@@amackclassic6737 if you want to use a zone as an audio track, you can assign pads to it and then sample to pads the snippets you want to incorporate.
Thank you! I have a Yamaha digital piano (p125) which I love the keys. I was wondering if it is possible to connect it to the Fantom and use its sounds but through playing the digital piano. Do you know if it is possible?
I used to have that piano too (P125). I actually sold it to make room for the Fantom! I loved the keys also, was sad to see it go. Took some getting used to these Fantom keys, but worth it in the end. No way to plug it into fantom unfortunately!
idk if it’s cause it’s a condenser mic but I did the same thing and the piano knows and receives there’s a mic but when I speak into it there’s no noise and nothing
No condenser Mics on the 0. It's a line level input only. The big Fantom has XLR inputs, so for $2k more you can plug your condenser in 😆 go figure huh
Still no luck with my mic, pretty frustrating. Let me know if you manage to find a fix, I think I have pressed and played with every button to make it work. 😂
I figured this one out and got into another problem: How can I route the external sound of a microphone or a guitar that a DAW (Ableton in my case) can record that? I just can record the Fantom's internal sounds. Nothing that it processes externally is not routet through the USB into the computer. Ha anybody a idea?
Superb vid, short, straight to the point, and exactly what I needed thanks.
No problem man!!
1:05 you can control mic input volume separately with a knob at the back panel.
Yes I did see that, I haven't actually tried to plug one in yet.. do you happen to know how to assign the mic channel to a zone?

There's a little knob on the back next to the Mic input. Hope that helps. Else, it could be impedance issue.
Usefull video. Microphone volume I found a little black knob by the jack at the back
Yup that's where it is!
thank you kind sir, for your knowledge & brevity...
Nice. I have vid coming about two other things I don't like about the Fantom 0 series. However, the B3 is a beast.
Thx, short and on point. Is it possible to use mic and line at the same time?
Nope sadly

all I wanted to know was if there an output on the Roland phantom 8 that will plug in to a tascam 32 SD recording system
1/4 stereo outputs, of course!
Thanks

Do you have a guitar 🎸 and mic 🎤 plugged in?
I heard you have to use a TS cable not a TRS.....has to have only 1 strip on it (TS) for correct volume
What type of mic?
Condenser or active?
Dynamic

Thank you bro! I did some research in regards to this and I'm gonna get one to see if it will help.
@@amackclassic6737 It will :) You are welcome. Have fun mate :)
Same issue low mic volume while the keys blow out my eardrums
