+@josesoro8315 thanks! 🍻
I'm glad I'm watching this first before doing it instead of during cuz there's a couple things I didn't have.
+PrimeTimeGrimester nice! 😁
The window attachment screws are reverse Torx (female) E7 sockets. The factory window regulator was revised in later production years to reinforce the white cable guide / tension piece there on the drive unit. So hopefully if you use a new factory regulator you will get a very long life out of it. That aft window clamp is held together with an O-ring to keep all the little pieces in place during reassembly. Very good video overall. Thank you !
+xHamfistedx thanks for the additional info! 🍻
Thank you for the detail on the rear window holder (mine fell apart into the door when I removed the window - o ring was long gone! Very helpful video.
+Golden79 thanks! Really appreciate it. Glad it helped!
I am a big believer in preventive maintenance. A eriodic squirt of dry lube in the window channel will lower the sliding resistance and stress on the window lifr drive train.
+Bob Fognozzle that’s a great idea!
thanks really hekped
