I just sent the site to my Hubby and he's gonna get it for me 😁The extended part is small enough to grip with my arthritis and I should'nt have a problem Thanks STEVE AS USUAL YOU ROCK. KEEP BEING GROOVY . ✌N💗
Never knew what I was missing out on!!!! New use for a tool I already have!!! I always learn new things from you Steve. Thank you so much. Ringy-dingy🔔🔔🦋🦋
I needed this video🥰I created some resin pieces & adding more resin that made them look 😱 this is perfect & has helped 100% has helped me save so many projects💝💝💝💝💝
WOOHOO! I am over the moon to see this! I bought this exact rotary tool about two months ago and there are virtually no instructions and I had no clue what was what etc...after a lot of trial and error I was able to figure out how to use some of the parts but I literally screamed with joy the moment I saw box you were about open!!! There's three other videos on UA-cam about this particular device and one I needed to use the closed captions because it was in another language and there just isn't much help anywhere as to how to use this one. I've been having to watch Dremmel videos and hoping I'm doing it right. I just can't tell you how happy I am they sent you this! I know you won't steer me wrong! I haven't even gotten through your video yet but was so excited I just had to comment! Please if you have some "clout" with them now 🤣😉 encourage them to make a tutorial video! They desperately need one! I've been very happy with mine so far but frustrated because I know I'm not using it to it's full potential! Thank you thank you thank you!
Steve if you ever have time to do another video using this particular rotary device using the cutting and mostly the sanding pieces and how to change the collets etc... It would be soooooooooooo appreciated! I'd buy you tons of coffees! 🤣🤣🤣
I've had a little Dremel with only a few tools & have almost completely stopped using it because the button to change tools is a literal pain to push. This gives me incentive to retry, since some of my resin pieces really need polishing. Thanks.
Very similar to the dremel! I love my dremel. The price is great! All the attachment are a great addition for the same price, if someone wants or needs a rotary tool, wow the price point is great. A case too!
I have a Dremel, but I find myself using my nail efile most of the time. It's lighter, quieter, and easier to hold, and I've been able to find adapters to fit most bits. Another hugely useful piece of nail equipment I use is my rechargeable dust collector! I got it off Amazon and it's so nice for when I'm sanding or drilling resin!
I was already thinking of putting a cordless one on my Christmas list, but seeing you using the flexible shaft makes me think that could be a better choice. Thanks for the demo.
@@Microplancakes I was thinking more about the likely weight of a cordless one, compared with a flexible arm (although I suppose cordless with a flexible arm would address that issue). Mains power isn't easily accessible in some of the places where I'd be using it.
Hi Steve, I love your videos and genuinely appreciate all your insight and knowledge. My question is about coasters... The coasters I make are tiles, and then I paste a photo or graphic on, and then I resin the whole piece...so they have a clear glass like top. I do my very best to ensure there aren't any bubbles or debris, but sometimes, it just happens, and since the tops appear like glass, it can be very frustrating when you can see even the smallest speck of anything in them. Usually, if this occurs, I will sand and resin them again, but this takes a lot of time, more materials, and there's also a risk they may come out worse than before. Do you think a light sand on their top and then polishing would work instead? I can not express how much relief it would be to just do this instead of resining them again. Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated. I realize this is a lengthy comment, so thank you for reading! - Alex
I have a dremel and a dremel stylo and idk what i would do without them! The stylo is a bit bigger then a 3d pen and its so nice for smaller projects where a full size dremel would block your view from certain angles
I have a larger size. Haven't been able to use it much as my brother walked off with it to do finishing work on a house reno.🤪😓🤦♀️ This does have a few extra bit included though.
So I'm trying to practice and learn how to use my Dremel to sand and polish. Silly me used a matte mold for these bezels I made. How do I k ow if they need sanded and not just polished?
I've just tried to use mine to polish a resin piece with the felt woolpads and it leaves mine looking worse what am I doing wrong ? Can anyone help please

I know what I’m going to get for Christmas now. Thanks for the video Steve.
Oh. Thanks Steve. I now know what all the bits I received with my non branded one!
I have a tool like this with these attachments, no idea what they done 😃 thank you for showing us 🤗

Thank you for a great product review. And I think that I need a Rotary tool. God bless you and your furbabies.
Always using mine thanks for tip on polishing
That's really nice. Have to check into that. Thanks for demonstrating how to attach the flex shaft.
Never knew what I was missing out on!!!! New use for a tool I already have!!!
I always learn new things from you Steve. Thank you so much.

That shine is amazing!!

I bought a dremel this summer and it truly is the beautiful thing ever!!

I never knew just how much I needed this! It looks perfect for smoothing the rough edges on my pieces! Definitely adding it to my Christmas Wishlist 😊
Thanks for the tips I just ordered one from the Canada link.
That’s a great addition to any crafters kit! 😍I like the extension lead. It Also sound quite powerful ! Thank you for showing us..👍
I know what my son is getting for my birthday in couple wks lol x
Just sent the video to Facebook for my son to see x
Great job explaining how to use some of the accessories! Always love all of your videos! Thank you Steve!!

I really need that tool! Ty for sharing!

Polishing liquid, thats what ive been missing. Thanks babe!
Super helpful video. Could you please make a video on showing how to use all the attachments 🙂
Thanks Steve🥰👍👍
Thank you for sharing 🤟🏻❤️

Thanks for the demo.
I honestly prefer my plug in dremel, and shaft. You never have to worry about the battery getting low. Also, the dremel cord is long

I will get one
I have one of these tools. Guess I should use it.

That looks like a great rotary tool, what are the batteries for?
I have a dremel and a dremel stylo and idk what i would do without them! The stylo is a bit bigger then a 3d pen and its so nice for smaller projects where a full size dremel would block your view from certain angles

❤❤❤. Thankyou. 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
Will this remove light scratches as well without using sandpaper first?
So I'm trying to practice and learn how to use my Dremel to sand and polish. Silly me used a matte mold for these bezels I made. How do I k ow if they need sanded and not just polished?
Is there something you can add to resin so it doesn't break easily when you bend it but still is hard?
Steve what is the polish you used and where can I get it please.
😁❤💯 Tyfs!
I have had a dremel for years but I’ve been unsure what some of the bits and bobs do so I’ve been scared to play with it
When using polish, does the shine last or does it have to be reapplied eventually?
I've just tried to use mine to polish a resin piece with the felt woolpads and it leaves mine looking worse what am I doing wrong ? Can anyone help please
I think they are called attachments, not tools. :) Nice video, thanks.
I have drumel like that, but it is heavy
What is the difference between a rotary tool and a dremel?
You can't polish with a dremel? Even if you have a polishing bit to put on the dremel?
No no no!! Not enough buffing !!!! Heading to a more educated video….
That don’t work
Is it just me or was that not SANDING???
That’s literally sanding but instead of manual it’s electric 🤣
