People forget that FFX's voice acting was the first of its kind, and the cast were basically guinea pigs. But over the years, especially in Dissidia 1+2, James Arnold Taylor and Hedy Burress's performance as Tidus and Yuna was a huge improvement IMO.

In Final Fantasy X, Yuna was prepared to shoulder the burden of being a summoner by herself so that nobody would be sad when she died (at least that's how she saw it).
It's funny because when I played FFX I spent so much time grinding with the Aeons and using their overdrives to beat tough bosses that Yuna became my strongest character. I took her all over the sphere grid, mastered all white and black magic, and she could hit even harder than Auron with basic physical attacks and go well over 9999. By the very end of the game she didn't even need the Aeons anymore lol.

So this is what they sound like when they have good voice direction. Don't get me wrong, I actually like the voice acting in FFX. However, this is amazing. They sound so natural. I've always loved their voices, so these scenes are like a gift from the gods.

Yuna canonically whistles with her left hand, not her right, despite her right hand being her dominant one. That seems to be the ONLY reason that she fails, despite whistling like that being REALLY hard to learn.
Its obvious the voice actors are so much more confident in their roles than they were in FFX, I think the voice director for this game is better than who square had in 2002
they definitely simplify the character's personalities for these spinoff games, just look at how one-note and emo they made Cloud in his kingdom hearts appearances and so on. At least in the remake they got it right

Yuna isn't being completely "her self". I really love the personality of Yuna in the english version of FFX (better than japanese for me). Yuna in english is so delicate, calm, always smiling and carrying for the feelings of others. In this version is a little more severe, speak faster and with more force.

I know WOFF was highly underrated because for the longest time it was known as that silly "cute" game that was featured at E3 2015 before the VII: Remake blockbuster announcement, but I really enjoyed the game all the way through; the FF characters were pretty much all voiced by their original VA, and the story itself was well done.
