  • Borrowed my friends 2019/20 BMW r nine t, to ride on the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride recently.
If you are in the market for a used/2 year old r nine t, then I would definitely consider this machine, simply brilliant and a real head turner.
Not all of us can buy a new machine, so what about buying a used one?
Before I purchased my 890R Duke, I did consider buying one of these.
So, here's a little look at the r nine t, not an in-depth review, just a ride out and to see if I would buy one.
Please comment down below if you have owned one and what the potential problems are 👍
Basically, a brilliant bike, but the seat is lacking in the padding/comfort area, but I would still have one in my garage! Especially in this flavour and colour with all the 719 options.Loved it.

Super video! To hear one of us giggling like a kid on opening the throttle and wanting to own one so much, makes my day.
Good on you and the others to make it for The Gentleman’s Ride!
She does sound glorious even in the video so must be real special in person.
    Cheers

It has an automatic stability control which is basically traction comtrol.

I have not used my BMW 1150 for about 12 years the reason probably being, they aren't particularly comfortable for long journeys, the boxer engine design means you cannot stretch any cramp out of your legs when touring, over about 100mph there's little wobble, harmonics or whatever, a condition I have seen on all of them. The shaft drive means it flicks around on the rear wheel if the gear change isn't perfect. You get used to it, if you like to potter around around 50 to 80 mph on A roads their quite nice. Over priced - if you like the label I would choose the middle weight 600

@@gsd32i Its probably due the body getting older maybe, but I used ride 100/300 miles daily - i think eventually the body ends in preferred sitting position, this leads to increased pressure on certain parts of the body. the position of the pegs puts a lot pressure on small area of the saddle, not being able to stretch legs because of the engine configuration. I think the new bike will work for coffee shop weekend rides with plenty of stops. the handling on muddy country lanes even before ABS was exceptional. I have mine I plan on tearing it down and rebuilding it - I will be buying more bikes this year but I think it will be the smaller BMW's great video - I see Harley have got raise and lower option on their dirt bike - nice to have bike that lowers itself before you got on it - have a great day
