- Side story quest with Cloud and Lightning taking on a hunt for the League of S. Along the way, Cloud ditches Lightning to go hunt a "Silver-Haired Swordsman".
The boss for this side story is Iron Muscles. The boss has no elemental weakness to exploit, so you can take it down easily by using hard hitting attacks, magic, and Champions. So casting Bravery and Faith to increase your damage will help.
Also, Tama's dialogue at the start of the battle is such a terrible tease. - Ігри

I gotta say, the VA for Cloud really carried his persona well in the delivery of these lines. Nvm that the visuals are ridiculously cute and chibi. I felt like Cloud was standing in the room or in the same area as me. Nice.

Jeez why couldn't lightning have this much personality in her games. She's confident and cocky as well as competitive but also chastises cloud for abandoning people and his allies (ironic considering what she pulls in her debut game.)

Yeah this is kinda how she ends up at the end of the game. It’s why I like the side stories like Dissidia, Mobius and World; they flesh out the characters end game personalities far better than the actual games. :)

Funny how Cloud in this goofy Chibi game is more true to his actual characterization in VII than Advent Children or Dissidia, where he's inexplicably an Emo.
DarthWall275 advent Children seemingly pulls a reset to his uncertain personality. Dissidia also pulls the same with the memory loss, most the characters in Dissida revert back to their original personalities Like Lightning and Squall.
Cloud and Denzel, his adopted son, were dying to geostigma in Advent Children. That's a pretty good reason to be emo as most people would be depressed in those circumstances. Dissidia Cloud should have been less emo though.
I believe one of the novels actually states that clinical depression is one of the symptoms of geostigma.
dissidia has no choice but to pick a few key characteristics and stick to them for its characters because the cast is way too large for everyone to have complex and unique writing. Otherwise everyone would just be "good guy with a sword"

Does anyone else notice that lightning acts like a schoolgirl around cloud or is it just me?
I don't know it just seems out of character for lightning to ask for a "race" with her fellow soilder.
Literally that's something you'd expect tidus or Bartz to do. but lightning?
Considering that the Lightning in this obviously never had to deal with all the events of her games. This version of Lightning is more of a serious, but more laxed version of her original appearances. No end of the world, no Knight of Etro, no dead Serah, etc. So she's somewhat more happy here. The only downside most likely to her in this world is that Snow is still her brother-in-law, since he and Serah still live in Bodhum.
After replaying the original FF7 and then just recently beating the Remake, Cloud's greatest ability is to attract women and be completely oblivious to it at the same time.

Technically yes as a collective term, the game refers to all them as Mirage (ミラージュ). However, the game also gives specific names for certain ones in Grymoire. Creatures like Mist Dragon, Fenrir, Maduin, and Valefor that are used by their respective summoners in the game's story use the name of "Espers" (幻獣, Genjuu) by certain characters.

In this game is about revenge of Cloud, what Terra and everyone did in FFVI world was to save it from Kefka who killed innocent people just because he felt like it and because he thinks of himself as a god. They didn't fight him and "killed" him because they wanted to, they had to after everything he did not like Cloud in THIS GAME that seemed obsessed with the idea of defeating Sephiroth, cause in FFVII they did it for the same reason as FFVI: to save the world
It’s hard to take the serious moments well seriously cause there in chibi for like be honest if they show the death of areis is chibi form would you take it seriously
I usually tend to remain silent on these videos, but hey why not poke my head in once and a while!? :O
I mean to be really technical, the death of Aerith was chibi for the field models on the Playstation outside of the FMVs, and people back then took it seriously. Similar to other JRPGS until the arrival of the HD generation of gaming. As long as the writing, set of tone, and the models reflect the emotion and tone set up by the scene, the scenes could be taken serious even with chibis.
However, this game is not meant to be taken over seriously as the more modern Final Fantasies, examples being XIII and XV. So the "serious moments" with the chibis were not supposed to be taken that seriously obviously and just kind of focus on being just generic NPC backstories a bit. I mean doesn't totally give it a pass, especially if you want more emotion coming from the scenes. Varies from people to people I suppose.
Honestly, the only real serious moments in this game are the bad ending and the true ending, but those are using a mixture of the models and anime cutscenes.
