I did love this show. I watched it every week, I so miss it. Also wish it would be back in re-runs. I so remember their wedding. Though, as this entire episode says, they love one another. I don't recall them ever saying that to each other.
They married because Denny was dying. Alan would take care of him and his estate
it actually does air reruns on Monday mornings on "Ovation" and Monday nights I believe. in the morning it's about 4hr (4 episode) blocks shown.

Good call about watchin The Practice: Season 8 first, where we first meet Alan and Denny. Very different from Seasons 1-7, but quite epic in a really interesting way. (No Spoilers).. ;)
@@slayme3 - yeah, it's been a LONG while (& I'm still planning on getting there again LOL but I'm slooow) & yet I ~still remember how impressive it was that they went from hating each other in s0 to practically alrdy smitten for each other in the very first ep of s1! like seeing that ep later on was just, wow & felt as if s0 (which I never got to see in reruns after, haha) was some kind of ~vague dream! looking fwd to eventually revisiting it tho, but I'm only on s2 of the Practice now.. ouch, 6 more seasons to go! xD
@@SimbiAni Honestly - if you want to watch Season 8 of The Practice, then go back and watch Seasons 1-7, it will be fine. You'll only encounter minor spoilers during the 8th season and due to the massive cast change - it's almost like a different show. Your call, just wanted to let you know, you'ld be fine doing Season 8 first (not for most shows, but in this situation - it works fine.) Enjoy!

Another great David Kelley production and the predecessor to Boston Legal. And in the final year of the Practice you get to see the spinoff into BL. But if you haven't watched The Practice start from the first season. If you liked BL you'll love The Practice! You won't be disappointed!

@@alexandreblanc7677 Yes, The Practice is a serious law show drama where Boston Legal is a comedy/drama. You can see the change in Alan Shore's character from Season 8 of The Practice to being much less serious/dangerous in Boston Legal - especially by Season 2.
