@@user-oh8zh2hj1f nah, the closest thing to what they're referring to is the AZ2204-HRM. Manuel's pink AZ is basically that guitar but with gold hardware and a gold scratchplate

@@iammauriceliveIf I remember correctly he posted a video suggesting Manuel was editing or artificially speeding up his videos. Basically that he couldn't possibly be playing these percussive turbo riffs.

I don't like the fact that they just take stock models now and add a different colour and call it a signature. Gone are the days when an Ibanez signature meant something unique and different from the rest.

Colorway is dope. A ebony board would've been "chef's kiss" though. Looks like it's a QX and not a base Q, which appeals to me even more.

Amazing how the newer generations play. I am an old man who uses picks and wish I could learn all over again. Super talented.
Manu uses picks as well. He just mixes techniques a ton is all. You can still learn about them and continue using a pick as well.

Ibanez headless guitars are so comfortable, mine is my favorite.
Finally, he has been playing mostly Ibanez ever since the AZ line first dropped. He had a custom color for a while and I though that was a prototype for his upcoming signature, I wonder if that was delayed due to the whole "glitchy hands" drama.

Looks fantastic …. I love it. Great color combo, and this is the best of the Q series, slanted frets and double humbuckers (although hss would be cool too). Manuel definitely deserves it!

Only thing I'd change on this is the frets, if they were the Jescar EVO gold like on the ICHI10 I think it would have been perfect. So happy to see Manuel finally got the signature though, guy's incredible

They aren't made anymore, sadly. That's why they switched to SS even on models that had them originally.

It looks awesome and it sounds amazing but why didn't they let Manuel put some better pickups in it ? Now don't come at me. I love my Ibanez quest guitars but the Q58 passive pickups are not as versatile as I would think manual would need. I love the alter switch and the clean tones are magnificent. I can get a decent high gain and distorted tone. Maybe it's my Boss Katana MK II amp that's not quite powerful enough.
I find that the Dimarzio pickups I have in my other Ibanez and the fishman modern in my other guitar is much more... versatile and I like how the fishman does both heavy 7 string and 6 string metal , beautiful clean tones and just about anything. The Dimarzio's have a more.. natural and less aggressive tone to the fishman which is cool because it's wonderful for different uses. I'm just surprised that with the success of the Quest series that Ibanez doesn't put some different pickups in them !
Now look, that's just my opinion and it doesn't matter. But it could be that Manuel loves the pickups or he might have a custom shop model ? 😉 with different pickups ! Either way I'm stoked for him! Rock on 🤘

It’s a six string, no real reason for a multi scale six string. With 7 or 8 you start to see some real benefits of the multi.

Love that beautiful quilted top, but that pickguard is hideous and it clashes really bad with the red body color. If I bought this I would likely get a custom clear pickguard and probably swap the gold hardware onto another Q and take the chrome hardware and put it on this. It's just way too busy in this configuration.
Super hard disagree on the pickguard, I think it ties the whole thing together perfect. Nice and small but bold contrast. That shade of gold also perfectly accents the wine red and black on gold is always a classic combo. The flat metal texture is a perfect contrast to the wild finish on the wood

@@bbbbbbread White inlays could work if the fingerboard were darker, like ebony or rosewood. Like, if you put the neck from the Q52PE on this body, it would probably work well, especially with those EVO gold frets, too bad it's slanted, though a direct swap wouldn't work unless you move the mono bridges to match proper scaling.
Blows my mind that they didn't use EVO gold fretwire on this since it's the first Q with gold hardware.

This is such a damn cool video. The song is so unbelievably great. Really impressive technique! But the guitar is also an absolute highlight. In fact, gold is a color that I personally don't like that much, but in this case it looks really fantastic. Art meets art. 🤘

Beautiful guitar. The colors compliment well the gold and red really set off the Exotic wood. Last night I was looking at new Ibanez guitars. This one just shot to the top of my list. Radius : 508mmR is incredibly flat. Sounds like an interesting guitar. I dig the design, but wish the p.u. selector switch was on the upper bout. If EVH ever make a hardtail with luminescent side dot inlay, it's over.
