Baught mine last year. With three gamers and the wife I needed really low pings and heavy load handling all on WiFi. I had wired my old house but now we have an apartment that the wife won't allow cables all over the floor. I'm in heaven and then some with GBit speeds over wireless (over multiple PC's) and 1 to 2 ms ping (jump between pc and router) for our gaming. I am so relived with this one as my older generation wifi routers always had utterly pathetic ping performance for games ranging from 4ms to much more just between pc and the router . I've installed wireless setups for business since the very early 802.1g days and has always been barely adequate at best. I'd all but given up hope that WiFi would ever get good but thank God for WiFi6 because this is something that actually works.... About time. Or should I say Just in Time. This Apartment would see cables tacked along walls everywhere otherwise.
Should i mind about the fact that this router came out when actual wifi 6 specs were still not fully released? Will they update this to the actual specs? Really great video. Deserves more views!

Hi, great video! I really need some help here. I just bought an ASUS AX82U and the router I switched out was a Technicolour TG799vac Xtream. I also have 1000/100 Mbit/s internet. With my testing, there were literally no difference? On the AX82U, I get 930 with Ethernet cable but with Wi-Fi, with the router 1-2 meters away with 5GHZ, I get 590-600, and I have Wi-Fi 6 on my iPhone 11 Pro. On my PS5 which also has wifi 6 I can’t get over 430mbs. When I then switch back to the Technicolor I get the EXACT same results more or less. Am I missing something here? Please help! thanks in advance!

Great review ...I have 20 devices at home with all having legacy WiFi which is 801.11 ac. I am looking for upgrading my WiFi as the speed slows down when distance increases in my large home. Do you suggest this router?
802.11ax is the same thing as WiFi 6, WPA is just the WiFi security the router supports, I don't believe having a certain WPA is part of the WiFi 6 standard but more of another feature in and of itself

not worth the money... very weak signal . I bought an asus ax88u and after 2 weeks, it dropped 5 ghz ... I returned it immediately. Then I took the asus ax86u and I had a very weak signal. I returned it too.I have a 4 year old cheap d-link router , bought for 10 euro, and it has a stronger signal than ax86u ... Asus routers are very weak, they break down very quickly.

It is only 802.11ax. The main feature it lacks is WPA3
