I so appreciate this meditation today. We have gone into another snap lockdown and this, being my birthday weekend, means I have to cancel several events. Mostly I do ok on my own but I was really looking forward to getting together with friends at this time. Your soothing voice has really helped to remind me of the healing and necessary power of self-compassion, to not shove aside disappointment with pep talks, but to softly hold and acknowledge whatever feeling is there. @@LindaHallguidedmeditation I'm a war veteran born in England, i ended up in the US Army, I've done many missions that were very nerve racking. Between therapy and you're mediation i feel like I'm becoming whole again. I understand it's a practice, and trust me your directions really really help. I just thought I'd let you know again.
