Thank you so much for great ideas and recommendations. We'll definitely visit Barcelona again and incorporate your list in our additional top 20 video 😉
The most beautiful City, that I visited recently. So many stunning buildings, the architecture amazing. I fell in love with Barcelona, and will be back soon.
I have been in Barcellona in 2014 i feel very nostalgic watching this video ...because Barcellona Is One the best Memories of my Life... I litteraly lived a dream in Barcellona i felt so free so Happy ... Some of the best days of my Life...Barcellona Is the city of the Fantasy and the freedom
Great video, I’m in Barcelona now and I managed to last 4 days before my iPhone was ripped from my bag - 4:30pm on a large main road while I was walking, not shopping, not la rambla...
For background: I'm an American whose native language is English and I speak Spanish moderately well. I enjoyed the city oh so much, the public transportation, the food, the culture (I was there during the Festival of La Merce), and I really loved Santa Eulalia Cathedral. I visited the Sagrada Familia and Santa Maria del Mar and both were great but IMO nothing compared to that magnificent Gothic Cathedral. Also, avoid any place where the menu is in English. I went into a place where I only heard Catalonian spoken and I ordered a glass of vermouth and anchovy stuffed olives and it was so good. Amongst all of the lavish meal that I enjoyed, really simple but delicious olives with anchovies washed down with sweet and bitter vermouth were the best. Visit Barcelona, visit for at least a week because that city will never stop being enjoyable.
Whoever goes to Barcelona please be aware that there are lots of pickpockets in the city, and they are really skilled. So please keep ur belongings near you at all times. Otherwise have a great visit!
Barcelona is, let’s face, for the casual visitor, a dream destination. Firstly, it’s almost always sunny; if not always balmy. Secondly, its cultural richness is second to none. Thirdly, it’s manageable for the casual stroller. Fourthly, did I mention it is (mostly) beautiful? Fifthly, the people, mainly, seem lovely. What more do you need? Downsides? You may need to take out a bank loan to pay for some of Barcelona’s offerings. And after-dinner chat about politics may be off the menu in mixed company.

I am looking forward to seeing you all again soon in Barcelona. unfortunately now this city is dead due to the pandemic. When will all this end .. ?? Barcelona needs you and those of us who live here cannot conceive of our lives without you, the tourists. Thank you very much to you who ever came and many thanks to those who will come one day. We will welcome you with open arms as we have always done. Soon the sun will rise again for everyone. Cheer up and don't forget us. Our streets, squares, monuments, beaches etc, are waiting for you. see you soon friends.
Barcelona is just stunning! It’s so full of character and the atmosphere is amazing 🤩 we stopped for the day in Barcelona on the cruise we went on a few weeks ago (we were aboard the sky princess) I was blown away by it and really want to go back so I’m planning a holiday week next year ✈️🤗
I loved Barcelona when I was there in 1998, and took several long walks around the city. A major difficulty for me was trying to find a public restroom. Perhaps things have improved since then. Performing at he Palais de Musica was the highlight for me.
Went to Barcelona February 2018. We stayed at Novotel Hotel Glories. Love this City. Our only regrets we didn’t see the magic fountain because that type it’s under renovation.

I'm watching this info.My son is eighteen years old he is there today in Barcelona the June 20th 2019.and he is visiting this places. Thanks guys for the information.
I love Barcelona. When I visited in 2011, they didn't used to charge for anything at Parc Guell. But when I went there in 2015, there was a ticket to sit on the curved benches and to see the lizard.
We mentioned a "small fee" just for Park Guell :) But you don't need to pay anything if you just walk around the park. So, it's up to you if you really want to see the Lucky Lizard and sit on the bench and pay for that.
Barcelona is a lovely place isn’t it so much to see and explore, we stayed in Hotel Bany and just a few minutes walk to Picasso museum and other main attractions and must see places to visit and explore.
I visited Barcelona recently and I am glad to say that it is one remarkable city. I like most things about this city. Only 2 things i felt was a let down. Autumn is like summer. And many places have no air conditioning. The subway station is like a sauna. Fortunately trains have air conditioning. And the airport. An airport that does not allow you to do pre departure shopping after you have cleared immigrations. I heard so many disappointed travellers. One said "what a truly f**ked up airport design!"
I saw a duobike at 0:58 near Arc de Triomf. If you want to ride a duobike in Parc Ciutadella, do you need to rent it at Parc Ciutadella or do I need to rent it from a local bike rental shop? Hope to get advice soon from someone 🙏🏻
I've been to Barcelona, Spain. I went by myself, I was only 19. I toured the whole city by foot, metro, bus, and rollerblades (I had brought them from the US) The only time I experienced something unnatural was when I decided to go visit a club by myself downtown closer to the beach area. It wasn't so great tbh and on the way back home towards Catalan, I'd taken a metro. the blue line, Line 5. Mind you this was like 3 AM. There were still a good amount of people on the metro as if night-life were always that lit. So I got comfortable and I stood on the metro as if I were taking the red line from DC to MD. I was wearing a shirt, shorts and some sandals because I did not have night-out outfits. (Oh well! I still don't! Lol) Out of nowhere some man, who seemed to be "drunk" came up to me and tried to stumble on me and felt up on me when he did. I gave him a stank face and I moved. I looked around to see what others reactions were or why they didn't help and everyone in that cart just looked at me. It was a look you get when you know something's up. So I got a flight feeling inside then. I went to go sit down by a few people. I Facetimed my friend who was still awake here in Penn. US and told him about what had just happened. He asked me "Is he still there?" I looked up thinking the man had left and on the row next to mine the man was there, looking at me with his arm resting on his leg and his head resting in his hand just looking directly at me. If this were daytime I don't think I'd think much of it but the man didn't get off and there were two more stops left on the metro until it ended its trip. My stop was second to last, and I thought there is no way this man has the same stop as me. My stop had come, which was El Carmel and people had begun to get off. I got out and started to walk fast paced toward the exit. For those who haven't taken this stop, it's quite a walk to get to the surface- if anyone has taken the metro from DC to MD to Wheaton Station and seen the flight of stairs you have to climb to get to the surface-- well imagine that x4. So while I was exiting the first room where the metro had dropped us, as I looked behind me while going up the stairs and thought 'yes! he's gone!' but I thought too soon because when the metro was about to leave, out pops the man looking around, saw me, and headed towards my direction. By that time I was on top of the exit stairs and my flight senses kicked in. I sprinted all the way home. Not to the surface, HOME. I ran like I never ran in sandals before in my life!! I don't know how I did it but I did and I'm lucky. I'd still go by myself again-- or maybe not be selfish and share the greatness with somebody-- either way those two weeks were the best weeks of my life! I'm 22 now, and I miss it very much!
Hi Karen, too bad to hear about your experience and we're glad everything was OK in the end! And great that you'd still like to go back. We wish you wonderful experience the next time you go and safe travels around the world :)
Hey Boket, May is one of the best months to visit. Should be nice and warm while not too hot - average os 73 F (23 C) so you can bring short sleeves, but just in case bring some warmer clothes too. Enjoy 😉
