The percentage of CO2 emissions that can be attributed to blinking antlers that make a sad old man happy are infinitesimal. If this is the fight he has dedicated the rest of his life too, he should be picking his targets better. Instead of antagonizing his lawyers to do small things that help a little, he should be using those lawyers to win big fights that help a lot. Solar panels can actually be beneficial to a large company depending on the energy rate and their consumption but alas all electric goods are not bio-degradable and we are fairly limited with recycling. If only we would have focused on developing on techniques to dispose of these materials safely rather than come up with unreasonable ideas of not using something which is irreplaceable in many cases.

The biggest travesty to the environment is going to be electric cars.. The lithium mining process only takes place in a few areas in the world and it decimates the local environment. Hydrogen would have been better.

Why are we so sure that we’re right? Because we read the news and pay attention to the science. The debate isn’t “is climate change happening” or “is climate change influenced by human activity”. The real debate is “how do we best deal with this?”. That’s why climate denials piss people off, because you’re wasting time with this crap when there’s real work to be done, real discussion to be had. More than that, there are real lives at stake. Mine. My kids. My grandkids. There’s a reason why most climate denials are older: they don’t have to deal with the consequences. We do.
