I never used the spear until a few weeks ago, when I "finally" played a strength/arcane build on a new character. And oh my god that thing is busted and using it with Mimic Tear is not okay. 😂
Godrick's is good in the early game where none of your stats are soft capped, but at high levels, diminishing returns make it fall off pretty hard, so radahn's and morgott's are better for end game/ng+
its really not that great late game. The +5 on the stats arent good because the stats u want to speck anyways are soft capped. In that case Raddahns is better because it will most likely boost HP FP and stamina more than godricks.
Funny enough, Radagon is weak to Fire. BLASPHEMOUS BLADE is actually the go to weapon. For Elden Beast, you need physical damage and if you use Pest Threads incantation, it will melt the Beast extremely fast. This is by far one of the best way to cheese the final bosses even NG+7. I use this tactic even in Co-Op and it's still melt.
@@carna-9501 I tried the new Pest Spear but the range is too short. Unless you are really close to EB and also the casting is way longer. I think you can try on Solo EB with the new incantation since you can use Torrent to get close to EB (I personally haven't tried solo yet) while Co-Op need to use the old one for speed and range.
Glad you enjoyed the spear, the biggest weakness I've found is that even though the ash has multiple hits it doesn't count for the winged sword charms or similar and it isn't as great if the enemy doesn't stagger while you're in the animation, it can hit through walls pretty easily though and has great height on it. Also this was fun to watch, just having fun destroying bosses and trying stuff that you might not use otherwise.
I think its fun for people to see the "cheesy" builds work, and most folks dont really either want to break their own games, so they watch, or just are interested in seeing how cheesy the game can be. I love seeing the fails too. Great vids and the editing is great

I don’t know if you ever use it, but Black Knife Tiche is the most overpowered summon. She will straight up solo many of the minor bosses and is so much help in the bigger ones with the death flame
Been binge watching the series and I cant tell you the number of times I got wide eyed from seeing how much damage you're slinging around. The intended way of playing this game seems so much fun. Going to do a run myself soon.

Another weapon to try out: Marias Executioner Greatsword. Using all the "charged attack" and "Continuious attack" boosting items you can do crazy damage. Just the other day 2 shot Mogh with that build

5:14 that didnt age well im not sure if u know but in the dlc we learn miquella mind controled mogh to kidnap him and used him to get into the realm of shadows then mind controled radahn to be his consort (kinda fucked up for miquella)
as of 6/20/24 RIP Blasphemous Blade. Not really dead, still a very strong weapon, but it has been brought back down to Earth. Along with the poise dmg changes in general, the fire poise dmg has been nerfed and the knockdown effect has been removed entirely.

I'm currently doing my second play through of the base game with the intention of breaking the game with magic as much as possible! It's so much fun after the punishment I took going strength/dex on my first run 😂 great series man, your humour really shines through
There is actually an easiest way. Equip yourself with the talisman shabriris sorrow, put on the best armor and pick up two of the best shields. Go into the boss fight and summon your mimic tear. As soon as your ash are there, take out the talisman shabriris kummer and use whatever ranged weapon you use to defeat your opponent from afar. Since I wasn't really good at the game at the time, I made Malenia with this tactic. With a few other defens talismans and a healing spell, Malenia knocks around on your ashes for a while.
I really enjoyed the series by the way. I actually just came across it tonight as I was looking up a few things on UA-cam. I like the way you edit things and your comedy is pretty spot-on. Mogh spear is insane, not only is it a bleed weapon, a lot of it's damage is fire and the damage will stick around even after the art is over. For my DLC character, I've been playing an arcane build and I refuse to use mohgs spear because It kind of trivializes the game. Don't get me wrong, I don't shy away from "cheesy" builds, in fact I just one shot Mogh himself using two of those poison claws with the bleed affinity a few hours ago. It's fun to dunk on the game using knowledge but I also want to experience the DLC as something that is relatively difficult. I'm really looking forward to trying out those perfume bottles, they seem like spells that don't require FP. I also want to try those melee weapons that you can throw... We will see how the DLC shakes out. I'm sure by the end of it I will have a completely ridiculous build that can trivialize the rest of the content.

You say "less exciting" but honestly I quite enjoy getting to see people just see what's possible to blast past the game and the genuine surprise you often express upon getting to see the sheer output some of these items have is endlessly entertaining as excitement is quite infectious (or at least it is for me). The only suggestion I could have made for the final fight would have been possibly squeezing Lord's Divine Fortification as that stomps both boss's main damage type into DUST. But even without it you fought very well and got one hell of a final shot to boot!
very fun idea for a run! i enjoyed watching the busted weapons showcase, but you mentioned not being familiar with great runes. this might be helpful: Godrick's great rune gives you the equivalent of 40 rune levels in pure stats across the board. until you begin hitting the softcap in multiple stats, godrick's rune is the most powerful option. if you're deep in ng+ cycles, however, radahn and morgott's great runes and their % boosts begin to outscale it. malenia's enables a bloodborne style rally system, which can be situationally quite strong. the only great rune that doesn't really have a use case is mohg's, sadly. for what it's worth, farming rats in castle morne for infinite rune arcs could very much be considered cheese! ...cheese for the exceedingly patient, granted.
Please don't stop playing elden ring I know its not your main content but your very good at it your content is better than like 99% of other elden ring channels never stop
If you ever bring this series back for the DLC maybe you can try fingerprint stone shield + Mohg's spear, you can attack with the spear while guarding with the shield making you almost invulnerable to most physical attacks.
