Nice clarity on that low-B. At about 2/3 the price of a Dingwall (at least for the 5-string version), I'm glad Ibanez has properly got onboard with the multiscale thing - and actually done with a 37" low B

I'm a Dingwall Afterburner owner and I've always loved the BTB body shape and almost everything about it... If I were shopping for a bass today I'd probably go with the Ibanez.

Former Ibanez BTB 5 string owner, current Warwick 6 string player. I like where Ibanez is going with this. I’ve been looking at Dingwall lately but this is tempting as well!
Why oh why! I thought I didn’t another bass. Now this. Looks so much better than a Dingwall. Look better than my srms805dtw. Ibanez ….. your just not nice. It’s so beautiful 🤘

I've been very on the fence about the market for multi-scale instruments. It's been hard to talk myself into investing in a Dingwall or Spector because of their price being a huge barrier of entry. The EHB series seemed pretty cool, but the shorter scale length despite it being "multi-scale" made me concerned with the clarity of the lower strings. I'm glad this bass released now as I think this is what I've been personally looking for 👍 . Also quick question, anyone know what tuning the demo's in? I can tell it's not in standard because of his hand positions. My minds just drawing a blank.
I’d love to see a direct comparison between this and the Dingwall NG3! I personally have always wanted an NG3 for the sound but much preferred the look and price point of the Ibanez BTBs.

Agreed. I thought 6 strings would be too much, but i’ve come to enjoy the extra possibilities it provides such as arpeggios and chords.

Sounds pretty good! Love the addition of a zero fret.
what is the point of zero fret right below the nut, is it actually fretting the string?
