      Aya Caliva / Pastry Chef Mom She is so beautiful 😍 She does love mommy’s baking and I understand why, it is delicious.
      I do want to ask do you ever glaze your tarts and if so what do you use other than apricot jelly?
      Thank you for sharing these wonderful videos.💕

      Hello! Thank you :) Yes, I often use Apricot jam for the glaze but did not do that this time. I like to use Nappage nutre. You can buy them online even though they are not sold in grocery stores usually. At least here in the US. My favorite brand is from Valrhona. I think they only sell very large quantity and it is kind of pricy but one of the best!

    I loved the blueberry one with the mulberry on top. It sparkled like a jewel. They were all jewels tho, you’re so talented. The best of all jewel was your daughter. The look on her face when she was shown the whole set, was priceless. ❤️

    Hi Aya, can I assemble the fruit tarts the night before and serve them the following day? Will the tart shell gets soggy in the fridge with the fillings?

    Thank you ! We used to eat a lot of mulberries with my brothers, just from the tree. I didn't know the name and people always told me it was blackberries and it was not from trees.

    I love your work is simply beautiful thank you for the great videos so informative, and I can’t wait for the next one because I’m learning with you so much. I don’t want to bother you but one thing would be very nice if you could teach us how to make a shiny layer to Preserve more the fresh fruit 🍉 on the tarts and looks very shine and pretty. Also, if you could make a video with a variations of eclairs, Because I’m trying to start my little business with unique desserts like yours. Thank you again. 🤗

      Thank you! 😙 I'm so glad that you are learning a lot. Thank you for letting me know :) You are probably talking about nappage nutre? I usually buy one but I made that a couple times before, still not mastering it to create the best recipe but I hope to share it one day! If you don't have it, you can use apricot jam. Strain it to remove the chunks, heat up with a little bit of water and brush it on top of fruits while it's still warm!

    Are those edible flowers and gold or do you have to remove them prior to eating?

    • @PastryLivingwithAya
      @PastryLivingwithAya  3 роки тому

      I recommend to use edible flowers when you make them! The gold leaf is edible👍🏻

    We have this fruit in the Caribbean, on an island called Dominica. Everyone keeps telling me blackberry. Thanks for letting me know the correct name. Also, I had no idea the tree got that big.

      Hi Aya, may I know what is the sauce or liquid you are using to coat the fruits? To make it shinning and prevent it gets dry in the fridge.

    Mulberry tree leaves are used to feed silk worms.

      Oh wow, you know what, I saw the silk worm looking like webs everywhere all around the leaves every year toward the end of May to June and I was wondering what they are because they kind of looked gloss...😅 but now I know!
