Ive lived in Barcelona for 15 years this is a good video. I would say you might be a little bit down playing how safe the city can be especially at night near clubs.
Barcelona is considered widely to have one of the highest rates of pickpocket and thieving incidents. I think I have seen stats to support this but as I can't find them, I'll say considered. The amount of theft is genuinely unbelievable I don't have any friends that have lived here for any amount of time that don't have multiple first hand stories. When "Safe" was stated, I was genuinely waiting for the punch line

That works too. But I would recommend you getting a card if you think you’re gonna use public transport a lot.
Hola, Aloha, I’m from Hawaii but my mother is originally from Barcelona. I’m moving over there next month to live with mi abuela. I’m wondering…. where is the nearest town with the nicest beach? As someone from Hawaii, I appreciate clean clear water and can handle the ocean well, swim well, etc. Does anywhere come to mind? Thanks!
Hi Radha! Sitges is a very nice. But I would recommend coming and just traveling the coast to see what you like best
